  1. his feelings are an accurate portrayal of how I feel about our Club, currently and I'm sure plenty more feel the same. It is painful to read and hear all this crap. Don't think he's talking as a spokesman, more as a fan. Far too much of these boardroom travails are being exposed in public, which is just manna to the anti-Rangers agenda. None of this is positive, how can any of these people be friends of the Club, if they were then they would understand that drawing on the media to help their personal agenda is about money and not about the well being of Rangers Football Club and their legions of fans.
  2. think he will be a great manager but, in context of tonight, they played against 10 men for 78 minutes. good start though.
  3. he played against Colin in that 3-0 victory at Ibrox, like wise remember it very clearly, the 2nd was a floated header back across goal as I remember, at the Copland Road end, and we all rose as it headed towards the top of the net, not 100% certain if it was going in or not, but sure enough in it was. Was great to see him go up to Tom afterwards and shake his hand, no brotherly embrace, still Rangers v septic, we didn't beat them often and by that much in those years. great day.
  4. mention of the end game, no chance, this is like a book where you think you've reached the end and then you turn over and there is another surprise chapter, and it continues onwards and onwards and your never actually reach the end. it means we're constantly in the news for the wrong reasons, the fans suffer, we get continual bad press, because they love turning the screw, wish they'd all feck off and just leave things as they are. don't believe Green is around for 100% positive reasons, but whatever you think of him he is rocking the boat.
  5. wouldn't that be a police call as opposed to a Council call, and the police are happy, for a change!
  6. Dave Smith is on the edge of my memory, but in modern day terms would he be more of a defensive midfielder than an out and out central defender, my vague memories are more of him being very comfortable on the ball, could beat a man and lay off a pass than being someone who would compete in the air and put in fearsome tackles, CB? We have had a luxury of talented players over the years, one person, who has featured, and I think is one of the best players to ever wear a Rangers strip is Giovanni van Bronkhorst. Could play multiple positions, rarely had a bad game, could score from most areas.
  7. glad he didn't get away, recommendation from Paul Sturrock as well!
  8. good to hear the appreciation of the Rangers support tonight and also thanks to Zappa for the updates, couldn't find them on the RFC site so only connection to the game tonight.
  9. anything to be read into Mohsni starting on bench and Lee Mc in c-d? Minimum suggests that they're struggling to agree terms, which is a pretty obvious statement as he's not yet a Bear.
  10. looks like Neil Lemon, but don't they all, in breds!
  11. think their Chief Executive is doing plenty; scoured the press for comments on their behaviour at Griffin Park, hardly a mention. SSN ran a few reels yesterday and commented on their pathetic performance, but the Scottish press, who must somehow be intimidated, under some kind of legal threat, to comment by Lawless, not a mention. I am not one for paranoia, but you do have to ask yourself the question that if it had been us would the press have been so uninterested?
  12. precarious situation; agent knows that SW game will provide a lot of interest to Championship and top end div 1 teams in England, so Rangers need to confirm a deal before the match or else he is lost, therefore agent can push Rangers for more cash. we could easily end up losing this guy, see how good Ally and Mather are at playing poker.
  13. not sure it can be viewed as being sectarian, anti-Rangers possibly.
  14. excellent, a man for detail, unlike the majority of the Scottish media who would rather ignore that, continue their lethargic, desk bound life and write crap, whilst pulling a wage.
  15. sorry went to watch the updates on the RFC website, but El Duderino is the best choice of the trio. as for fat coaches; Ally was packing it on before he came back as Rangers manager, Kenny has packed it on as empathy to Ally, but Durranty and Stewart still look in decent shape.
  16. Your Dudeness, Hutton wasn't even on the bench according to team announced?!
