all non necessary tasks.do you think they have any intention of bringing in anyone until next season and what do you think the honest chances of that person not having a previous affiliation are? -

fine. if asked who would the support rather have mccall and weir or magath and cathro how will they answer? the main point as explained earlier is they will not work to the best interests of the club but to their own gains through pushing the old boys network. if they cannot seperate themselves from that network to bring more fans to their fold then why would they do so when making decisions on the best way forward for the club? why when they refuse to work with transparency will they do so in club dealings? -

why would i want to know after giving them my money? that was the answer they gave aswell and does nothing but foster thoughts they are hiding things they know the support will not engage with once knowing -

what if the support want all groups disbanded and one official entity with no previous group board members involved being the way forward? do you believe they would fight on behalf of the support or against? what if the support decide we want rf to be the only official entity? wants are inline until they threaten the power and standing of the group. -

the viewpoint that they can only champion and full heartedly support actions that originate from them. The view they understand the average fans wants. It also comes down to their failure to take onboard supporters worries and act on them to full conclusion. Also they seem to insulate themselves from simple questions.they havd created a mentality that comes across as always being aimed at self promotion very poor to say people want to spoil a step forward. a step forward for who? the disagreement is on it benefitting rangers in anyway. As for why one rule for one and another for the rst. Thats simply their past speaks for future action far more than words. The rst are not trusted for one main reason, association. They have failed right up until present day to sort that problem in a frank and precise manner. Until that happens average fans will keep turning their back. its not just down to the personality involved its down to the mistrust in rst motives. -

not on the board but degrees of seperation are marginal at best. agree with lazy journalism but would argue anybody speaking in the name of Rangers needs to do so while exhibiting a very strong sense of right and wrong. exploiting lazy journos and using open ended expressions to extrapolate wrong conclusions from the listener is not doing so. eg "all the fans" "the fans want" "on behalf of the fans" "the support demands" maybe installing fans reps is fresh thinking, personally think its at best repackaging the same old tripe. for me its important to have differing views all working to the same aims and goals. that is lost when those aims and goals are superceeded by third party demands. -

i am afraid we will need to agree to disagree on every point.Dont see anyway it will help anyone other than the few thousand members they have. Personally think it will cause harm and seperation between club and the greater support. guess we can look back in 18 months time and see who benefitted and who lost out. as for the RF guys they come absent the shadow that engulfs the rst, and will therefore be given the time to prove where their priorities lie. -

nobody thinks they cant do two things at once. as far as time management goes with the season running out the boards priority should be a stop gap in place till the end of season with the goal of promotion and ending the embarrassing spectacle both on and at the side of the park. Not paying back favours that hint towards the old boys nework being alive and well. -

would have expected the rst to have announced his resignation. PM stated fans groups deserved a place for helping them out. dont think its a big jump to assume this is that thanks -

its about priorities. did we not just out board members for working to their own interests? admittedly far different ends of the spectrum. but what is the difference to cg working with added priorities and agendas on behalf of a group, than say an ex company employee being placed to make sure that ex employers agendas are front and center? is it too much to ask all board members work with one priority and one goal,Rangers? -

everytime they talk they infer or even state "the fans want" which they have no right to do. They should be saying "our members" .Have never once seen any of them correct the fallacy"fans spokesman" as for a few dozen thats just poor. The greater support stay clear of the RST for well known reasons as evidenced by thd number of members they have managed to attracted over 9years of trying. Until they remove themselves completely from you know whos shadow they will continue to remain stunted in their growth. the apathy excuse went out the window when the RF outstripped them in a meare 12 months of exsistance. for me evidence that they understand the wider supportes thinking and desires for me it is a wasted oppertunity that will now be used to grow Rst stremgth that it could not achieve on merit. How long before they push RST membership as automatic when buying a st? would far prefer the elected fans board instead of unelected groups aligning themselves -

disagree frankie. I think you will find a bigger number than you realise dislike cg and the rst not just the online support.when talking in the media they rarely claim to talk as the voice of a few thousand fans and hide behind the loose title of fan rep. If they cannot be expected to take the view that does the best for Rangers and not just their own groups concern then they should not be worthy of a fans place on the board. smacks of jobs for votes and underlines the concerns of having PM on board.A large number of the support in my view are worried we revert to jobs for the boys. Lets hope they get the managers appointment correct and leave the network of old players or those they know from before behind. We need fresh thinking to take us away from old habits, that will not be found hanging round the same old watering hole of past. -

the appointment of cg is a poor one that will widen the chasm between factions of the support. We should be doing all in our power to unite the support and remove these umbrella groups. Not weeks ago they couldnt even congradulate other groups with cg avoiding the question on tv telling us all we need to know about his and the rst view on unity. how many present members has the rst managed to attract from the estimated 5m? -

well called that last week. Whats his first priority RST concerns/wants or the greater supports? they are not fan representatives they are their factions reps in my opinion. -

Agree context is the vital ingredient. Management decision must be announced before pre season next year. Decision declared on what is happening this season in the next week on whether a short term fix is being sought or whether this season is a right off. Dof football or a set timetable with aims and goals released on football infrastructure before kickoff next season. Fair or unfair? What else is expected?
