Good article, but the one from last week (was it from the Herald?) which stipulated that Lennon was/is a very sick man and that Celtic were culpable for recruiting him as such was a excellent nail on the head moment.
Any chance you could post a link please?

You would have thought they would have been there!,you know to show how much they outnumber the ones that are anti board!
I don't see anybody having a go at answering my question, probably they know that my next question would be along the lines of... Why don't the pro board/faceless investors have a rally? Then we could genuinely compare the turnouts.

Wonder how many would turn out for a pro board/faceless investors rally?

Airlines routinely overbook each plane journey by a few seats. Why? because the chances of 300 people getting to the same place at the correct time, never happens. Anybody who thinks our support will ever stand together as one, on any issue is kidding themselves on.
I'm glad we have different fan groups. What would help is like political parties if we knew what each one was about.
If each faction had a top ten most important things, that they believe in then people could come together better, and we would know where we stand and what everybody agrees on.

Hopefully Ferguson retires & that 1 is a moot point. As for Ferguson as manager, no thanks.

Out of contract former Rangers XI: Alexander; Broadfoot, Cuellar, Bougherra, Bardsley; Burke, Ferguson, Thomson, Lovenkrands; Boyd, Miller

Interesting I would take 3. Cuellar, Lovenkrands & Boyd.

I couldn't disagree more mate.
Cool. I'm just thankful for small mercies. Happy to agree to disagree.

I agree with all of that except being glad about having Ally involved in our darkest hours.
Fair enough, if I could've picked a Rangers man to be at our club I would've picked someone else, but threw all this shit at least we've had someone who we know has our club in his heart.

We will win the Championship without Boyd and Miller mate. I want them back, don't get me wrong but only because i am a desperate fool, i am possibly at my lowest ebb of following and supporting Rangers. I know it's wrong, i know it will keep Ally in a job longer and paper over our cracks but i still want them signed. Not as much as i want the manager replaced right enough.
I boak a wee bit at Miller, only because of his age. As we know Boyd scores against fodder for fun, and to be fair to him I feel he has grown up a bit since he played for us.
As a Rangers goal scorer Ally is a legend. As a man i'm glad he has been involved threw our darkest hour... but as a manager I don't think he has it. With all my heart I hope he proves me wrong. Boyd would i'm afraid paper over the cracks.

Not a fan in general of re-signing former players, but if we take Boyd back we win the league, irrespective of how Ally sets the team up.

GRAHAM Wallace is on the ropes after claiming calls for a season-ticket boycott have plunged Rangers into a credit card crisis.
Record Sport has seen documents that show payment processor First Data told the stricken club they wanted full security in return for their services as early as January 23 this year.
That flies in the face of claims from Wallace in the club’s 120-day business review, published yesterday, that threats of a season-ticket snub cost them the key financial service.
Dave King first called on fans to snub season-ticket sales on February 26, more than a month after First Data raised their concerns about the financial position of the club.
They informed Rangers they were uneasy at the state of the club’s accounts and negative publicity at the time around talk of wage cuts for players.
First Data added they were uncomfortable providing the facilities on anything less than a “fully secured” basis and proposed withholding all season ticket sales for 2014-15.
At no point in their correspondence with Ibrox bosses on January 23, circulated between senior staff including Wallace and ex-finance director Brian Stockbridge did they mention fears for a season ticket snub – because those calls had yet to be made.
But Wallace told fans and shareholders in his review: “The board believes one of the major factors influencing the merchant acquirer to change its terms was the extensive negative coverage of calls in some quarters for supporters to refrain or delay purchasing season tickets.”
The revelation is set to strain further the relationship between the board and Rangers fans who will be angry they were being asked to renew season tickets when the club knew the facility to pay by credit card was in serious doubt – and had been since January.

Summing this "business review" up in two words they would be "subterfuge" and "blackmail".

Taking bonuses, while paying people off. Wish I was surprised by that, I'm not, just saddened. 70 million wasted again not surprised. Now what do we do, give them more season ticket money and more from another share thing or starve them out? Either way we risk the club we love.

I agree there has been plenty of time for somebody or a group of wealthy fans to buy us. King looks like the only one. SDM back would probably kill me.

Most of us wouldn't care if we lost money out the deal. I understand why nobody bought us when the BTC was hanging over us, but now?

Fair enough regarding Mccoll. What about others? Any of us had the money we would buy the club, threw time there is no way you wouldn't get your money back.
0 -
Why can't a rich Rangers man King/Park/Mccoll/whoever buy all the shares, then sell the shares to us? Sorry if that's a bit simplistic, I know nothing about this level of finance.

Can only remember him playing for Dundee utd, but echo the sentiments, sad news. He was part of that cracking side that got to the UEFA final in 1987-88 and knocked out Barcelona.Think you're wrong there, Gribz. He joined us from Dundee. The Utd. side in Gothenburg was Sturrock, Narey, Milne, John Clark...
Redford played against Barcelona
Barcelona: Zubizarreta, Migueli, Gerardo, Víctor Munoz, Roberto, Moratalla, Manolo, Caldere (Urbano 87), Marcos Alonso (Rojo 67), Lineker, Hughes.
Goal: Caldere 40
Dundee United: Thomson, Narey, Holt, Hegarty, Clark, Malpas, Redford, McInally, Sturrock, Gallacher, Ferguson
Goals: Clark 85, Ferguson 89
