  1. Big Eck was a 'Rangers man' as a lad. Did that count for anything when he lost to Viktoria Zizkov in the CL qualifers, finished third in the league or lost to MON about 89 times on the trot? What we need involved in our club is ability, not sentiment. Who fucking cares who the players at Rangers support? Whether that can recite The Sash or not, it isn't going to help. Do the requistioners support us? Penniless Murray is said to be a Hearts man and old man McColl loves us so dearly that he watched us get liquidated. I would hazard a guess I have far, far more passion than the pair of those idiots combined and have invested far, far, far more across my life. But should I run the club? Actually, probably I should. I think i would be a huge improvement. I think any twat would. Both at coaching and board room level.
  2. People blow Wallace way, way out of proportion. You know there was a thread this week on whether he could become the greatest ever Ranger on RM? Absolutely mind boggling. He openly stated the only reason he stayed was because of his family, yet people portray him as a hero? He's a decent upper level SPL full back and no more. Anyone with less than 10 Scottish caps at the age of 26 is rarely a world beater. I would say Wallace is more of a steady Eddy whereas Whittaker is much more talented but blighted by severe inconsistency.
  3. Kyle Hutton struggles to make the bench in the third tier of Scottish football. Whittaker starts in the Premiership. Hutton will end up at someone like Aberdeen if he's lucky.
  4. It's funny. At the time everyone blamed poor performance and lack of signings on the bank being in control. Now some people have some recollection of that bastard Murray saving the day. Mind boggling.
  5. What's the weather like in Imagination Land at the moment? We seem to be omitting the part where Lloyds took control and enforced Donald Muir onto the board to sort out the mess.
  6. There is such a position. It's called wing back. I bet when he played for us you waxed lyrical about him.
  7. didn't like our kits at first but got the new third kit and reckon it's a cracker. Anyone find the sleeves are a bit tight/short though? PS - Noticed the shirt sizes go up to something like XXXXXL. WTF A large will do me and I need it for length not the beer belly!
  8. It was Everton. I can't recall this defensive lapse but he scored one and also put in a great cross for an assist. From the highlights he looked brilliant. Might not be popular but I haven't really seen much to make me rate Wallace that highly. On a good day Whittaker is capable of brilliance, Wallace isn't. You would never see Wallace tear through Sporting Lisbon.
  9. I'm not a huge fan of Whittaker as for every good game there are two or three terrible ones and his defensive lapses led to multiple goals getting conceded. But he has actually had a terrific start to this season and has probably been the stand out fullback in the BPL so far. (Early days obviously but has to be said)
  10. I'm not sure how other countries officiate things but I've always thought it is a conflict to be governed by a select group of individuals who already have a conflicting interest in events. That being said, other countries obviously do operate this way in some regard. I can't recall exactly who, but I think it is a Dortmund president/director who basically runs German football.
  11. I stopped reading here: He didn't successfully do anything. He ran up a huge unsustainable debt again so the bank took control and they alone brought the debt down by severely limiting our expenditure. That bastard gets no credit here. It's also worth adding that since Murray we have had two different ownerships, both of which are destructive and self serving, and there comes a point where we can't just blame 'The Man' and have to stand up and be accountable for our actions.
  12. When I can get proper sleep I'll write a detailed complaint to this nonsense. I would put this down as a parody article. The type you sometimes see on the likes of the Herald and Telegraph sites but the first part of the story shows this rabid Declan isn't joking
  13. I normally don't give a shite what the media say and laugh at people getting irate but I'm going to complain about this tharrier cunt later Google him and look at his Celtic articles. Dirty felt up bastard
  14. Is this not a parody article? Surely/ I mean i'm no Ally (the manager) fan but come away to fuck!
  15. Probably his level. Was never very good to begin with. Had Eck continued with him through the middle he might have developed as a quality striker (hit 25 in 03/04 then the same in 04/05) but Eck was a moron who didn't even play Shota Arveladze through the middle. Shota went from scoring 6 SPL goals with us from the left flank to being the top scorer in Holland the next season and firing AZ to the title
  16. Have our 'lawyers' ever carried through any of their intent? On one count I imagine they are much like our scouting network (nada) on the other I'm afraid they carry through with their intent and get a fat 300k bonus for their efforts like the rest of the misfits on our boardfor doing diddly squat. ho hum, at least we have Murray era throw backs to look forward to eh?
  17. Neither has your wish for the ill conceived shared ownership structure which constantly fails. For every Charles Green I raise you a Craig Whyte. It is utterly irrelevant who the game players support. They are all a bunch of useless shites.
  18. Ajax who play in europe every year, won 3 in a row under a superb manager and sold the likes of Eriksen and Vertonghen for decent money in the past couple of seasons. Light years ahead of us. Far better run than 99% of the Premiership
  19. They have a focus a basic philosophy of playing football the correct way which immediately sets them light years ahead of us.
  20. Looks like our new board will now comprise the current chumps with a convicted fraudster and his brother thrown in, plus two throw backs to the dire Murray days. If Carlsberg did ideal football board members, what we have would probably be the opposite of that. It seems that we're relying on sheer luck or the law of averages in hoping we end up under the control of the correct people. You look at clubs like Dortmund, Ajax etc that have a very intelligent infrastructure in place with advanced youth development, scouting, coaching, tactical ideology and then you look at us and you just despair.
  21. I don't know why people still bother posting Leggat's articles on Rangers forums.
  22. Unlike the rest of the chancers, our largest shareholder Sandy Easdale is actually a convicted fraudster that was sentenced to over 2 years in prison.
