  1. Oh well, after the excitement of yesterday it is back to having paid RTV and, as usual this season, getting a lot of e-mails done while the game on in another window. I also listened to King again and not only couldn't hear any hint of the much rumoured foregin investment but got the impression it was not something that has been spoken about at all. Time will tell. Oh well........time for the 2nd half.
  2. Exactly - just imagine the sales of a T-shirt with "Let's Go" on it.
  3. Thanks, Ian - they go on a lot in this one about an extended interview in the following programme - did you get that, too?
  4. Thanks, I was just home and had yet to hear it.
  5. Excellent final answer, though
  6. Photographers at the beginning = so British: "Steven, Steven, Steven....Mr. King".
  7. Well, he has a point - was probably hoping for Kenny Miller as player-manager, after all I get all the doubts and worries and I know it is a huge risk but I'm tired of feeling down about us all the time and want to share in the excitement of the day. it's just lovely to come home and hear our name is being spoken about in the way it used to be in UK wide coverage. rather than for what the last 6-7 years have brought.
  8. Just home from work. Does Gonzo believe that it is happening, yet?
  9. Oi, treacle teeth = Suspending Wallace and Miller surely signified the opposite.
  10. There train metaphors are getting out of hand
  11. Bit upmarket for him though, I thought. I mean I occasionally stay there when I'm up for a game and flying back the next day but I can't see Stevie ger being able to afford it
  12. Rumours that police have been asked to be at Ibrox tomorrow for noon.....expecting an announcement. Could be bollox, of course, just passing on from other forums and texts. You know how it goes. Appears on a forum. somone tweets it to a pal who tweets it to several who do likewise. Forum then receives "confirmation" via said tweets. Folk then text you convinced it is true. Got to be right sometimes though. Folk having lots of fun.... https://w1.minpic.de/i/62m1/19pis4
  13. They never let facts get in the way, do they?
  14. Yes, but just for the one-off value.............they'd be in such a state
  15. If this week is a slow news one, then I would never survive a fast news one! "Slow news week"? Really?
  16. I think this would be brilliant on many levels, Not least that we would sing it far better than them ...or Liverpool....over 45,000 (of bears only, I mean - nearly the whole ground sang it) of us proved that at Wembley in 77 (yes, only time in my life I have sung it, yes there were one or two bears complaining but nearly all around me were singing it (and all were bears) after a brief "WTF!???!! but, yes, best of all the hitherto hidden tims were revealed by their utter bewilderment, not that there were many of them.
  17. That's a hard phrase to pull-off in a sarcastic tone, no?
  18. The thing is that they (the English media) aren't any good either, in fact, they are so dim that you wonder wtf is going on in the world ...but, but, but - they actually enjoy football. They want to talk about football things and so to them, it's, naturally, a big story. In their blessed innocence, they don't have a flying clue what it all means to the obsessed in "Free Royston". The contrasting coverage is yet another startlingly clear indicator of how f@cked up Scottish football is, I'm afraid, and this is an issue far deeper than Mr Steven Gerrard. It's totally f@cked and I don't see it ever recovering. The amount of utter, ill-founded pish that swirls around is heartbreaking (Israel-Palestine, ffs, by folk who couldn't point to them on a map)
  19. Being of an age when there was a real and proper rivalry = hopefully not Of course in those days the ultimate would have been a Scottish World Cup triumph which now is a repulsive, as well as ludicrous, concept
  20. How can we not? It's so unlikely that to not accept it would not be being supporters, but some other word. I know Souness won it in his first year but he was, I believe, as surprised by that as the rest of us, and he had a far better scenario than we now are facing. As we all know, it all went wrong the year after, showing how difficult accomplishing a revolution really is. I desperately want us to stop their tainted ten in a row bid, but I even more desperately want our club to become Rangers again and all that once meant before I head into total dotage and shuffle off this mortal coil. I'm more than prepared to be patient if progress is being made. What gets on my tits is that, thus far, we've exacerbated the crimes committed upon us by floundering about and making wrong choices and bad decisions for the last six years and have never had a clear plan for how we are to get back to where we belong. that worried, and still worries, the f@ck out of me.
  21. They are acting in the BT studio as though it has already been announced.
  22. Steve G admits that he'll be watching the BT Sports 2 Scottish games. "Much needed homework" said Lineker.
  23. https://twitter.com/greg_phtb/status/991388557070819328?s=21 Clip of what I tried to describe, previously
