  1. here........I don't see anything wrong with it. But playing half decent football would be my first wish after winning the league. We aren't going to improve in the long term until we start playing football correctly and we are nowhere near.
  2. I reckon we could lose 15 games on the bounce and he probably wouldn't be sacked. I mean lets be honest, it's been clear for 2 years now he's a shite manager but he has the job because of who he is. Plus we have about 30 owners fighting with each other who would never agree on what to do.
  3. Why did we use trialists in the inferior competition against weaker opposition?
  4. Has there ever been an occasion where Forlan has been wrong and you have been right? I would be stunned if so.
  5. The sky sports iphone app usually has auto generated random lineups for teams so players are in strange positions. Ally should maybe use it to pick his team, might be an improvement
  6. Bring the defender into midfield while in attack? Why come up with these silly ideas when playing Forfar in the league cup? What happens when Forfar attack on the counter and we're left with one centre half with no pace? Is it so difficult to just play a logical formation against poor opposition like this eg 4-2-3-1 with 4 attacking players and two deeper midfielders or even just a 4-4-2? Here's a novel idea. Have the defenders play in defence, the midfielders play in midfield and the striker(s) play as striker. Ally doesn't have the tactical ability to deviate from that so why does he bother.
  7. 4-3-1-2 with a midfield three containing Mckay and Black playing on the right of it? I really think we could do a lot worse than follow 90% of the rest of football and just play a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3. Or even a plain old flat 4-4-2. Ally certainly likes his out dated formations.
  8. I don't recall Tesco's going through administration and a liquid process last year either. Our board should be transparent.
  9. wonder what the excuses will be this year
  10. If they couldn't raise a few million to buy us a year ago, what chance do they have now? And why bother
  11. How many times in the past 10-15 years have we beaten Premiership teams? We beat a poor Fulham side 1-0. I seem to recall us beating Man Utd in my younger years through a David May own goal but that was many moons ago and I think it was a testimonial.
  12. At least the tims will have plenty to laugh about now that green is back.
  13. I wish some competent person would just buy us outright and be done with it. I don't want any con men like Murray or Whyte running the club and I certainly don't want this shared ownership shambles of a model we currently have. I knew this would happen. We have too many egos, opinions and self interest with no clear vision and it's embarrassing.
  14. It says a lot when I saw a glimpse of Ferguson at the back there and got a semi that he might be coming back
  15. What we were specifically reprimanded for? What have Hearts been specifically reprimanded for? We weren't reprimanded for the same things, but someone on RM said that one part of the counts found us reprimanded more severely than Hearts. please advise. This 'we got such and such for the same thing' argument is making us look a bit foolish. Let's conjugate an accurate argument. The press statement failed to address this.
  16. Who ? Another one to join the TBK posse with barely 2 bob to string together.
  17. He should emulate Moyes far sooner than Smith to be honest. I reckon a potentially talented young manager like Weir should head abroad and learn his trade.
  18. Hopefully he omits the bizarre stories about d**** Johnson and his p*** mate this time eh? Heavens above. My 4 year old nephew would know he'd get sent to the naughty corner with no Angry Birds for a day if he even dreamed of saying such ignorant baloney. Did Green purposely say those words in an article (disregarding the context) to help him get the heave ho? Anyone that works in a corporate environment like I do knows that everything outlayed to the public is scrutinised. How did this make the papers? It MUST have served a purpose to purposefully paint Green as the pantomime villain. Or else we are incapable from top to bottom.
  19. GS - I have respect for you as you know but how can you define these muppets that ultimately placed a tin pot bid involving latter participation of the champions league? There's more chance of pigs flying than that happening? They are tinks and idiots
  20. Jim McColl could fart out more money than my whole bank balance contains. Any Rangers man with significant income who literally allowed our club to see a demi-death doesn't deserve the time of day. Nobody of wealth with our interests at heart came to the table. All we got was Charles Green seeking money but he deserves credit for at least coming in.
  21. No. He actually was offered it but The Undertaker came in and chokeslammed him through the table. Just after that Stone Cold Steve Austin came in and stunnered the Undertaker. Then out of nowhere the lights went out and in came Paul Heyman aka Charles Green
  22. Makes sense. Paul Murray attracts a lot of folk with barely two shillings to rub together. Mind, the 'money men' like Kennedy and McColl have probably even less interest in investing serious money in us.
  23. Bluedell was offered to be Director of Finance in the 80's/90's at Rangers I believe. If you think there's a chance of us hearing very little from him in his new role then I worry for you! His Paul Heyman routine is his USP
  24. Not long after Green disappeared, there seemed to be a lull in the 8 tabloid stories a day of leaks and shitstorms. As soon as he is on the scene the whole thing starts again. I'm not exactly sure what there is to be positive about us going forward. We have a poor squad playing terrible football with abysmal tactics. The only way to remedy this is for the club to have a solid foundation from the board room with infrastructure put in place to develop intelligent and expansive coaching, youth development and scouting. But here we have another example of our board trying to emulate a Big Brother/Harchester Utd hybrid with Charles Green aka Paul Keyman slap bang in the middle of it.
