  1. The Directors sit at the other side of the Directors box and were there yesterday.
  2. Recorded last week (Friday) by the sound of it.
  3. Ian Ferguson on the opening day of the league season. Chris Woods suffered a dislocated shoulder in a challenge with Kenny McDowall. St.Mirren won the game 1-0.
  4. Even MacLeod was shunted out wide to be accommodated which didn't do him a lot of favours.
  5. If his contract is coming end and there have been no discussions about a new one then what is it he is expecting to be told.
  6. He is accountable, I'm saying what he earns is not of his doing and shouldn't be a factor.
  7. So you think if he was earning next to nothing he would have just chucked it by now?
  8. I really can't understand why his alleged salary is brought into this. If the powers that be were stupid enough to pay him x amount them that is hardly his fault. He isn't making mistakes on purpose, if he was earning £50 per week it is still the same outcome. He just isn't good enough anymore.
  9. Is McCulloch still performing a coaching role or did that cease with the departure of McDowall and the arrival of Stuart McCall and Kenny Black?
  10. Demonstration on the 8th, we should be storming the front door tomorrow night! This is an absolute scandal.
  11. Noticed in the Metro this morning that all of the Murray Group of Companies are being wound up, notice served on 5th January 2015. Seems rather strange to me that this was not front page news?
  12. Is the article suggesting that he has spoken to either King and/or the Three Bears group or is this more likely to be a conversation he has had with Ashley and therefore some more spin?
  13. Where does Ian Hart fit into things these days, at one stage he had a shareholding of around 1.3% I believe and was obviously aligned to the Blue Knights at one stage. However, he does seem to still be in with the current board despite deciding to step down as a Director. I noticed at the AGM he was taking a fair bit of abuse by a few people as he took his seat (as a shareholder). What is the story with him. Could King, Letham, Park etc. rely on his shareholding?
  14. So can I ask what is Ashley's next move likely to be? He can't increase his existing shareholding beyond 10% as things stand and presumably the most obvious step is to ask for his £3m loan back. Do we know how much notice we get should he call that in? Today's news presumably doesn't change anything with regards to how the current board of Directors would vote. If they decline the £6.5m offer from Park consortium could we still be faced with an Administration? Would that be Ashley's thinking?
  15. Noticed Alan McLeish of QTS now sponsoring League Cup on the back if his existing involvement with Kilmarnock. Another Rangers man as I understand it.
  16. Templeton suggested as a starter in all these variations. For me, he sums up everything wrong the team. Absolutely shocking in every aspect.
  17. He might not have been a board member but I'm sure he came out and said that Whyte's behaviour was totally bizarre whilst he was employed as DOF and that it was clear Whyte had no interest in anything long term. If Smith had an inkling things were wrong he should have spoken out. That he didn't has never sat well with me and frankly this open letter is an insult.
  18. So is there actually an email which has been made public?
  19. I agree there may not be any requirement for HMRC approval but surely if they were already well aware of Whyte's track record and were actively pursuing him then it seems incredible that they would allow him to go so long without paying tax once he took control of us? You would have thought they would have been all over him like a rash?
  20. Thank you for that response which is in line with my own thinking. If that has happened and these one off costs were essentially a mechanism to pay back 'Ticketus' then surely there is a full paper trail. Surely this is fraudulent?
  21. Can someone explain to me exactly how Ticketus are recouping their initial losses by buying Into the IPO under the guise of margarita and BPH (assuming this is correct)?
  22. Rightly or wrongly, my gut feeling when I attended the AGM last December was that Graham Wallace was the only member of the board who came across in any kind of positive light. The others, well I didn't believe a single word that was coming out of their mouths and I think most in attendance would have formed a similar view. I have an e-mail I sent to a friend later that day confirming all of the above and saying that if Wallace ends up leaving or being ousted then it is clear to me that he is not pulling the strings and being prevented from doing his job. That has become obvious to all and I agree that his performance has been questionable but I would still stand by my gut feeling that day. I don't think he ever stood a chance and has been on a hiding to nothing since day one. His refusal to accept an unwarranted bonus has probably lost him any sympathy but this latest development is a real concern for me. If successful in removing Wallace and Nash (and I'm sure they will be), then I don't believe there is a single person remaining in the boardroom that has the interest of Rangers as any sort of priority.
