Absolutely spot on! Green's taking it one important step further. As yet it's mostly been bloggers and supporters to adress these issues frankly, the CEO of Rangers calling a spade a spade now and exposing the hypocricy and malice of the SPL are a mighty good move and might help those in charge second guess their crusade against us.
Good questions that unfortunately are never going to be answered sufficiently or even more likely are never to be answered at all. Transparency is surely not a gigh principle at SFA and SPL.
It would really be a shame if only Gers fans would read this since most of them are already aware of the state of affairs. Can only hope stuff like this'll get through and right into the face of the folks who are referred to!
The big question imposed is if anybody would prefer to watch Rangers or their respective club play against unknown foreign clubs from far away countries rather than playing Scottish opponents. Think of the figures away fans would make up at the regular "league" fixtures. I don't think many would conceal the amount of time and money needed to watch Gers play in Sweden, Portugal or Belgium on a two - weekly basis.
Bizarrely enough we can, at least according to the logic of the SPL. That's one of the things that set me off most 'cos it just doesn't make the least bit of sense.
Not sure about McGobber though. He definitely would have a go at somebody/ something else if it wasn't for Gers. But at the end of the day these chaps know who they owe their job to and that must be a very sad perception.
Exactly. That goes especially for writing the foreword to Three Names' book and claiming not having known what a mental bigot that muppet is. And then he stood by it anyway.
Pure quality!
Thompson is a highly questionable character and if he was aware of the meaning of the Dalek- metaphor amongst Celtic support it only shows how malign he is.
The use of having European competitions is matching up with the best teams from the continent isn't it? Besides financial aspects of course. But forming a European competition for nations who's team are less successful and competitive in fact would kind of take away from that. I don't think anybody could be arsed to watch that, even Euro Leaguea is a pain to watch at times and this would be at least a level lower.
