  1. Very few players from the SPL ever do well in England. Petrov was a world beater at Celtic but average at Villa. Cuellar did well at Villa but initially but faded away. Only Barry Ferguson to me stands out as someone who really held his own when at Birmingham he had a superb season. Jelavic is a complete failure. Most non old firm players end up in league 2 if they are lucky.
  2. I don't pay any attention to this general tit for tat shite but is this not the polar opposite of what this moron has been saying for the past year?
  3. Hutton has been dire since leaving us. Lambert is a quality manager.
  4. Their fans are all little idiots. I'm sure he's really scared.
  5. Puma is a pretty terrible make but I like the third kit. Hope we get Nike or Adidas back. I can't recall ever buying any Puma clothing aside from our kit. Have owned plenty adidas and nike stuff though,
  6. La Liga is the strongest league in the world by a mile (with Bundesliga after It). The best football is played in Spain too. Atletico were 2nd for most of last season.
  7. Gate sharing is an appalling, laughable idea. It would basically be the equivalent of a hard working man working all week then handing out half his wallet to some homeless, idiot junkie. Also, the old firm should be getting a far greater slice of money in the Scottish game. In other countries the bigger clubs get all the money and it makes them stronger for Europe. Here we can either have no decent sides for Europe or we can have potentially two. Out with the old firm, every team is atrocious and the best success any of them can ever hope for is getting past Barry Town in the first europa league qualifier.
  8. Yet these shysters actually put some cash on the table and bought us. As dreadful as they are they did something the other useless bastards couldn't
  9. I have no agenda here and respect you as you know but Paul Murray is a joke. I won't even bother explaining why. Basically what seems to have happened is Charles Green (shady bastard) and his pals (shady bastards) put their hands in their pockets (I;ll give them credit there) and Murray's old cronies (shady bastards) want a slice of the pie for free.
  10. Is it definitely just for this season do you think? I'm tempted to stick £50 on it....
  11. we got to 2 cl's. Overall Smith's record in Europe was abymsal, particularly in the first spell. We had 2 good campaigns and one too many Kaunas's and Gothenburgs.
  12. https://www.skybet.com/football/manager-specials/event/15294923?bsnls=1&bsopen=1&aff_id=9299 66/1 for no manager to leave. Presumably that's just for this season? Seems worth a punt?
  13. The debt went down because the bank took control, end of story! Walter spends whatever money is made available to him.
  14. ok sorry. We were being run wonderfully by the gallant champion David Murray and the evil tims at Lloyds pure had it in for us. And Der Berliner, I know you don't actually have me on ignore but I would recommend it because I have no interest in anything you have to say either.
  15. Yes, it is all a big conspiracy. Some big tim in the sky is plotting our downfall. Too much Leggat for you perhaps? Unlike what Leggat has probably fed you, Lloyds were not run by Declan O' Sheamus in a grand scheme to destroy us. Possibly they took control because they saw a company that consistently near bankrupted itself through horrific mismanagement and combined with the rest of MIH they saw an asset that could very easily stave off it's grave expenditure. It's a good fucking job they did take control. With Murray and Walter's spending we would have quickly hit the road to ruin. Again. PS - A lot of clubs did have a larger debt. Do they also play in a tin pot league with no hope of redeeming any money?
  16. Ironically Whittaker looked pretty good at centre back particularly against Celtic in the league cup final. He's the type of player that would probably have been far, far better if he was born in the likes of Spain and was able to benefit from their training methods and style.
