Yes i told it weeks ago as well but since then warburton has came in and said he has final say on all transfers. Taking it the manager will not be over ruled His agent said the deal was all agreed he would be coming to rangers as long as hibs do not go up. He also said he would have signed before but mccoist screwed them over. Wouldn't elaborate.

forfar played only 4 of 7 available How many full games at Portsmouth? 4 or 5? league 1- plays 13 games, 5 as a sub, 3 he gets taken off, 1 goal ,1 assist (5 full games in total) championship- 20 games ,3 as sub, 9 of them he gets subbed, 1 goal 5 assists (8 full games in total) Scottish championship- plays 30 games, 2 as a sub, 12 games he is subbed off ,2 goals ,15 assists the majority for hibs at right mid for comparison vuckic played 15 scored 8 and 2 assists, danny wilson played 31 scored 5 with 5 assists at centre half Are we not trying to improve the side? sorry have watched the guy a few times for scotland u21 and hibs he is poor. The more i think about it the less likely i see Warburton signing off on him.

King stated from the start that a committee had been selected to identify the best candidate. Total non issue.

Its no wind up. I rate Allan as bad as Hutton. Its nothing to do with hutton being a good player. Its Allan is that bad. Experience?! Hes took part in 8 games in the spl. that's the problem too many watching highlights or one game and thinking they can judge a player. The boy is poor, the amount of times he loses possession will not go down well at Ibrox. There is a reason Forfar, mk dons, west brom and birmingham all didnt rate him. 2 goals in 40 games in the second tier of scottish football from midfield. Is that meant to be a selling point? 10 games for scotland u21's scored 0 assists 1. In the 9 games he started subbed in them all If making a comparison to last years squad what level would you rate him at?
-
he flopped in england and was released. He went to four teams on loan and never really broke into any team. Then went to hibs. So he wasn't always highly rated at all. Hutton will be average once he moves to a league were he gets more time on the ball. Time will tell ,think your in for a nasty surprise if Warburton OKs the move.
-
What do you put his rise in stature on? Stubbs? He completely flopped in england then after a year at hibs he's now good enough to play centre mid for Rangers in front of 45k fans
-
maybe unfair on Hutton. Doubt Murdoch could mark him out the game. Allan misplaces passes when under no pressure regularly something that will get worse with 45000 watching. What makes you rate him the one good game he had against us or the media hype?
-
Why do people who cry every time they come across an alternative opinion come onto forums? Do you not realise they are to discuss the current issues? If you can't debate a 35 year old who's just had 2 knee ops signing might as well pack it in. Or for that matter debate the merits of signings. Its a discussion thread on a forum. Go to an appreciation only page.

It was his agent just after he had left murray park.
-
allan deal was arranged with his agent before Warburton had signed. Think he has some sort of release clause because hibs didnt get promoted
-
keep a note if they happen.... eustace-hardly plays (<15 games) Wilson- slow, constantly out of position and out muscled. Allan- poor, rated around the hutton mark, constantly gives ball away under no pressure. Kiernan- no idea. we(the fans) will want rid of them all when we go up.
-
If wilson, kiernan ,allan and eustace are all true future signings i hope to hell the next batch are far better. rationalising it as he is saving money on the defensive acquisitions so he has more to spend on the attacking players.

looks like a very happy guy! good luck to him. Its sounds like the good news is going to keep coming! -
you think its feasible we will play in spain 3 days before we open the league campaign?

disagree mate. we are talking about sport as an entertainment business people are looking for hero's. Hero's are not made by just winning they produce feats of magic that make them the best. When they turn football into entertainment, it will cease to be a "real" sport. real madrid and barcelona disagree

WS is arguably our most successful manager nobody can take that away from him or diminish how much he did for us. all i am trying to say is that ethos of just doing enough to win must die if we are to grow. I am sure those who take young kids to games will tell you the struggle it is becoming. With far more exciting and vibrant games on telly we face stiff competition nowadays. We need to evolve whilst keeping our core values, traditions and winning mentality at the forefront. I think this board hopefully understands that. The hiring of Warburton points in the right direction.
-
when all things are considered like expense and walters own words on winning being the only aim. Yes his ethos brought poorer football than the outlay could have achieved have said it before the run to the uefa cup were i went to every game, most of the football was awful to watch. Most games ended with "onwards and upwards but that was brutal "comments. When he was spending £22k a week on the likes of whittaker for right back he could have aimed for more exciting attributes in a right back but that wasnt the style he preferred. Walter has said it before himself winning at any cost was the goal. I just see that ethos as no longer viable in the long term if we want to grow. The same ethos now when up against the competition we face for youngsters attention will leave us diminishing year on year.
-
The two are not exclusive. At no point does winning need to be sacrificed for style or vice versa. just ask the most successful clubs in the world who also attract the biggest level of support through their entertainment levels. we obviously cant produce teams like madrid and barca but we can produce the ethos. its harder to win playing great football when you have high levels of competition domestically like arsenal face. Winning in scotland is easy you pretty much have one team to beat. There is no excuse for not being able to do it with at least a modicum of style.
-
not in the entertainment business. Plus this isnt about a person but a commodity . The shinier the commodity while retaining its use the more attention it will demand.
-
yeah in the real world you need to be boring to be successful.

voted no he was one of the best players in the squad last season but want a better squad this season

is it only me that cant understand why a newspaper gives more column space to rumours than a factual story -
had hoped of being a very small part of Rangers history. A silver lining that comes at a very high cost
