About Mike_Hunt

  1. The hypocrisy is pretty thick with the King backers. He lies to the tax authorities, he lies to fans and goes back to South Africa. Instead of a trust, he sets up a company that he controls and wants that company to be granted rights on assets where rights cannot be granted. He talks about writing a check for $30M as being easy but yet, has not invested any money at all into this club. He is a walking soundbite and is using folks to drive the shareprice down so that he can get his hands on the assets for cheap...all the while trying to screw average fans like me that have invested into shares of the company.
  2. No, that means he is good at parsing his words....he also said that he didn't owe the South African money any additional money for taxes but later backtracked like hell to keep himself out of jail...
  3. But he doesn't clarify if he received $18M back from another Murray owned company. That was the allegation.
  4. I own more shares of stock than he does so I am not impressed that he has yet to put his money where his mouth is. He made a claim 4 weeks ago when he came to Scotland that he wasn't leaving until things were made right but after a few blowhard statements to the media, he left and went back to South Africa without accomplishing anything tangible. He lied. He also just through paying almost $50M to the South Africa government to stay out of jail. How much of that affected his wealth? Has he publically denied the rumors that he did receive about $18M of the $20M he invested previously in Rangers back via a shady side deal or company? I would like for him to be honest on that instead of making purposeful misleading statements that only a lawyer could generate.
  5. Getting back to the top in 3 consecutive promotions would increase the revenue to a very comfortable level and would allow the club to not be held hostage by a malcontent former director that has to this date, refused to put one $$ into the club. Heck, I am not a millionaire and I have put money in the club. I am also not a hedge fund or affiliated with Green and his cronies. Is it selfish to want the club to be successful and to see that my investment at least retains it value? I am just not too hip with the idea of creating destabilization in order to drive the share price low because that affects fans like me more than it does these other characters.
  6. I am willing to give him 6 more months. He inherited an absolute financial mess and I believe that the previous Director gambled (arrogantly and stupidily) that we would be back in the Top division before now. That being said, there is a segment of the fanbase that will continue to stir up stuff no matter what Wallace says or does so he just needs to concentrate on having a plan and executing it.
  7. what would be a shame is if this "starving out" the Board affects our ability to be active in the transfer market with strengthening the team. If it happens and we fail to get promoted, will the fans blame themselves?
  8. For me, it was blamed on the negative publicity caused by the boycott efforts which created financial uncertainty to certain outside entities. If you want to turn that into blaming the fans (or you), so be it. Again, some folks on here will spin anything negative so he's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.
  9. I think you are seeing what you want to see because I don't see a difference in the term "coverage" and the term "media" and think its petty to nitpick the words like this. Anyone without an preconceived agenda wouldn't give two shits about the words.
