pretty strange but entertaining game
the good, we were lively going forward and created a lot of chances.
thought windass was superb at times and sooo unlucky
fantastic league debut from dorrans
at the back? a shambles
what a save from fod to stop them equalising
and how on earth was moult not sent off for elbowing herrera and then almost immediately halving a player at the edge of the box?
overall a much needed win but we really have to start burying chances

I can't argue with that. I can only add that is not just a Rangers problem and maybe even a social problem. Certainly a football problem.
My last OF game before I left Britain was the famous 1980 Police horse charge game. That was terrible that day with bottles flying down all about us from further back up the terracing. I managed to get myself behind a pillar but many were taken away with head wounds. Not that it would have made it right but the chances of them hitting a Celtic supporter was nil so it was just premeditated bombardment of your own supporters.
that game and the carry on that has just occurred with the Hibs support demonstartes quite graphically how well the Rangers support now conducts itself
the support in 1980 would have kicked the living shit out of that hibs support

Joylon Maugham QC specialising in tax law, took the wind right out their sales last week. So much so Tom English has taken a sabbatical at a retreat for worn out and delusion Journalist's, that'll be the Daily Liar (Record) then.
the fact he even thinks he take a guy like that on is incredible
but they never get slapped down up here by anyone so its like a buket of water in their coupon when it does,

To come onto a forum and suggest other members want the manager and by extension Rangers to fail is disgracful.
Admin should nip this in the bud, now.
easy tiger
most couldn't give a shit about friendlies
the justified anger came from absolutely awful performances in games that mean something
that said big alves does seem to have brought some badly needed quality to the back 4

I'd take McGinn for Miller - good deal all-round...
you must be joking

How I would love that lot to be totally humiliated at Ibrox.
if pedro manges to lose to the gargoyle in front a full house he'd pretty much be done

I absolutely do not side with the Green Brigade (with the notable, probably unpopular opinion that the 'no bloodstained poppy banner' was one I struggled to disagree with.
Someone asked a specific question. What I mean by "as well as some positive aspects which are hard to criticise." I work but don't live in the east end. Celtic and their fans do a lot of good work with local foodbanks and help people find work, and the fans are a part of making that a success. You'd have to be pretty mean spirited to see that and think badly of them. I don't like Celtic and I don't like their fans when the footie is on, but it's not like they're all bad, just like we aren't.
Rangers do excellent charity work at times, and i've done some stuff with the charity foundation in the past. StuGers, who commented on that, had a good point when he said that outsiders don't report it well, but I also think we could really step up and do even more really exciting work in the community.
you're at it
big time

Looking forward to seeing alves in action
he's a player you'd think that would raise the level around him

While some question the odd info given on transfermarkt, there are a rather good port of call if you look for in-game stats et al.
A few debates have been raging about our players' lack of form and return on the field of play last season, so why not check the stats for that before laying int this or that manager and his abilities?
Season 2015/16 (Warburton's first)
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/rangers-fc/leistungsdaten/verein/124/plus/1?reldata=%262015
Season 2016/17 (Warburton - Murty - Caixinha)
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/glasgow-rangers/leistungsdaten/verein/124/reldata/&2016/plus/1
The most glaring differences that spring to mind are Tav's enormous drop in goals and assists, to a lesser extend Wallace's too. McKay and Waghorn coudn't rise to the level of the season before, Miller and Holt too.
Not that this is any news, but above you find the facts and figures.
If you want to keep up to date with all of this throughout the current season, bookmark this link:

i think most of us already have a fairly strong grasp of the stats
2 5-1 defeats against the fitlh
4-1 v hearts which would have been 8 if not for fod
3 attempts couldn't beat RC
yeah the stats prove pretty conclusively we have had bad managers and players recruited

Well, as of this morning Luxembourg are ranked 48th out of 55 and Scotland are ranked 26th.
Progres are way below SPFL standard, they're part-time for a start and you have to go to the third tier of Scottish football to find part-time clubs. They also play in front of crowds you could literally count during the match, indeed you could introduce yourself personally to everyone else present at half-time. In terms of size and resource Progres are about the equivalent of Alloa or Stenhousemuir.
And, much as it pains me to point out, Scottish clubs beat clubs from Bosnia (ranked 39th) and Northern Ireland (ranked 49th) pretty recently. As an aside Cyprus are ranked 21st in Europe, they've been improving for a couple of decades or so.
the scottish champions lost to a team from Gibraltar
then celebrated getting pumped 7-0 by barca
scottish football is down the stank

he's largely pedro's last roll of the dice
he may well go into that dressing room and galvanise it, if he fancies it
if not pedro's not going to make it till the OF game in September

This is Ned behaviour and I'll explain how it works. The first wee guy does it and it is funny. However nearby neds then have to kick the arse out of it by all copying the first guy, so it then becomes boring. The next step (which didn't happen at Ibrox) often involves the bed desire to go one better than their mates, so chuck a coin, a lighter, a Buckfast bottle.. next thing they're on the park, etc!
It was a bit like the Hibs fans at the Cup final. Fair enough they hadn't won it for 100 years, so thousands run on to celebrate. Once on the pitch they don't know what to do next, so one says something cheeky to a Rangers player. Then another Ned has to take the next step to look big in front of an audience so Lee Wallace is getting punched. Most Hibs fans just wanted to celebrate, but their being on the pitch in the first place enables total knob ends to attack players, because they sure as hell wouldn't have the balls to assault our players if they weren't in a mob already. You have to nip any neddy behaviour in the bud right away because it will get out of hand, even if it doesn't start out that way.
you should aply for a job at the record

it is telling: telling you what you want to hear.
Stay calm and stop acting like an amateur thesp.
If everybody runs to one side of the boat, it is likely to capsize.
So show some balls, and independence of mind, and try to avoid fits of the vapours.
