  1. Should Green have to prove he's not the Yorkshire ripper if someone says it?

The whole idea is illogical. The money was raised, end of.

It doesn't really affect the club if green is the yorkshire ripper. Him not being truthful about the ipo, does. Like I said, show us the bank statements, and I'll stfu.

  2. I think this does

Rangers do not need fans like that as far as I'm concerned.

Most football clubs operate on the premise that 90% of their fans are blind loyal sheep. Luckily, Rangers, and celtic have almost 100% loyalty. I'm quite proud that I'm not one of them. Rangers used to stand for something and give it's support a sense of identity, and belonging. Now it's just another money making scam for suits that couldn't give two fucks for any of our history or traditions. The tipping point will come within all football clubs, and maybe we can get back to the most important thing. The actual sport.

  3. Or maybe Thomson can explain his allegations some more, like how you can falsely claim cash raised on the AIM stock Market. It's hardly kids play.

Show us the bank statements then. That's also a shit-load of interest we we are losing if it's not in our account. For all we know, ticketus could be sitting with that dough.

  4. bit different to the ipo in fairness. at least it should be.

I think there is ways. The promissary notes for example. I don't think they actually involve cash changing hands, but I'm no expert. If it's anythin like the original "investment", I'd stake my left baw there has been some jiggery pokery.

  5. Thomson now casting doubt on exactly how much cash was raised.

    http://blogs.channel4.com/alex-thomsons-view/rangers-public-wrangle-400000/4098#more-4098

I too have my doubts that we have £22m sittng in the bank waiting to be spent. It's been over 6 weeks now and have we actually spent any of it yet, apart from on running expenses? The real test will be when the transfer embargo is up, and we see the excuses why Ally doesn't get his promised £10m warchest.

  6. I suppose I'm interested in whether you ever channel your energy into have any answers on how you would have things.Or is moaning just what you know?

We should boycott season books until green sells up. We shouldn't buy books until we have someone at he helm with Rangers best interests at heart. Radical eh.

  7. The first month's wages were paod by a loan ? I didnt see that, can you clarify please ?

It was in the initial allegation from thompson. The club deemed it "unworthy of comment", in both statements they made. Commonly known as sweeping under the carpet.

  8. How in the world would that make you a hypocrite? Surely you back Rangers through whatever means inspite of who the owner, CEO, manager etc is?

Having a bad manager isn't a reason to withdraw financial support, having a bad owner/CE, is. I have better things to spend my money on than greens gas bill. People like green rely on unquestionablle loyalty from supporters to make profit for themsleves. I choose not to encourage that behaviour. Doesn't mean I stopped following Rangers, or my view wont change once he's gone. Saying that, I didn't go to Ibrox until everyone responsible for bringing mojo was gone. Then we got whyte......

  9. i dont think yo can blame the fans who bought books. i was never pro boycott.

these things are up to individuals.

I'm not blaming them gs. I'm just sayin without the vast uptake, green couldn't have bought us. His whole plan was reliant on the support stepping up in numbers.

  10. When considering "buying" the club surely we have to separate technical perspective from periphery ?

I completely understand what you are saying, I really do. But technically the use of outside loans for the 1st month's wages are not part of the purchasing process. The ST monies provided working capital post-purchase, not the purchase price itself.

I'm sure the first months wages were all part of the deal of purchase, outwith the purchase price. We have only found out yesterday that this was paid with an external loan, to be paid back by the club, ie, the fans. At the very least, they were less than honest at the time. Without that loan, they couldn't have bought, an certainly wouldn't have been the "best bidder", imo.

  11. we now see why brian kennedy imediatly offered to buy them out plus 10%. i wonder how close he came to getting us for that.

Probably very close. Green was shiteing because of bomber, and the worry that we wouldn't buy books. If we just held out for another month or so, green would have sold, either to kennedy, or McColl, and we might actually be on the right path, instead of the way we are heading now. We blinked and the rest is history.

  12. Ya lying bassa, you are no people pleaser :D (calling GS a bassa was a joke for the easily offended....)

I am not sure how the fans bought the club, unless of course Green's investors used the ST monies to do so. Have they ? And before you get all gooey about this.... so long as the investors stumped up their own cash initially and even if they did repay themselves from ST monies.... then the fans did not buy the club, technically speaking.

The initial investors couldn't even cover the first months wage bill, without outside "loans". The fans bailed green out by buying season books in great numbers, otherwise his regime was over before it began. So without us, his plan to buy was fucked. Hardly a great starting point, and it does kinda mean that we helped him "buy" the club.

  13. To be fair he did try to collect money from peoples bank accounts through direct debits when he legally had no mandate to do so.

There's a difference all right though there are parallels and I can see gs's point of view, however I do not think it can be proven that either Whyte or Green used "financial assistance" which is using the companies own funds to fund its purchase which as you state correctly is illegal, though I don't think there is any doubt that the fans have effectively bought the club twice in the last two years.

One thing's for sure Green or perhaps rather Ahmed is far smarter than Whyte.

All three of them have one thing in common. Neither of them had a pot to piss in when they bought us. I would like to have seen what green would have done in whytes position. I doubt the outcome would have been much different.

  14. As someone who was on the end of those Spanish batons, JT said we deserved.

I'm torn we may not have deserved such a beating but we where out of order and screaming some of stuff into a catholic cops face who's holding a bloody big stick is stupid and asking for trouble. Did we embarrass Scotland? well we claim Celtic embarrass Scotland with their IRA shit all over Europe so we cant very claim the moral high ground when we are singing about Catholics in the same places.

What I will say is plenty of folk were not screaming at police or getting involved, got caught up in it as well and those people deserve an apology from JT.

We did deserve to be pulled up for some of sectarian stuff we swanned around Europe singing at times and eventually we did

With all due respect, this is the problem. All fans sing offensive songs, not just us. Can you send me link to traynor castigating other fans , implying that they aren't decent people, and Scotland is better off without us in Europe? He has a right as a journalist to say what he wants, just like I have the right to not forget it, and feel sick that we are now paying him a good wage.

  15. Like he boycotts Ibrox but rushes to the one game Green asked us not to go to.

I don't "boycott" Ibrox, and I never went to the DU game. I wanted to, but circumstances dicated otherwise. I've never hidden the fact I'm more of an armchair supporter, than a real one, but I've always contributed my bit, either through buying strips and the like, or going to the odd game. Mr green will not see one cent of my money, that's all I've ever said. I'm not a hypocrite.

  16. He only runs the club...

Which he gets well paid for, not including his bonuses, and ALL living expenses. Close on £3m chucky will be pulling, in less than a year. Nice work if you can get it. So far he's overseen us getting humped from 3 cups, losing all our best players, and stumbling towards winning a pub league having to endure some of the worst football seen at Ibrox for years. Great value for money.

  17. GS take a chill pill and lie down in a dark room for 10 mins before your head explodes mate.

He didn't use the clubs money to buy the club mate, I know you think he did but he didn't mate.

He technically did, if we are now paying this company a fee for finding us investors. That money was owed by green and co, not the club. That's before you start on the money he tapped to pay last junes wage bill, that we are now also paying back.

If you think about it,one of our our largest shareholders(green) didn't invest a single penny in the club. Genius.

  18. Surprise surprise the usual suspect acting all "UBER " yet again , Rangers can do nothing right in your eyes can they

Is traynor "Rangers" now? He is an employee, nothing more. Just like the bead rattling stewards we employ. Are they "Rangers" also?

  19. Do you hold stuff like Ally rejecting the club three times against him?

I don't remember Ally saying that our fans weren't "decent people", or that he is happy we are pumped from europe because of the shame we bring on Scotland. Slight difference to Ally not joining us for football reasons, and what the oaf has said about us.

  20. Looks like someone is having a tantrum at being told to calm down a bit.

I wasn't told to "calm down a bit". My signature about how traynor used to speak about us, was censored because of complaints from posters. To be fair, traynor probably has an account here, and he doesn't really like people reminding him of his past regarding what he has written about us. Now he is writing shite about the very way that he used to act. Another pig with his nose in the trough. He even admits he's not a Rangers fan. Big surprise.
