  1. The past? It was about 3 weeks ago ffs. I'll forget about it when the people that brokered this ridiculous loan are long gone, if that's ok with you.
  2. I think stb is probably too young to remember how Murray humiliated the yahoo's for close on a decade. It was almost worth going bust for.
  3. I'm less excited about war chests, than I am about the possibility of someone who actually gives a fuck about the club holding the reins. Even if King doesn't put a penny in, after the initial investment to gain control, you can be sure he wont be taking it out. It will make a refreshing change from the previous few years.
  4. Starts off saying no one defends the support. Then calls some of us 'demented' and 'gullible'. Classic VB.
  5. Of course you were....... Did Murray not back that up, by actually outspending them, probably by more than the £5/£10 ratio? I'll save you the trouble of saying 'aye, and look where that got us'.
  6. Aye, chucky and his £10m war chest for Ally. Memories........ The difference is, King actually has that kind of money.
  7. Wow. Man offers major investment.... Reaction on forum........Ally out. Mental. If he's prepared to put that amount of cash in, he's entitled to pick the team himself if he wants. Let's wait and see what Mr Wallace has planned. How many days has he got left of his grace period? King's played a blinder.
  8. How would you feel if Ally started dishing out lawyers letters to forums and Facebook pages? I'd imagine you'd be the first on here crying about free speech and your entitlement to an opinion. Some of the stuff that you and others say about him are much more damaging to his reputation and possible future job prospects. Ally takes it on the chin, because he's a man, and he understands that it goes with the territory. Apart from that, he knows that it's just not the right thing to do. Biting the hand that feeds you is never a good move, no matter what shite they post on the internet.
  9. I doubt I care much for the opinion of someone that only 2 weeks ago called our manager a c*nt. Maybe Ally's lawyer should have sent you a letter. It's not about an individual. Even this very forum has had several warnings from his lawyers. People like you that defend this crap give me the dry boak.
  10. Criminal laws are for the protection of all. Libel/slander laws are for the protection of the rich. I wish you would stop spouting nonsense about something you clearly know little about. Easdale can easily afford to lose such a case in court. For someone like Craig, it's just not worth the risk. How you see this as a bastion of fairness for all is crazy. I hope that the RFF steps up to the plate, because this is every bit as important as defending our titles. It's time we stood up against this constant threat of legal action from this piece of shit excuse for a custodian.
  11. A real man would use his spying account to defend himself, not threaten Bears with lawyers letters. I can see why Frankie has bowed to the pressure, but he would probably stand a decent chance in court against him. It's nothing short of financial bullying and a disgrace to the club. If he can't handle a bit of mild criticism, he shouldn't be in his position. The fact we have people trolling our forums is beyond pathetic.
  12. I think King got what he was after to be honest. A public assurance that they have a plan in place for major investment, and that our main assets wouldn't be used against any future loans. I think the season ticket thing was only a means to an end, it was never going to be workable. Even King realises that the current mob have the power sewn up, so he has to play a different game with them.
  13. Mutual consent, haha. Come on, how much have we payed off this time. Still glad they don't represent us in an official capacity anymore, no matter how much it cost.
  14. Most managers have awful cup records littered with dismal unexpected failures. It's just the nature of such tournaments. You could argue that keeky teeth has a worse cup record given the respective situations/resources. Saying that, some of those games were absolute torture.
  15. So protests should only be allowed if a so-called majority are in agreement? Don't be ridiculous. Most protest movements grow from a small number and get larger as more people wake up and smell the coffee. That's even assuming what you say is true, and it is a minority that are sick of it. Tax shy Dave, has put more cash in our club than VAT shy Easdale ever will.
  16. The kind of company that pisses away £40m plus to win 2 part time leagues. Oh I forgot, that wisnae them.
  17. Wonder why he's sticking his grubby head above the parapet......
  18. Wow, I had no clue the waiting list was so long. In fact, I didn't even think there would be a waiting list. I know it's not cheap, but we could probably spend a million and it would go a long way to slashing the waiting time. It's shameful this wasn't rectified during our so-called glory years.
  19. That is frankly disgraceful, considering how much cash we piss away every year. How much would it honestly cost to accommodate every disabled fan on the waiting list? It's not a cheap dig at the present lot, as it sounds like an ongoing problem.
  20. I actually think the board are struggling to handle King now, judging by the recent responses, and the one today from Easdale. He seems to have the bit between his teeth, and he hopefully wont stop until he has a major say in affairs. His comments about the person pulling the strings not being on the board were interesting, and most likely spot on. He needs to be on board before next season starts, and most probably before books are due. Now is the chance while the board are a little weak in the ready cash department. Our team rebuilding needs to start now. Expecting Ally to have a team ready to challenge in the top division with one transfer window is a big ask. If we start now, we might just have a chance at 'hitting the ground running', like he says. As much as I despise this current regime, I could accept some of them staying, as long as King was the one calling the shots. He simply must be backed by every one of us, even by the sceptical among us. This mob have had their chance. If they won't play ball, it's time we forced them to. The outrage with regards to this 'loan' has shown what's possible if the majority of us show disgust at what's happening.
  21. Hmmmm. I do wonder if this was the plan all along. Pretend to tap Laxey and Easdale. Outraged rich fan steps in with better offer. Million pounds to piss away, with a possible bumping in the post. I wouldn't trust them with a million of my dough, no matter how rich I was. I hope I'm just being too cynical, but nothing would surprise me. Whatever the fuck is going on, or whatever transpires in the coming days/weeks, it's without doubt a never ending pantomime, played out in public on a daily basis. Wallace's credibility is crumbling around his ears. It's not all his fault, but he's not doing a great job of steadying the ship. The fact his head is not being universally called for, is an indication of how used to it we all are. He's either a liar, or a buffoon. My guess is a mixture of both.
  22. Ordered him to fly to Scotland 3 days after he said he's coming? I really hope that isn't a direct quote from Somers, but my eyes couldn't cope with the small print.
  23. He should go and record the entire meeting and ask them directly why they took a loan on less than favourable terms than what was available. I feel it would be a very short meeting.
