  1. Excuse my ignorance lads, but who is Jim McColl?
  2. So when do we start calling him KING BILLY?
  3. Also, really interesting facts about our would-be owner. Good to hear some genuine facts from somebody who isn't pursuing their own pathetic agenda.
  4. I doubt(and I'm no expert) very much if such an intelligent and experienced money man like Mr Miller, wouldn't have done his homework on attaining a football club, especially a Scottish one. Anybody who has a modicum of knowledge of football(Scottish) knows there isn't a lot of money(profit) to be made. I think that's what makes Bill Miller's pursuit of our club interesting and a bit of a mystery. It's going to be an interesting few weeks, that's for sure.

    Concerns

Welcome Brian, I think there's still many questions that still need to be answered. There's lots of speculation and people claiming to have the inside track on what's going on. In truth, I think we're all going to have to bide our time, let everything run it's course and hopefully we'll be a little more wiser and confident that we're on the road to full recovery.
  6. McGregor(GK) McGowan(RB) Mulgrew(CH) Bocanegra(CH) Dixon(LB) Forrest(RM) Davis(MM) McCabe(MM) MacKay(LM) Hooper(S) Little(S)
  7. You would imagine that his bid is now unconditional, that some sort of deal/compromise has been been made between the two. Also interesting is the wording 'significant progress' in relation to Miller's bid, and the hope that the sale will be done by end of the season. All sounding positive....Here's hoping.
  8. Thank God, a step forward. A 5-0 win and preferred bidder named, all in less than 24 hours, jeezuz!! I'm almost tempted to go and buy a bottle of champers. NO SURRENDER.
  9. I remember when the scum got to the UEFA cup final in Seville, can't remember the headlines, but that rag spent more time ripping the p**h out of us rather than talking about the scum's achievement.
  10. Fair point mate. Opportunity has dictated most of these 'kill Rangers' activities. Firstly, SDM done nothing to put these hate filled hypocrites in their place and protect and defend Rangers and the fans. Secondly, CW has opened the door for these infidels to have their wee moment in the sun by putting us on our knees. Once we get through this mire, and I believe we will, these cowards will crawl back under their rocks, never to be heard of again. New man in charge will hopefully mean a new attitude and stance against these people.
  11. Staying in Scotland for me. Why? For purely selfish reason really. I absolutely LOVE the fact that we cast a massive shadow, whether succeeding or not, over the rest of the country. Whether it's the powers that be, other club's fans or the media, the level of bitterness and hypocrisy that we bring out of people is hilarious and to be fair, flattering. WE ARE THE PEOPLE and they all know it.
  12. Things just starting to look a wee bit rosier. Braw, just in time for me going back to work to face the anti Rangers brigade after a two week break.
  13. Just been on SSN that there's SEVEN interested parties. Also, and I apologise if this piece of info has already been mentioned. The administrators have had a 'fruitful' meeting with Brian Kennedy earlier on in the week. I know there's a lot still to happen yet(not all good) but it looks like we're at least starting to move(lumber) forward.
  14. Although hugely disappointed with a number of performances and results this season, domestic and Euro. There has been without question, quite a few mitigating factors. Ally's first season, lengthy injuries to key players, the sale of Jelavic and all the off pitch nonsense. Given all these points, I think it's only fair imo, that Ally be given a second season with a clean(er) slate. In saying that, I would like to think that Ally and Kenny would include analysing their own contribution come the end of the season. Tactics, team selection, training and man to man management and not put every poor result/performance down to the above circumstances.
  15. Although gutted that it's come to this, I really don't mind who leaves, as long as it helps us survive and puts us in a position to move forward.
  16. Although more than possible, I personally don't think we will. Ally and Kenny haven't shown me anything to suggest that they are capable of lifting the team enough to go on a run that will see us collect five more points than 'them' in the run-in. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm not that confident.
  17. Totally agree with chilledbear. The perfect example is Barca, without question, one of the best team's to ever grace a football pitch. One key component to their success is their is refusal to give their opponents any time or space with the ball. Given the fact we're not a particularly good football team at the moment, I think we'd be better served forcing mistakes out of our opponents, rather than relying solely on our lack lustre creativety.
  18. GA, you're not suggesting he's being played out of position.
  19. Although he's not really hit the ground running, i think he has decent technical ability. I personally think he would be more effective playing off the striker, he seems pretty adept at bringing others into the game, he looks very neat and tidy in a congested final third. IMHO he's never a winger, if indeed that was Ally's intented position for him, his obvious lack of pace makes him far too easy to defend against, hence the slowish start to his Ibrox career.
  20. Very, very poor. I hope it's not a case of start as you mean to go on. We finally have two natural wide players at the club, and the manager leaves one on the bench until the seventy fifth minute and plays the other one out of position, a tad bemusing. IMO, Lee McCulloch should only ever be on the park if we under the cosh and needing to give the back four protection, in Europe or protecting a lead at the piggery for instance. When you need a bit craft and energy in the middle, he should be last player you call upon. We've got two cracking young players in Ness and Hutton who imo, showed last season that they're well good enough to be trusted to do a job for us. All in all, a ropey start for Ally. This Bear hopes it gets a lot better soon. Oh yes, I nearly forgot, Whittaker......OH DEAR!!!
  21. Totally awesome. Shagger's penalty save from the greasy greek, special and massively defining.
  22. I wonder if he wrote a letter after his fellow scumbags had an anti-poppy/armed forces parade at an away game in November. An all-inclusive club indeed. I'm ecstatic you're hurting so much, ya bitter, lying wee b*****d.
  23. Wow, the beggars are in a good mood. Surely having a decent run of form. It's going to be really entertaining to watch them implode if their luck was to change.
  24. There's a chance he might be resting him, with AH just back from Scotland duty. Harry has one or two injury worries ahead of their massive CL game against AC Milan, so he's maybe protecting him. Although i'm still not convinced he's that good of a defender(awesome going forward)he's still more than good enough to play for Juve.
