  1. the other one is they're never in the middle of anything, they never own the stage, which is obviously the issue at Rangers, may not be such bad news if they had the financial capability at Rangers, but they need funding from elsewhere.
  2. this may have been said before and I've seen a few administrators messages similar to this before, but when have we had a Board or even a management team, where we worried about criticising performance at any level, without possible court level consequences? it does show that this is, genuinely, the most worrying period of our long history and that worry has been sustained over the last three years, please let it end.
  3. well given we know that he is only after making more money he's not going to stop selling their tops because he is in virtual control of our club and the last time I was in Sports Direct their tops were on display.
  4. that is a great picture, never thought I'd look back at pictures like that and think what a good player Shota Arveladze was and how we miss that kind of quality. Also reminds me of a pre-season friendly against Fulham in London and standing in a pub beer garden when the Rangers coach came along the road and all the fans start signing a Rangers song and Alex Rae jumping out of his seat, banging on the window like a nutter and signing the song back at the fans, cannot remember which song, but great moment to see how passionate he was to be a Bear.
  5. I think the view to people outside of our support might be differently perceived to how our fans view Ashley. I'm sure that will be the case in some quarters. I'm no fan of Ashley, but given his potential financial muscle some septic fans may see him as a threat to their current domination.
  6. ironic we're debating where Mar Hall is located in comparison to where Sports Direct Stadium will be.
  7. The only point I will disagree on is Murray at least tried to chase an on pitch dream, which we all shared in, financials yes, a fuck up. but would rather have that now than what we have.
  8. good point, at least with the previously erosive, internally corrosive 'leaders' we've had to deal with, they tried to blind us with promises and good intentions but ashley has such little regard for our fans that he thinks he can feck us over without uttering a sentence/word. it says it all for me that he is a fat fucker leading a sports company, so image and profile is nothing, it is all about profit. That is my personal opinion.
  9. Not much to be frank, but I support Dave King's efforts. Certain elements he has little control over, I also don't see much wrong with meeting with as many people as possible to better understand the lay of the land, including the Easdales.
  10. The guy lives in South Africa, that is where his business interests exist, that is what gives him the cash to be the only real opportunity to release our Club from the clutches of shisters and self interested profit makers. At the moment no one else is offering us a better alternative. Easy to knock Dave King, but that is all we seem to be interested in, as a support at the moment.
  11. Also think about the positives and not the negatives, difficult to get through life just focussing on that side of life. will never forget being in the Madrigal, after a crazy game at Ibrox thinking we had little chance and watching a great goal from the enigma Lovenkrands and thinking we could make it to the last eight, they equalise and then, my middle age mind now forgetting, our Scottish CF of the moment, missing a late sitter, which would have taken us into the last eight. It'll come to me in an hour or so, but Eck was a good man, he did inherit a team, was the first of the stream lined budget managers, he brought us some great memories. Hope it goes well Big Man, a true Ranger.
  12. the advance of technology has enabled great opportunities for intelligent and incisive, fellow fans, comment, on forums such as this one. would rather swap comments here amongst like minded fellow Bears than read poison from others in the printed sheet.
  13. agree that the Club should (start to) speak to the fans, but can't see the newspapers selling much print with pages of quotes from the fans.
  14. Andros Townsend, went out on loan to a number of clubs, including QPR, came back, into Spurs 1st team and then selected for England.
  15. can't imagine this will be successful, but if the EU is providing bailouts to countries who are financially impoverished and then the governments, both national and local within those countries, are using that money to finance their football teams, then the imbalance between two of Europe's most successful football teams is being financed by the tax payers within more stable economies such as the UK and that surely cannot be right?
  16. sorry, probably a very stupid question to the initiated but what do the Board/TJ have to gain from discrediting MD, he's not an influencer in respect to swathes of share voters is he?
  17. one of my sons plays football against a team there, need to seek out the pub next time, lovely place Moreton.
  18. just on the thrust of it; thought Lahm is/was one of the best attacking full backs of modern times and am not convinced he is as effective as a defensive midfielder. as for the article; gratuitous language to make up the word numbers into an article that fills a page.
  19. cost us nothing and gives us plenty.
  20. that's the kind of shit that happens in North Korea, where all the kids look as if they could be related to Neil Lennon.
  21. was in the old Wembley as well, Scotland v England, a few times, the new Wembley is a much better ground, no comparison.
  22. isn't Jim McColl a fan first and a shareholder (however many shares he holds) second, he's the kind of fan I want on the club board.
  23. they only got s £42k fine from UEFA for the CL flag embarrassment, it must have been perceived by the septic board as a mild fine as their comment was that they were 'disappointed; with the fine. Think what they meant to say was 'thank feck'
