If we win again it will get less than a page in the press if we lose 10 page pullout!
Did you forget that it's merely a liquidated company which is in court? Remember all that angst about club and company being separate entities?

if you go on any thread recently on here, you are constantly bleating about something. I'm glad your happy about the management appointment, but I fail to see what is it you want from Rangers at this time?
why not do an article for Gersnet with your concerns?
As you don't want to go into specifics, we appear to be done here.
I am perfectly happy voicing my concerns on the board, thanks.

I think it is worth pointing out that the new board had nothing to do with any player signings from last season or any player contracts. The players that are left have a contract and it will cost a fortune to pay them off. Hopefully we can sell some of them on. The new board have been left with the players kept on. Why would the board release them before the new manager has had time to assess them. You really need to think things a little better through before trying to attack the board at every chance. Or are you on the Mediahouse payroll as well.
There was no need to point out the ins and outs of contracts arranged before March as it's not difficult to grasp. I commented in reply to a claim that players were being bought to win the second tier. Three have been bought, or to be exact, one has been bought, two were free, and they have been added to a bunch of losers from last season. Which part of that allowed you to twist it into me attacking the board on pre-existing contracts?
The board released eleven players before the new manager could assess them, so spare me that nonsense. They were punted in order to save money on the wage bill. Those with existing deals stayed because of the cost involved in terminations. If all the players had deals up at the end of the season, there would have been others shown the door before Warburton arrived on the scene.
Your wee snide dig at the end was fucking pathetic, but is typical of fans who put a side or individuals first before the club and won't countenance any dissenting voices.

every post from football, ticket operations, management, fans and boardroom, you are like a broken record.
your smugness does you no good.
What have I said about the manager that has upset you? I was happy about the appointment.
As for the rest, let's talk specifics and we can take it from there.

very telling what?
when was your last positive post?
oh it's obvious you have no sense of humour either.
Just because I'm not signed up to the Dave King Glee Club, doesn't necessarily mean that my posts are negative. If you, or anyone else for that matter, think that he is above reproach, then, of course, they will not come across well to you.
If I missed the humour in your post, my humble apologies.

Got a new manager and coaching staff
finance to keep us going meanwhile
kept Ashley's £5m ( get it up you fatso)
getting players in to win the second tier
ST selling............
all in 12 weeks !
what's this inaction people are on about ?
Manager and assistant. Have I missed an announcement about other coaches coming aboard?
£8m of loans. Terrific!
Three new players in to compliment the remaining stars from last season’s triumphs.
Season tickets always sell at this time of year, and frankly, they couldn't get any worse than last season’s flop.

Victor Meldrew strikes again:)
Very telling that all you could muster was that.

Come on, there's really no need to be facetious. There's a massive difference between some inconsistencies across King & co's planned and unplanned interviews and what some of the previous incumbents did and I'm sure you know it.
The new board's been in place for 4 months. During that time I think a lot has happened (even more so behind the scenes no doubt!) and there's going to be a lot more happening over the next few months, most of which I think will be positive, so some patience might be more prudent than sniping.
I didn't mention anything about what the previous incumbents did or did not do, so to try and put words in my mouth is not on. I was merely making the point that there is no consistency in the reaction to their inaction because people have once again chosen a 'side'.
What are all these positives that have happened? Christ, Graham Wallace was ridiculed for taking that amount of time to come up with a plan. For all it was, at least it was something.

Should fans not expect promises to be kept at face value? Transparency, transfer kitty, improvements to infrastructure etc etc.
Loans are okay but they are not great or especially pleasing. So far the investment has fallen way short of what I thought they were promising. I really didn't think we would be relying on freebie signings again and a less than 40% wage budget with zero scouts for the first team.
But its still better than Ashley. That being said Its also a poor day when not being robbed is seen as a coup.
No matter what i will still follow follow just not as happily or optimistically as I once did.
If the previous incumbents had similarly failed to tackle the numerous problems that exist, with stories changing from one interview to the next, they would have been rightly slaughtered for it.
Now shut up and be grateful.

The scale of offence is completely irrelevant in this case. It is all about tax law interpretation and principle. Doesn't matter whether or not it was 1 pound or 1 billion pounds. And even if Carloway rules against RFC the sad reality (for HMRC) is that they will be chasing a debt from a company which will ultimately be liquidated - if they win they will be small pennies on the pound.
Likewise, why the SFA would be concerned is beyond me. Caroloway can rule on the law and can levy fines on a legal entity. But that doesn't necessarily mean the Club. Not sure how the courts would expel us from football...... Seems like scare-mongering to me.
That quote was from 2012, craig.

So we employ a whole load of scouts before we bring in a manager - what if the manager thinks they are useless?
A scouting set-up should have absolutely nothing to do with a particular manager. If he leaves after 12 months, is the whole system binned and started from scratch with the unveiling of a new appointment?

Good news. Perhaps more likely Kenny Miller will have a player/coach role going forward.
Aye, just kill the mood, Frankie!

How will we fill the huge void?

@STVRaman: David Weir concedes not having a scouting network is hampering Rangers attempts to sign new players
Should have been addressed by the new board on day one. No excuses as they had months of preparation to have everything ready to go.

This was well reported at the time , dont know why its an issue again
Probably because they have only just resigned, as opposed to previously giving notice of their intention to leave only to have their services retained at the 2014 AGM vote and being described as still "officially in place" by Paul Murray as late as March this year.
Like everything else surrounding the club, nothing appears straightforward.

The non-ratification of the constitution didn't have anything to do with the fate of AH and his departure certainly didn't "suit" me in any shape or form.
If the constitution wasn't ratified, did the club have the authority to remove him from the Board as they did?
It wasn't aimed at you personally.

Anything's possible if it's the will of the members.
Refreshing to hear. It would be great if the majority of your members share this view.

I think you must be trying to take the mickey here because it's pretty obvious that calling the supporters groups "self-interest groups" is derogatory and it's pretty obvious that you meant it to be derogatory as well.
Regardless of my personal views, it is what they are, simply, they are there to serve the interests of their members. There would be no need for two separate organisations if they had a singular goal. Let's not forget that RF was set up after the toys, once again, came out the RST pram.

Using derogatory terms to describe legitimate supporters groups which collectively represent tens of thousands of members makes it look as if it's you who's being petty.
What's derogatory?

Smoking gun from whom , is the fact mcmurdo is being paid by media house not enough to get you wondering what his agenda is , and this was known before this blog , I've known for months he was being paid , Jack Irvine let it slip to someone I know
The dogs in the street know that McMurdo has been running stories for Irvine. The point is why do we need yet another attention-seeking blogger with lots to say but nothing to back it up? If they don't have anything new to offer, are they not just the other side of the same coin?

You seem to be on an ignore list.
Not sure what you mean.

Just my opinion but I could happily support Rangers without a single fans' body doing any representation at all. Well, maybe the share buying ones, but not the others.
Even so, it's symptomatic of us as a club and a support that we may be creating a credible fans body just as the time when we needed it most has passed.
Even a body for fans to buy shares could quite easily be done through the club, with no need for the petty politics that surrounds the current self-interest groups.

The RFB wasn't disbanded, though there haven't been any full meeting of the RFB there has been meetings between members and the board.
In that case, has Alan Harris been reinstated yet, or is the non-ratification of the constitution only relevant when it suits?

It might not sound very complicated when you don't think it through properly, but it's a ridiculous idea. The RST is going nowhere and RF has almost 14,000 members/contributors, so nobody in their right mind will disband that either.
Exactly, so this latest ruse is nothing more than the latest cosmetic exercise.

They had paper tickets with numbered vouchers up until last season when smartcards were introduced.
