Don't think he's talking as a spokesman, more as a fan. Far too much of these boardroom travails are being exposed in public, which is just manna to the anti-Rangers agenda. None of this is positive, how can any of these people be friends of the Club, if they were then they would understand that drawing on the media to help their personal agenda is about money and not about the well being of Rangers Football Club and their legions of fans.

Dave Smith is on the edge of my memory, but in modern day terms would he be more of a defensive midfielder than an out and out central defender, my vague memories are more of him being very comfortable on the ball, could beat a man and lay off a pass than being someone who would compete in the air and put in fearsome tackles, CB? We have had a luxury of talented players over the years, one person, who has featured, and I think is one of the best players to ever wear a Rangers strip is Giovanni van Bronkhorst. Could play multiple positions, rarely had a bad game, could score from most areas.
