As for rumours, Peralta, Clark and Humphries could be the next 3 in the door. After those 3, the only others linked that i have seen are Novo, Miller and Boyd. If we get those 6 i would fancy us for the domestic quadruple!

Hi guys, this thread has come about from a discussion on another thread and brings up a decent talking point i think. It is about fan ownership and whether you support it or not and whether you think it would work at Rangers.

Personally i am against it completely but it is clear some people think it would be a good idea, i am interested to hear their opinions on why they think that, who knows, maybe i can be swayed.

The reason i am against it is because i believe our fans are too fractured, i believe we have far too many fan groups and i believe we have too many people speaking on behalf of the fans who have no idea how the average fan on the street is thinking. I don't believe our fans as a whole could agree on so many important things which the club rely on. We have seen for the last few years how split our fans can be with their opinions on everything from Paul Le Guen and Eck to Walter Smith and Ally McCoist. We have seen it on trivial things like our song sheet and who should make our next kit or do the catering at Ibrox, the renaming of our training ground or even the stadium. There never seems to be any agreement on anything. I believe there are too many different opinions and not enough of a majority vote who please the support as a whole. I believe because of the infighting, disagreements and fractious nature of our support any fan ownership model would well and truly be the end of Rangers. I believe it is that serious.

I am a fan of the one man band, i am a fan of the David Murray style ownership, although not that man himself. I want a powerful man in charge. A man with Rangers at heart but with drive, desire, ambition and a knowledge of football.

Why is it damning? Chris is part of a group of fans who believe in fans representation and fan ownership. Why should that make him a target for abuse?

Fan ownership would sink us in a way HMRC, SFA, Craig Whyte, Celtic and the SPL couldn't. It's not an idea or concept i could or would support.

So is Chris Graham tainted now? Any association with the RST is pretty damning, is it not? The lad was doing so well too.

If I were Dave King I would wait a bit longer. If we're all on his side why don't we apply some gentle pressure involving season ticket cash?

Why would Park leave the riches of Celtic to come to a club with no scouting budget?

We definitely need defenders - probably the most important thing in football but if we have a cavalier attacking style in the bowels of Scottish football it wont be a problem where winning the title is concerned.

 

If we want the Scottish cup then it will be difficult to say the least.

Depends on the individual fans expectations. We needed defenders, 2 centres and a full back. I was more concerned about getting bodies out first and that hasn't happened yet either.

Eck took us to the last 16 in the Champions League where we were very unlucky, whilst our club was reducing an £80m debt and challenging Celtic for silverware. McCoist has done nothing as manager yet. I see no similarity whatsoever.

I thought the screens were a loan from the sponsors and what is the 12 on other staff? Surely not £12m in wages for non playing staff.
