If you can't understand all of the words, here's a lyric check ... Collymore's a wanker He wears a wanker's hat He was a Forest bastard And then a Leicester twat He went out with Ulrika (something about kicking her head?) And when he went to derby (he broke his fucking leg)

Do you think the SFA, going by past attitudes and behaviour towards Rangers, would care whether you had the moral high ground or not? I'm not saying that we should not clean up our own act, but we should do it for ourselves and our own standards, not to satisfy such a corrupt body as the SFA.

Can't that club ever accept any decision from the authorities? Don't they realise that there are other people in the game with an opinion too?
-
Why would a club wish to accept a player, whether signing him permanently or taking him on loan, without first conducting a medical? Conflict of interest by the official negotiating the contract?

That is a shame Shirley Anne, for the future of the game. I hope, unlike your hubby, that you lay the marker for being unable to take your child to a future game at the feet of the teams responsible. Do I really need to point out to you and your hubby that this had f**k all to do with Rangers FC? (I don't use twitter, maybe one of you who does could pass this little comment along. Thx.)

Well, I guess today just goes to prove that it's not the coaching that's to blame. That's three of them now and still this same guff. Scunnert !!!!

The right McCall, but an even bigger one awaits King in the summer
barca72 replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Whoa. Nobody knows anything for sure yet, and that probably includes the board. Why don't we give them a chance to look under the bonnet and see if they can steady the ship first? Then we can discuss what we are entitled to !! -

FS, I know this is a wee bit off-topic, but can you tell us if the new board has had any contact with the RFB yet? I have a two part question - a) do you know if the new board consider the RFB as a going concern? b) I understand why the new board would reward the RF & RST for their support by appointing each a representative, but is there someone on the RFB that would support the RST appointment and at the same time represent the RFB? -
I would think that the board prefer not to have any confrontations or distractions during these early stages of their remit. If the haters and bigots think they have 'won' it must surely feel, once their euphoria has worn off, like a hollow victory. I do feel though that once the club has been steadied and starts to move forward that these detractors will find out that this is our club, and not their plaything.

I think you can see JT's hands all over this decision. He knows the mood of the mhedia. Unfortunately it may look as if the board have capitulated to bad press, but it's probably best for the future.

What goes around ... http://metro.co.uk/2015/03/12/paris-saint-germain-fans-refuse-to-let-chelseas-john-terry-on-champions-league-train-in-spoof-video-5100438/

Well, I guess we have a choice then. We can either deem the response today to Chris's tweet as payback by some journalists because Chris pissed them off, or we can see it as outright bigotry from Scotland's mhedia. When you consider the other stories published today - the 4 mths. for singing TBB, the fact that the numptie who sent the threat to Lennon was officially banned from Ibrox etc., and then wonder why they do not publicly push Celtic to issue a request to have the fans who accompanied the guy who bottled young Keiran Murphy, to name and shame the perpetrator - I wonder if you think this is one-way traffic? Now please understand I am not making judgement on whether Chris Graham was right wrong or indifferent in his tweeting, I am more concerned with the imbalance in the mhedia and how they treat Rangers. In all conscience I have to ponder many times why they choose to publish stories that are unconditionally designed to feed the faux outrage of their readers.

Stuart McCall officially confirmed as new Rangers manager
barca72 replied to chilledbear's topic in Rangers Chat
I would suggest that you make comfort with your pain until at least the end of the season, because the board have made their move for now. Let's hope it is successful, eh? -
He did not look like a deer in the headlights, did he?

Is that for real?? They have been in office for six days. They haven't even had time to find the phone numbers of people they want to call yet. After Tue.'s result I commend them for recognizing that something absolutely had to be done to attempt to save the season. This is not how the team, or the team management (probably), will look going into next season. They have at least recognized that the support deserves better than abject misery for now. -
It has. Here is another example. Four months for singing a song ??? http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-31856341

That may be true, but I thought Frankie was alluding to Rangers' culture. The club, the supporters, the fact that it is seen to have a Protestant heritage are all in the sights of the media. Surely you would agree that to destroy a culture, you must first attack and wound its Institutions? How else would you describe the media's actions over the last few years?

You knew the job was too much for you and you didn't try to fool anybody. Best for the future, Kenny.

Here's a link. Worth a look. If the link doesn't work for you I'll try and find a printed article. This is not the first fatwa I have seen here. http://www.cbc.ca/player/News/Canada/ID/2658308894/

Irvine is correct when he says you cannot suspend a director. However, you can suspend the powers of a director. That is to say that the director can attend meetings but he cannot vote on any matters at the meeting.

I'm not advocating it, bud. I'm just posting what Paul Murray's new BFF thinks.

Nobody would argue that the football and players are awful, it would always have cost us to re-build; but there are other considerations. What does his salary and shares come to, a few million pounds? Stack that up against denying the cabal stealing our titles. Green has admitted that if Ally hadn't been with him, he would have capitulated. Let him go, he done his bit.
