The statement attributed to Mather via the club yesterday tells you what he's all about. It only causes confusion if on one hand, McColl and co are wanting him gone, and Ally/Walter are saying he's doing a good job. I'm starting to wish Ally would just say no comment when quizzed about board matters. Everyone thinks he's been a hero through all this, but he has to be aware just how much influence he has with the support. He backed both Whyte and Green to the hilt, and encouraged people to invest, and buy books, and look how that's turned out. As far as I'm concerned, Mather is tainted by Greens shite, and he can take his million notes and get tae. Anyone sitting on that board that just approved a years contract for Whytes mouthpiece, is a disgrace.

Ally and Walter have questions to answer with regards to their backing of Mather. A lot of our support are still backing Mather on the strength of this alone. It's getting beyond a joke now. Jack fucking Irvine getting a years contract? Did I read that correctly?

Jim McColl insists there will be no deal to keep Craig Mather
TheTinMan99 replied to the gunslinger's topic in Rangers Chat
It really is glorious watching McColl tearing these wanks a new one. The thing is, he's got the dough to back his mouth up, if needs be. He just knows he doesn't have to throw cash at them to get them out, and so do they. The AGM will be a bloodbath, and I can see the Easdales getting the bullet too, even if they are slipping under the radar a little.- 50 replies

It's crazy we're splashing millions of capital on ventures like this, when we don't even know if we have enough in the bank to see us through this season. Things like wi-fi and Edmiston house are the sort of thing we should be doing when we are on a stable footing. I can't help but imagine the true reasons for these "profit making" schemes. Nvm, we can check Facebook while we are supposed to be watching the game.

Mather trying to act the tough guy, haha. At least Green's big man act was moderately convincing. The irony of them pretending they are trying to save us a few quid. It was infact, the people that requested the EGM that have saved us extra money by agreeing to have two meetings in one. Anyone connected to the old Green/Ahmad regime has to go. That includes mather.

Analysis: is Blue Knight Paul Murray fighting a losing battle?
TheTinMan99 replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
The entire bidding process was nonsense, and I'm surprised you think any differently. Was what TBK put on the table any more ridiculous than Green and co's original offer if a CVA was successful? £9.5m, if i recall correctly, which was to be paid back by the club, with interest. How is that any better than the bid that Murray was involved in? Given what's happened since, I would rather have had the TBK, even with their CL conditions attached. If McColl is trusting Murray, that's good enough for me. The way he's taking the rap for the previous companies affairs is mental.- 119 replies

Point taken, but that's about as civil as I can muster, when it comes to people still defending the vermin that is Green/Ahmad. Charlie is about to take centre stage as Ahmad's star witness in a £4m lawsuit against us, and some still see no evidence of wrongdoing? Strangest case of 'Rangersitis' I've ever come across.- 119 replies

Murray could have put £5m up front and he still couldn't get exclusivity. Whyte was still pulling the strings at that stage, and he wouldn't deal with Murray. You are seriously the most deluded fellow I've ever met on the internet, and I was on RM for 6 months.- 119 replies

Imran Ahmad No Longer has a Notifiable interest in Rangers
TheTinMan99 replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
It means he's clearing the way so he can try rob the club of another few million. You don't need a business head to know what a scumbag him and green really are. -
I'll echo what you're saying now, about what you said back then. If JT wasn't on our payroll, this statement from the "club", would've been about him. If part of his remit is PR for the club, he is making a right arse of it.

Charlie the ventriloquist. Would be amusing if it wasn't so tragic. This is the equivalent of the iceberg telling the Titanic to rap it's pish. I understand why McColl doesn't want to just hand them millions, but I wish he would, just to get them to stfu.
-
Why was he even a member in the first place? Is the RST not for supporters? The idea of pooling the fans vote like this is a noble one, but it remains to be seen if the RST are the best vehicle for it. I think they will be doing well to get 50% of fan shareholders onside, but you can't fault them for trying.

I'm on page 3 of that thread on RM about Ahmad's kind donation to us. If you didn't laugh, you would cry.
