  1. So about all we know for sure, then, is that it wasn't that?
  2. One would hope not but his final paragraph is a tad alarming in that regard.
  3. As long as we don't have to groundshare with them :-(
  4. "The Gibson Street event is a folk and community festival......." Er, yes - and we ARE the folk and the community!!!
  5. What's this, a referee exercising common-sense?! I thought those days were long gone
  6. Fair enough. Admirable of you, I guess. I was a glass half-empty dour Scot from Presbyterian stock plus lashings of my own inbuilt cynicism before David Murray turned into the first of many monsters so you can imagine how dark, twisted and bitter my heart is now!
  7. Your faith in human nature is astounding! "I am just back to this news and would never in a million years have reached for the phrase "give him the benefit of the doubt..."
  8. yes, sorry Frankie, I just meant the name wasn't totally out of the blue. Seems very far-fetched (but ten rewind 30 months and what was to start unfolding was unbelievable). however just the fact such rumours persist show how adrift at sea we are, choppy waters ahead, again- whatever way we look at this situation.
  9. no, but one cannot forget this: http://http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/ibrox-chiefs-roll-out-red-1460777
  10. The dodgy tycoon/gangster who was "exposed" by the Rhebel back in November? jeez, more crooks. This is what happens when criminals get in the door, they are followed by others. Witness Portsmouth and Leeds - liars, conmen, swindlers and thieves; the first one opens the door to a succession of blood-sucking parasites.
  11. I have always suspected the D&P acted illegally or at the very least unethically for the simple reason we were told that Whyte only ever panicked when it seemed that HMRC were going to get to appoint the administrators instead of him getting his pet choice. It was suspicious as f@@@ then and all suspicions were hardened by their bewildering actions, and oft inaccurate and/or self-contradictory statements.
  12. I meant to put a wink-smiley at the end of that, sorry. As I said on another thread last week though - there have been times since O'kneel and TLB came to Scotland when I have felt this way. Wrong though I know it to be.
  13. I agree with that as an aim objectively speaking. However I find it hard to achieve after the actions of say: MIM, Lloyds, BBC, D&P, SFA, SPL BBC, Channel 4..... I fear that the last few years have scarred me for life Oh and Harper Collins yet another another "reputable firm". RangersMedia were absolutely sure there was a conflict of interest there when they were dealing with us and and are now absolutely sure that there is no possibility of there being any conflict of interest within Deloitte. Then again they support Deloitte just because Mark Dingwall does not. Their entire "thought" processes seemed determined by a hatred of FF....when, as we all know, they should be being shaped by a hatred of septic. ;-)
  14. I never used to, not until they started to do so
  15. I can imagine the phress having fun with the "masons" name. I can't see how it will be taken seriously as an investigation if it involves Deloitte. No-one will now believe it is impartial whether it is or isn't. I wish we had some non-involved body investigating everyone: Mint, Muir, Lloyds, D+P, Ellis, Whyte, Green, Zeus, Octopus, Ticketus, Biased, bigoted bloggers, the BBC, the Mhedia, SFA, SPL and all their contacts, lawyers and dodgy deal sub-contractors.
  16. Thanks to you both. You have unmuddied some waters for me.
  17. ta, it is a bit of an odd article - some links tenuous and just thrown in, the headline more dramatic than anything solid in it - but what I find disturbing are the Worthington's and Zeus's of this world and how they always have people involved with Whyte in one way or another.
  18. Even though it is the Rhebel, they clearly have someone on the inside feeding them info. So, some of this is very worrying (yes, I know some of you will say all is fine, don't be a drama queen - you always say that and the nightmare scenario always unfolds as the drama queens always fear!)
  19. I see our list of honours does not include this year's title
  20. Well said, Craig. I was about to query their use of the word "mediate". It seems they don't understand it - bit like "integrity" really.
  21. Bribery, corruption, intimidation, thuggish bullying - the usual, in other words. It is way past the time when someone in real authority in the land stepped in and called a halt to what is happening to our game.
  22. He says an awful lot of things. These rarely have a connection with reality. I think he said something about him having signed it for one year only. Since he has nothing to do with the deal and signs nothing with regard to it, I think we can put it down as yet more hot air/spin.
  23. Odd way to put it. Surely detest them all or at least detest the timz and hate the others? Much as the sheep, arabs and HIVs deserve hatred surely not moreso than the septic?
  24. "This, at the end of a season where we joined Europe’s elite as one of the top 16 clubs across the continent." Hahahahahahah - priceless. what a hypocritical wank
  25. "The vote was no unfortunately. One club in particular you need to ask exactly what their agenda is, (that club) is St Mirren. "There was a major concession on the table today and, if it didn't deliver, then the opportunity was there to look at it down the line within two to three years. "It's the status quo. The offer of changing the reconstruction rules was rejected by the two clubs (St Mirren and Ross County). Nobody can see the logic behind that. "This is going to have major implications for Scottish football in the short-term and could potentially damage the game in the long term. "I am very angry because today we have let down Scottish football and one person in particular. "St Mirren Football club have really got to go and pose themselves the question why they are prepared to put the rest of Scottish football in jeopardy just because of their own selfish interests?"[/b] bold part one = "one person in particular" = Peter??? Bold part 2 - like you by voting to keep the 11-1 vote split, then? Hypocrite!!!!
