Burning the bank statements more like..........

£3m per mth costs £10m in the bank We don't need to raise anymore cash. I'm no accountant, but that is some fucked up math.

A few games in the Europa league is hardly vital. Charlie was just bumping his gums as per.

The big difference from a playing point of view is the wage bill. How far away are we from affording a £30m plus wage outgoing? Everything else is just numbers on paper. They also have another 2 possibly 3 free shots at CL money. We need major investment just to become competitive again, that much is clear.

Nothing we can do about that, apart from enjoy the 3 away pumpings the will hopefully get. Every cloud and all that.

Good point. Kinda pointless taking this team into Europe at the moment. Two or three humpings will hardly be good for moral. Besides, we seem to be struggling to get one years accounts out in the open, nevermind three. Getting into a position to be competitive in the top league should be our only priority at the moment. Europe will come in good time if we go about our business in the correct manner.

I'm not sure when we were obliged to hold the AGM, but I assume it's a yearly event given it's name. If anything, the requisition has brought the AGM forward and given it a semi-solid date, so it's already served it's purpose in a way.

McCoist keen to bring Kenny Miller back to Ibrox

Aye I've watched him. He's a slightly more mobile KK. -

Deadly serious. Miller would be sitting on double figures if he had the game time Daly has had, so would Boyd for that matter. I just don't like the Daly type of player. Much rather have a Miller type any day of the week. Daly will be no use to us back at the top, much the same as Miller would be. I know who I would rather pay to watch. -
Ah, you're obviously one of these strange folk that just enjoy football. Enjoy the game.

I'd do a straight swap with Daly in a minute. Otherwise, it does seem a tad extravagant. -
Arguably our biggest game of the season tonight, if you take a long-term view of things.

Would another requisition even be required, given that the damage could be just as easily be done at the AGM? I assumed the requisition was more a statement of intent, as opposed to a necessity for boardroom change.

Besides bringing back Green as a consultant, and hiring Irvine for a dirty tricks campaign, Mather literally "bought" his job as CEO. As long as he still has a position of power at Ibrox, whether on the board, or as CEO, old Chucky's manky paws won't be too far away from the action. I want them all out. He will be easily replaced as CEO, and probably at half the price.

Our legal bills this last year or so would choke a fucking horse.
-
Unless I see the words come out of one of their mouths, I'm taking everything with a large pinch of salt. Although, I will be very disappointed if Mather comes out the other side of this with his job intact.

If Mr McColl bought the local football team, and started bleeding them dry, then I'm sure the locals in Monaco would have something to say about it. We, on the other hand, tend to welcome them with open arms, until the shit hits the fan. Why any Bear wouldn't want someone like McColl involved in the club is baffling. Even if he doesn't invest a penny in us, I'd rather have the contacts/potential investors in McColls wee black book, than the dregs that are in Greens. Your comment about a nationalist ex-pat controlling the direction of the club, just shows how detached from reality you are, and doesn't even merit comment.

Getting the leeches away from the boardroom is a decent enough starting point. What exactly do you want them to say? What have the current board told us about their plans, apart from their plan to fleece us to within an inch of existence again? -

First I've heard about Miller retiring. Least he went out with a peach against "them". -
Mather may not have written it, but it's singing his praises no end, so I'll assume he at least had the major input to it. I don't distinguish between any of them that had associations with Green. They all need chased away from the place asap. I'm not blaming Ally/Walter for anything, but their backing of Mather is the one thing in this that I can't get my head around. Going by Ally's record with regards to endorsing our custodians, I think it would be better if he just stayed out of it. It's only confusing an already muddled situation. If the dust settles, and Mather is still on the board, then Green will still have a man on the inside, that he no longer merits. It may be harsh on Mather, but we will easily find a new CEO, more than qualified to do his job, at probably half the price.
