  1. You mean chopped of with an axe hey?
  2. It was at Parkhead. One of Kirk's finest pieces of work presumably.
  3. Good point mate and all I can say is I fully agree with that.
  4. I'm finally going completely off topic here but there's a big discussion in Germany going on about this. As of now, Clubs face massive financial penalties including closed stands for home games due to misconduct of their fans. Thinking about it from that angle, to punish a club (or expect apology/ condemnation) for people who wear their colours is really going a bit overboard.
  5. As soon as erratic behaviour of a football club's fans is related to football/ the club, it surely needs to take actions. And I think it's quite clear that bombs (or whatever it was in the end) sent to a Celtic gaffer by Rangers supporters are related to football. Whereas speeding is not.
  6. What I said. He's one of those characters, you wouldn't want any spick and span player constantly dishing out stupid prefabricated answers every interview to be skipper of Gers.
  7. Same for me, I'm agnostic and I can truthfully claim to disagree with Catholicism and Protestantism in equal shares. Just as much as I disagree with the notion of confession and supporting a football club having any connection whatsoever.
  8. Do you really think that is going to happen? Personally, I doubt this could be a realistic wish for ANY football club on this planet. There's always a fraction of fans, for some clubs it may be bigger and for some it may be smaller, who will attend games to have a few, cause a ruckus and watch a bit of what's happening on the park in exactly that order.
  9. Never wrong to explore unknown territories and let them know our beloved club exists I guess, but there's a desperate need to clean up the stuff that's going on at home and that is a very valid point indeed.
  10. With no reasearch about three names' background, to them it probably looked like an opportunity to have their sales rocket up with what they figured would be a scandalous book by a rebel journalist who isn't afraid to tell the "truth". Unfortunately this turned into a truly big time failure. Beauty!
  11. And not hit the driving range by lunch hey? Absolutely right. I may be foolish and an idealist but who knows, maybe a contract until 2015 or 2016 let's a young lad think twice before he leaves a club he is still bound to for some time, rather than one that expires by the end of the season.
  12. This is annoying but the way business works today. Offering them a long term contract and then getting compensated financially is still better then giving the kid a one year deal and having to wave him goodbye for pretty much nothing.
  13. Common sense would lead you to think it would be handy to give promising young lads a contract that extends AS LONG as possible doesn't it.
  14. It was gutting, took me forever to find any stream at all, followed by delirious happyness that I managed to do so, only to realize I would miss every other shot on goal or interesting situation due to some interrupted transmission. Kind of feels better to support the club with a bit of money as well, rather than "stealing" the game from it.
  15. Yes it is a shame it is going to be midweek for that matter. Hopefully a 1st tier opponent can pull some more people than usual.
  16. It really did yesterday and the game before, so time to push my bank to finally send me that credit card. Cheers again. Oh by the way, watching Gers v. Elgin on some crappy scream yesterday only increased my craving for decent coverage!
  17. Hard week but I'm looking forward to a fantastic match with a team that will be a tough opponent. Hopefully in front of a sold out crowd at Ibrox of course.
  18. That is clearly what you want but once you have a stand out player you automatically rely on him to provide his performace. It's not that anybody would want to depend on that guy, the situation just delvelops into that direction naturally.
  19. It's just handsome isn't it. I think it was his first touch yesterday when he just cut through 2 defenders at incredible speed and I just couldn't help but love this.
  20. Really? Somewhere he was referred to as "lifelong Rangers fan". Interesting.
  21. Couldn't have put it any better. Nothing but a totally disproportionate craving for recognition could drive a "fan" of any football club to dedicate a great deal of their life to it's utter rivals.
  22. Didn't know about that, fairly decent to be honest if you consider the best average (i.e. Messi obviously) being just above 1 goal each game.
  23. No mate they absolutely should. I can't believe how people actually relate to what this tit has to say.
