Like every fan, i just want to see us get to the bottom of this whole debacle. The only disagreement i have with some is that i still think PLG was unsuited to us and im quite glad he went ....... but if Fergie and others were causing problems, get them out too!

Meant to respond to this one earlier! I still think PLG had to go ... he was clueless about our game, and although it's maybe a sad take on our game that he couldn't import the best of ideas from European football, we may just have to accept that there are some elements of the Scottish game we can't change! However, it's nice to see they have weeded out one troublemaker already, and i hope they continue to do so ...... and if that means our former club captain too, then so be it!

Yeah, i think he will be better prepared now too .... but let's get realistic for a second guys! Our club is rotten to the core at the mo, and it needs someone like Smith to try and put that right (with proper support from DM) We are struggling to be the 2nd best club in Scotland at the mo, so fuck european football as far as im concerned, lets get back on top in Scotland first!

Never impressed me too much, although he did improve a bit from his woeful start ...... can't head a ball, so no good for Scotland!!

Sadly, we will probably never know the real goings on There seem to be around a dozen different versions of what really went on out there if you read them all, and i would bet that if PLG was paid off, it will involve some clause so he doesn't spill it all Regardless of what happened, very few of the articles do seem to be concentrating on the only truths we have, and that is that PLG's record, his signings, his tactics, etc, were all very very poor in his short spell here!

I'm not defending our signing policy, but we do have to be realistic, and until we get rid of DM, this is something we all have to get used to .... however, we shouldn't equate signing supposed superior foreign players like Gravesen, with success. Celtic would have got where they were WITHOUT him this season, i have no doubts about that! Most celtic fans i talk to don't rate the guy and would rather have him out of the team! Nakamura is quality, but how often do we unearth a foreign diamond, and Kenny Miller, well isnt he the exact reasonable Scottish signing that we have just been slating in this thread? -
Whilst the players do need to take a good look at themselves, i wouldnt be reading too much into this article, sounds just like an old mate sticking up for his pal to me! I still think PLG wanted away regardless, but the fact that Fergie seems to have had a bollocking indicates that there were other things going on there!

Be realistic ... ... if he showed any promise and consistency, he would be away anyway, he's already said we are a stepping stone! Call me old fashioned, but i'd rather see people who wanted to play for our club!

Fergie has clearly done something, as he does seem to have been getting a telling off, but i don't think it was quite deserving of what PLG did during his 'exit strategy' -
If PLG does take over at PSG, and If PLG would like to take his prodigal son, Clement, with him ... Would you sell him? Personally, i would let him go. He has only really impressed me in small doses this season, and he only really came due to Le Guen's appointment, therefore i can't really see him being too keen to stay now With Hemdani available to play in midfield, plus us being linked to Brown, Thompson, and even Hartley, if we could get a good sum for Clement, i'm afraid i would say 'au revoir' to him

It would be nice to have found out more, but you may well find that if SDM is keeping mum over it all, it may be because he has used such silence to 'reduce' PLG's payoff ..... he keeps his reputation, and we keep some more money! -
Aye, he's a player who could have performed the same role as De Boer, but has never really been given that opportunity enough!
