  1. we need to learn to be pre-emptive
  2. hope so but find it doubtful. Ashley would want the stalemate in place to stop exactly that from happening. His every move has been with the sole aim of protecting his power. He has had plenty of time to get roadblocks set up.
  3. not if ashley uses his two positions instantly. 3-3 them we are back to stalemate.
  4. think it was billy connelly who said "the want to be a politician should immediately ban you from ever being one" not sure we need any representitive to be business savoy now. Too many chefs. We need a broad spectrum of ideas and perspectives, its then the job of the business side to find the best way to implement those ideas. Not all good ideas make business sense and if restricted to that manner would ultimately hurt the club.
  5. except fledgling groups they have an eleven year start on.
  6. why would it be a bonus? bonus for who? never understand the third party needs. only representation needed is for the betterment of rangers ,allegiances , wants and actions should be solely focused. they should not be split between club and group betterment. as said individuals are welcome. Letham has done more than most recently and would deserve a place. But that place should not give any group an ear that speaks for a number less than a majority.
  7. is their any evidence of this slip? wasnt there myself can only go with the word of those who were
  8. would counter that by saying what percentage of the support have they managed to attract in how many years of opperating and how does that match up against other clubs official supporters clubs/trust.
  9. as said above only if opperating absent of political ambition on behalf of the rst.
  10. the indivdual if representing a fans group would be irrelevant as they would need to put aside personal beliefs to do as their party wanted or demanded. The question is whether those wants would 1. match the greater supports. 2. be absent of what is best for fans group over Rangers/fans 3.be seen openly by the support as always being for the betterment of the club. if Frankie was to stand on his own i would back him without a single misgiving. He comes across as a very level headed guy who can see the bigger picture. He has never came across as the power hungry type or one who would manouver with one eye on personal gain. Perfect type.
  11. would be a poor move to put an rst board member on the club board. they have failed to attract majority support from the fanbase for a very long time. They have consistantly refused to seperate themselves from individuals who most of the support rightly or wrongly mistrust. If they do not have the foresight to see that simple fact they will never be able to talk for the fans They amount to nothing more than a clique.
  12. i just find everyone is thick!!
  13. just relieved they voted the board out. no problems with the murray part
  14. haha magic
  15. can what james holds be deemed as one of the biggest?
  16. heard this earlier. seemingly said we have been wrong in his intention and here is the proof.
  17. depending on the circumstances of my next club i am not that far away. i want to manage as soon as possible
  18. guess you dont agree with fit for purpose or any of the iso parameters.
  19. he also made it clear he wants back to scotland and would find it hard to knock back a managerial role did he not?
  20. take it james easdale will be selling his?
  21. any new entity in charge is a begining and should be judged as so. that being said circumstance dictates they must hit the ground running. No room for if buts and maybees. Actions and not words should as always be the parameter of sucess/failure
  22. Only worry for me is Ashley uses the two positions his loan allegedly allows the minute the egm result is known.
  23. I take it his position cannot be filled before the egm?
