  1. How dare you make such an accusation! Oh, better watch myself, i'm going off topic again - i'll get rebuked!
  2. Thanks for putting that pic in Pete, i had absolutely no idea what a Hippopotamus was
  3. I was thinking that yesterday too ..... i wasn't really a fan of Clement, but he did get himself involved more than Hemdani does at times. Hartley going forward, with Fergie anchoring the midfield and pulling the strings sounds quite good!
  4. Aye, maybe i should have made it clear, but i'd like Sebo to start with Boyd just to freshen it up a bit Boyd will never do much work outside the box, and i don't really care about that, you need another striker to compliment his style ..... but get it in the box for him, and he will score. Problem is, we rarely did that yesterday, and part of that problem is our wide players!
  5. I do remember that, Craig, it was fantastic effort from Novo to get back like that ..... what he lacks in quality he certainly makes up for in effort I think if Sebo does more work outside the box it wouldnt bother me, as you need someone to do that in a strike pairing, and you aint gonna get that from Boyd, so they might compliment each other ....... i was amazed by his pace yesterday too ... 'curly wurly' might look like a wee dumpy thing, but boy can he run!
  6. Exactly ........ we never played the guy as an out and out striker, always played him out wide!
  7. Can't argue with much of that, Gribz It is the flanks that have let us down all season, kinda reduces us to having 2 guys in midfield at times! Adam tries his best, but he just isn't up to it, Sionko is guff, and Burke isn't consistent enough, and lacks the decent final ball As for up front, well i think Boyd WOULD be the answer if we got enough balls into the box ...... we just aren't creating for the guy, and like you, after yesterday, i'd be liable to give Sebo a start next game
  8. I have no problems with that reason, Gazza
  9. It's always difficult to argue with the truth!
  10. Gambling? Tsk tsk, a mugs game
  11. Hmmm, don't know if i'd really want PL back, but we do seem very short of decent left sided players ...... Adam is just so one paced and slow, and it shows!
  12. I despair at our support at times, Gribz ....... we keep mumping about how Celtic fans are, but the truth is that so many of our fans are stuck in the past!
  13. Big Ugo won everything in the air today, a good sign ..... he was sometimes a tad uncomfy with the ball at his feet, but he is still getting used to: a) playing b) our tattie field c) Scottish football!
  14. As far as im concerned he had one good game at the start of the season, and that's it .... for fucks sake even Capucho was better!!!!! Nah, sorry, im just in from Behind the Wall and im talking shite
  15. Well said Davy! If people don't wish to go back to Ibrox because we sign Hartley, then good riddance to them ...... it's part II of the Mo Johnston saga - we rid the club of a lot of bigots then, and hopefully we will do the same again Regardless of what Hartley has said and done in the past, remember ..... WE'RE BIGGER THAN BIGOTRY! Let US be the shining example here, and let's not harp back to the dark ages Neil McCann was clearly a tic fan, but he was bloody great for us in a Gers jersey as far as im concerned, and if Hartley does the same, then that's all that matter to me!
  16. Aye, i take that point ...... 31 i suppose is hardly ancient, and he is a proven player and a decent midfielder even if some people on here will never admit it Maybe Watty also knows something about Brown and Thomson ... maybe we just (sadly!) CANT compete with the mhanks for their services! If we get a million to get rid of that Sionko donkey, then i guess it wouldn't be bad spent on Hartley!
  17. So we don't sign him cos he's a 'begger bastard' ??? Is it 2007 or 1901? Also, it's Smith signing him, so why this is Murray's fault baffles me too! Taking that nonsense aside, i think he's a good midfielder, but given his age, i'd much rather pump that money into getting a younger player like Brown ... i'm not sure if our club in it's current financial state can go spending 'dead' money (no chance of getting anything back!) of £1M to £1.25M on a 31 yr old!
  18. Wasn't involved again today ....... so i think it's another case of 'if there's a bid, take it!!'
  19. The guy is absolutely fucking rotten!!! I'd bite the hand off any bid ........ let him go!
  20. I'm quite happy to see Burke stay, but he really needs to put a consistent run of good form in now ..... the odd good game isn't good enough As for staying on topic, i will be watching all other threads attentively from now on
  21. EDIT: Stay on topic please.
  22. Of course it was ..... some fans still can't see this though!!
  23. Probably, but then Scottish football is shit, and no one will ever really achieve anything here! However, compare him with other people who came in to use us as a stepping stone, say Van Bronckhurst! Chalk and cheese .... Gio had the correct attitude, passion, played for the club, and his performance were outstanding, way above the average (IMO!) Clement! Sure, Gio moved on to the bigger stage, but was always appreciated by the fans ....... garbage like Clement will soon be forgotten for the sneaky little cunt he is! Oh it's nice to be back and not mincing my words!!
  24. Glad to see Clement go to be honest! Hemdani can do the job just as well if not better, Clement has only struck me as being average, and given his comments since PLG left, then this is the kind of player we can do without. If he wants to take the typical French way out, stick his tank into one of the many reverse gears, and reverse all the way back over the channel to stick his tongue in PLG's arse, then good luck to him ...... hopefully one day he will find some backbone and not spend his entire life following PLG around! Mind you, they are both the same ........ they both worked their ticket out of Ibrox quite nicely!
