Is anyone surprised? last week, on possibly his last ever home game as manager, on the day they lifted the championship* what was the thing that was first and foremost in his head? Rangers.

 

That's the difference between us and them; they measure themselves against us; we are their yardstick, they are obsessed by us, whereas we don't give a monkeys what they say or do.

 

(* like Roger Maris' home run record, every championship they 'win' while we're not there will have an asterisk beside it, )

Is this not a thread about..............what one of them has said? There are also similar threads on other forums too. Dare i say, our fans obviously do care what they say and do.

One more thing, where do we see these records with an asterix next to their name mate?

I think we will agree to let him go for free. I can't see anyone daft enough to pay a fee him to be honest.

Signing players on 1 year deals seems to be the way forward for the smaller clubs.

Shame too because that is no use to them if the player turns out to be good with no resale value.

A goalkeeper, 2 strikers and an attacking midfielder. Our defence is a shambles, that should be the priority.

As Aberdeen release 11 players the nightmare is about to unfold across all SPL clubs (except you-know-who) as they attempt to replace their released players with ones of a similar standard or better. That will be just about impossible as the players they'll be trying to recruit will be offered lower wages than the ones they're replacing as the clubs get used to having less money to share amongst themselves following the reconstruction /playoffs and financial redistribution farce. The SPL standard will undoubtedly plummet over the next few years.

He didn't last long did he? He never came across as the manager type to me. He was desperate to sign for us last year, i wonder if he still feels the same.

When I say he was always going to be a Rangers player is becauseI believe that Cammy Bell has been one of the standout keepers over the last few years in the SPL. Anytime I have watched Kilmarnock, Cammy Bell has been head and shoulders above his team mates.

But not quite good enough to always going to be a Celtic, Aberdeen, Hearts, Hibs or Motherwell player, just always a Rangers players? There have been numerous player excel in the SPL over the years, are they also always going to be Rangers players? I am thinking of guys like Lasley and Griffiths. Certainly closer to player of the year awards than Cammy Bell. It was a silly statement to make to be honest mate.

Was Maurice Ross and Hamed Namouchi always going to be Rangers players too? How can anyone say someone was always going to be a player for a certain club unless it is guaranteed jobs for the boys and not what you have but who you know?

A vastly over-rated manager. City could do so much better. Mourinho?

I don't think we will get back into Europe whilst Super Ally is manager.

I think our fans need reminded that we are no longer a Champions League participating SPL club. If not Bell, who else?

Under no circumstances should we even be entertaining keeping him on. It's like paying Buffon or Casillas £100k a week to play in the SPL. It's simply not needed. We could stroll division 2 with a young keeper or an experienced one a fraction of Zanders wages.
