  1. Which trophy do they get for that?
  2. Whilst under Allardyce's management, Everton were ranked 20th for total shots, 19th for total shots on target, 16th for passing accuracy and 17th for shots faced in the Premier League.
  3. Closely followed by Gareth Southgate. It's safe to say that managing England doesn't count for anything anymore.
  4. That's complete nonsense. Are you actually being serious here?
  5. All Alan Pardew needs is a crack at the top with City. Perhaps Moyes could get a go with Man Utd...oh wait.
  6. If Allardyce is so good it's a wonder Arsenal, Chelsea etc haven't been looking at him. The mediocre clubs he coaches are his level.
  7. 1. That’s nonsense. If a Liverpool player was seen in the Everton end there would be an outrage. 2. You really think there is any comparison to be made there with Durrant and McCoist? 3. He was recognised...
  8. A complete overhaul is exactly what’s needed. It can’t get any worse than finishing below Aberdeen so it’s time to start again.
  9. Above all else, mediocre Scottish league players like him should be nowhere near here in the first place.
  10. Yeah, we need a core of 5 or 6 quality players like the tims have. We don't have this and Murphy isn't such a player.
  11. I think McGregor is an upper English Championship/lower EPL level keeper. I'm sure he could easily get a game for anyone in England outside the top 6. The keepers we've been subjected to since he left are league 1 and below level. McGregor was a great keeper and I'm led to believe he's not lost a beat.
  12. Possibly me? It's a well known fact. It's a testament to how poor English football is outwith the top 6. The same crap teams keep employing the same crap managers. If mid to lower clubs in Italy, Spain, Germany etc had the funds England do, they'd be lighting hell on fire. This says it all: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/may/01/qpr-higher-wage-bill-than-atletico-madrid
  13. McCrorie looks great, but let's not put too much pressure on him. He'll be 2 games away from a hero or shite with our online support. Aside from him, Tav is talented, but blows extremely hot and cold, and if he had any consistency he'd still be in England. Candeias is a very solid performer, but not someone you build your team around. Rossiter is one class act I can see, but his legs are made of glass. Aside from that? McGregor is a start. P.S. agree on Clint Hill. He did a good turn.
  14. The referee cannot be blamed for our complete lack of quality all over the park. The ref is completely irrelevant. We are crap, but change is afoot.
  15. And just saw them as strangers. I'm sure most of you have felt this? like what the fuck are we actually watching here? I think now that we have McGregor, a keeper performing to a high level recently at a decent standard, we can now build for the future. I'm not entirely sure Arfield is the level we need, but I think Shagger is a good start.
  16. I think replacing every area of the pitch is a priority. Getting a top quality keeper is a start. We now have the best keeper in Scotland by a mile, which admittedly doesn't count for much.
  17. Wes can go back to League 1. McGregor is a top keeper.
  18. Great signing. Welcome back shagger and finally we have a keeper worthy of wearing the jersey again. It's a good start. Buffon shows that age is just a number for a keeper if they can keep fit.
  19. He won't struggle to find a job for another mediocre, struggling EPL side. And quite right too - as far as the merry go round of wildly mediocre EPL managers go, Big Sam is probably the best.
  20. Perhaps Ally's misfits withstanding, this is the worst Rangers side I have ever seen by a mile. As bad going forward as we are in defence. Failing to score in 4 out of 5 old firm games says it all. We really are brutal to watch and one can only hope things completely change under SG.
  21. As limited as he is, a guy who's just finished in the top half of the EPL is clearly leagues ahead of anyone we've had recently.
  22. He's done a job, but I can understand why they've got rid. He plays woeful football, they haven't been great under him and they need someone better to take them forward. Whilst he did finish 8th, one look at the teams below him shows this isn't that great an achievement. EPL - the most overrated league in the world.
  23. Lol people are reading way too much into this top scorer stat. Anyone who watches us can see we’re extremely poor in every area of the pitch. We are actually awful going forward.
