  1. John is a true Rangers diehard, but a Henry Kissinger he isn't. And he failed Swiss Finishing School as well. :P Good match for the Easdales.

Good! Gloves off and get in to them.

  2. Awesome ? Hardly.

Nothing has changed. King and T3B still need a majority of votes to make it happens.

One thing we should ALL have learned over the last 3 years is that nothing is guaranteed when it comes to Rangers.

    This.

For me it's more hope than expectation. So many let downs have taken their toll.

  3. The position ashley is in with the SFA is a precarious one. I expect him to be found guilty throwing his position into doubt. dont think the bad guys expected McCoist to fail so badly either. chuck in goldy locks and the three bears all buying shares and all of a sudden whatever shady plans the had for Rangers have gone up in smoke.

they havent quite grasped the fact that the fans will not accept Ashley and co under any terms and still try to hang on for dear life.

They are in no position to bargain at the moment. They have nothing to offer. Judgement day will come when the SFA threaten to relieve us of the privilage to play football and take away our licence.

Are they though really that stupid that they will take things that far? I fear the answer to that question will be yes.

This scares me. They have no love for the Club. No history as supporters. They thought they could buy respectability by buying a Rangers blazer.

They have had their fingers well and truly burned.

What damage can they inflict before their ignominious departure?

  4. Think ashley thought we would be the same as the thick geordies. Turn up in our thousands (barebellied in winter) week in week out , loyal to the core and accepting whatever shite was served up.. sorry mike but we are a slightly more discerning clientele...

Out of order disparaging NUFC fans in that way. No need at all.

Great club, great fans with an uncaring, self-serving regime in the boardroom. Ring any bells?

  5. thank you Capitalist bastards who are 'Gers men

thank you Lawell and the SFA for actually caring about our club

    There is a god...(even though I'm an atheist !)

Not sure your second thank you has any thing to do with caring about our club. More likely to do with the stagnation of Scottish football (less income) and empty seats at the girodome.

  6. Brentford are a Club who through foresight, persistence and good management are punching above their weight and with a new stadium now approved and the ambition to seek out future international stars like Mcleod will continue to improve.

It would be no surprise to see them in the EPL in the next season or two, where as a London club they may well attract significant new investment.

Whether they could retain a place is another matter but I am sure they it a won't be for the want of trying.

    Compare and contrast. .........

    Wow!! I'm speechless.

  7. The Easdales are allegedly ******** involved in all sorts of ********* activity. They are a critical part of the problem, not the solution.

I'm no fan of them mate but you may want to cool your jets.

They are known for threatening good Bears with legal action.

Just sayin' don't give them the opportunity.

  8. I would take a billionaire sugar daddy like Chelsea, Man City and United have in England long before anything right now.

All across Europe we have teams notably from Eastern Europe run by Billionaires with fans following in their droves, watching seriously clever players in packed stadiums with total tv exposure.

In my lifetime, football clubs, and how they are run has changed dramatically over time. Spain, Germany, England and even Russia have total control of all things good (or bad) in football. The days of an 'honest' football club operating in today's world are long gone. The idea of Rangers being or at least trying to enter that elite fills me with some degree of hope.

I want our club to be part of that elite once again. We have a far wider fan base than any other club in the world and if the the right people come in regardless of their greed then we should accept that.

Our club has the potential to feed the 'Hobbiest' as well as the fans, and make it's mark once again. Only a pessimist would disagree with that.

Mike Ashley grabbed Newcastle United to promote his business empire, and it worked, it's Newcastle United ffs!

If Ashley wants to take on the Rangers it's because he believes it may well be the biggest thing he's ever took on in his life, and possibly his most rewarding. We are a sleeping giant.

I'm looking forward to very prosperous times in the the future. It is just round the corner somewhere.

Edit: This is Bearmans view not necessarily yours.

  9. The level of enmity amongst certain fans disgust me... there seems to be an inability to accept that different people have different opinions ...beyond my comprehension infact ...

Why on earth would you want to turn down investment from Rangers men in favour of hedge funds or dodgy speculators ...

Petty rivalry, out and out hatred and large numbers of dented egos.

And a huge chorus of - It Should Have Been Me

  10. One thing about ourselves that we should all recognise: whether it is Paul Murray, Mark Dingwall or Chris Graham - when people speak out about Rangers matters publicly, they attract a level of hatred from within the support that crushes sound judgement.

A hatred of them becomes greater than a love of the club.

    So true.

The hatred expressed is poisonous yet unexplained.

Jealousy would seem to be a big factor for quite a few who fancy themselves as Uber Super Bears.
