  1. Posing with the image for photos that would go public. Causing the predictable bipolar reactions that in the moment might not matter but further down the line, may be a pain in the arse.
  2. A pig thick, ignorant footballer making mistakes is one thing. But an intelligent poster on here should know better.
  3. Too easy a mistake to make just now #Plethora
  4. I note a fair bit of noise coming out of Aberdeen regards taking something from Ibrox on Saturday. Yes, they appear to have a better chance than in recent years but crowing about it prior to the game usually works against them.
  5. Modern society isn't interested in character. It seems to be geared to produce quite the opposite. Football is just a small part of it. Weak willed individuals scrolling down some shite on their mobile phones is the order of the day.
  6. Belguim (8th) have now overtaken Scotland (9th) in co-efficient table. Austria (10th) have an outside chance of doing so as well before the end of this campaign. Won't get worse than that, so I think that the Scottish champions of next season will get direct access to the CL group stages or perhaps it will be the new league format of 36 teams. Another unwelcome stat is that we have the worst goal difference number of the 96 teams in the three European competitions.
  7. Hearts victory last night was their second group stage win in the European Conference. Another defensive injury (Kingsley/ Hamstring tweak) has Hearts really struggling as the two games a week continues up to the WC (Ross County are 3/1 to bt them at the weekend)....An optimistic Fiver on a Livingston and Ross County double pays 240 This weeks results were almost a mirror image of the reverse fixtures Rangers 0-3 and 3-0 Hearts 0-2 and 2-1 Celtic 1-1 and 1-1 Scottish clubs in Europe update (including qualifiers) Games Played : 25 (9) Goals For : 17 (7) Goals Against : 59 (23) (Rangers numbers in brackets) Although Hearts win boosted the co-efficient slightly, Belguim jumped above us in the table. We are now 9th and Austria (10th) have an outside chance of overtaking us this season but that is as bad as it will get. So I think that means that the Scottish Champions next season will gain direct access to the CL.
  8. Morelos is no dud. He is a poor professional, too often with a terrible attitude. We know he can be a top player but we have seen it only on relatively fleeting occasions. Unfortunately when he reached his best level, he got his first real injury and his level predictably went backwards until he broke, against Dundee. As for the sitter against Napoli. No real surprise, he has missed countless sitters over the years.
  9. History gives differing takes on the chance of winning the game (not by 5 goals). - The negative is that Ajax always beat us (5 out of 5 thus far) 3-2, 3-1, 4-1, 1-0, 4-0 - The positive is that in Gio's other CL group campaign with Feyenoord started with 5 defeats but ended with a home victory. A win would bring in 2.8M euros, so hardly a dead rubber.
  10. You are just talking bullshit now. Fine, disagree on a possible signing target but wind in the accusations of racism. It is gamesmanship and you see it every week. If there is a dislike of colour involved, it is blue (shirt) but Maurice Johnston wasn't keen on it either until he got well paid for wearing it.
  11. It is all a bit like we're going through the motions without real intent or belief.
  12. People who don't agree would come round if he did well. If he didn't do well, everyone would agree to get rid. Just a matter of time
  13. My immediate thought was similar but on reflection, on a bosman it makes sense. Scottish reared player for UEFA competition and more liable to be fit than Souttar. Pantomime villan who needs to mature but could be shaped into a very useful player.
  14. Tillman might become a player but if we have limited funds available do we risk it on a project ? For me, he needs to show progressively more from here until decision time.
  15. Gonzo is correct. I will correct them, sorry.
  16. That is because C1872 are no longer credible. Their executive decided to go down that path. Rangers fans and constructive politics don't mix. It tends to be gullibility or the need for conflict with other Rangers fans (group). Makes it easy for 3rd parties to take advantage. In this case, Dave King. If anyone thinks we have learnt lessons from the years around 2012, think again.
  17. Don't know the exact number but anything more than 250K is too much. edit Naw, wouldn't pay a penny for him (fee or wage) Not a player who adds much at all.
  18. James Sands is a player we should never spend millions on.
  19. Yilmaz offers a smidgen of optimism. Should get a run in the team. Second is Alex Lowry (offers hope) on the bench.
  20. To be fair, his concentration was probably a bit off for that chance just before HT. He'd have been thinking about his HT beefy bake and bottle of Irn Bru.
  21. Update on those eight matches 19/10/22 LEC Rangers 1 - 0 Dundee View events 22/10/22 PRE Rangers 1 - 1 Livingston View events 26/10/22 UCL Napoli 3 - 0 Rangers View events 29/10/22 PRE Rangers 15 : 00 Aberdeen 01/11/22 UCL Rangers 20 : 00 Ajax 06/11/22 PRE St. Johnstone 12 : 00 Rangers 09/11/22 PRE Rangers 19 : 45 Hearts 12/11/22 PRE St. Mirren 12 : 30 Rangers Signs aren't good. After games, it is always the line that..... we know this is shite but we'll look to do better next time. Next time comes and it is the same again and again, and again....... Connor Goldson's brace at Parkheid on the 19th of October 2020 was what started the implosion on the other side of the city. They'd won a fair few games up until that point but the signs were there for what was coming. Drop points against Aberdeen and we would very much be taking the same path.
  22. As I said in an earlier post, it has quickly become a #fcuking mess ....at all levels. No-one is currently smelling of roses AGM should be fun 🙄
  23. Most of any movement will come in the summer and we'll be stuck with the majority up until that point. I wouldn't be surprised if the board are hoping they can maintain GVB in position until closer to the summer/ ST renewal time. Obviously, results will determine if they can. Summer would be the ideal time for a new manager to overhaul the squad. I hope we've got some decent Bosmans listed to speak to in a few weeks because I can't see much of a net spend on transfer fees. AGM is looking like it might be a bit stormy. A positive from last night was that Alex Lowry was on the bench. Huge pressure on a young man, but we could do with him making the creative difference in the domestic game.
  24. DK, in good part, will have influenced the C1872 declaration so as to put the RIFC board in a no-win situation, for his own ends. C1872 : A dishonest broker that is ripping the pish out of it's members.
