  1. Der Berliner, musicians without a conductor improvise. Like jazz, which requires intelligence. Not many footballers have much intelligence.

Rangers fans are particularly negative just now because our, usually successful, team have been crap for 6 years. I work with Bears, I am related to Bears - most of us are down in the dumps. Most of us agree Pedro had to go. You seem to continually bang a positive, contented drum but that is not the reality in Scotland. We need yo improve, fast.

    :roflmao:

Back on topic as a REAL Bear.

I thought Jason Holt was outstanding today, never stopped working for the cause. My MOTM.

  2. We really are down to the bare bones in defence, the midfield isn't much better, though having Jack available is a bonus. Also now that Kenny is included maybe he can help Alfredo to find his scoring boots again, I don't think it's any coincidence he hasn't found the net since Pedro banished KM from the squad. Love it if Kenny finds his form immediately on his return and delivers the team 3 vital points along with ramming some humble pie down a few throats. That would be fantastic.

  3. Scottish football's disciplinary system is being run for the benefit of one club only. Apparently Scott Brown kicked someone in the head during a game recently and then there are the elbow incidents against Rangers which went unpunished. Those in charge don't even try to hide their bias anymore.

  4. The David Edgar guy on the posted video sums it up perfectly imo. He's speaking my mind and probably most of the Gers fans if not all of them. He put forward a comparison of the CV's of Pedro and Steve Clarke, he added that it doesn't mean he wants Clarke...but the comparison basically showed how wrong our board got the call wrong.

I'd like to add in this wee bit of my own.

I regret Stuart McCall failing to get us past Motherwell in the play-offs in May 2015 with Ally's duds. If he had I reckon we wouldn't have to have endured Warburton then Pedro because this board haven't a clue on manager recruitment so would have just given McCall the job! Surely that wouldn't have been such a bad thing given hindsight?

Hope the 'director of football' knows a bit about recruitment when the inevitable comes.

  5. No, it actually doesn't. And just because you think he has played better than some this season doesn't a) mean it is true or b) mean you should be telling other forum members they know "FA" about football.

Indeed, the majority seem to agree with Gonzo that Miller has been poor this season.... seems the majority know "FA' huh ?

Gonzo hasn't had anything good to say about Rangers as far as I know...hence the FA remark. As for other forum members I have the utmost respect including yourself.

  6. I'm no Miller basher - but in which game(s) has he played well this season ?

I've been unhappy about a lot of players in our squad this season and Kenny wasn't one of them! Hope that answers your question.

  7. In Pedro's defence.

We played four teenagers tonight, any side with that amount of inexperienced players is going to make mistakes.

He's got no leaders. Wallace is injured and Miller out of favour. A lot is expected of Alves but he's not a captain, he's been here only a few months, his English is good but he shouldn't be captain.

He's got no luck. Seriously, I know you make your own luck and all that but PC is one unlucky manager.

We can't score goals. Morelos is now a known quantity for defenders and no one else in the current side looks like they can score currently.

However, in the end the buck stops with PC. He picks the side he decides the tactics. We need to be able to beat the bottom club, at home, when 1-0 up in the 89th minute and just been given a penalty.

A disgrace it came to that...I believe if he was playing instead of sitting banished we'd be three points behind Dolly and have a cup final date marked in our diaries. Pedro needs to go, who we replace him with I've no idea.

  8. Think it's time he left, maybe he wants to but who can we replace him with?

When was video evidence introduced to the Scottish game? Jack got red-carded after the 4th assistant viewed the monitor at Ibrox. That must be against the rules!

  9. No...last time that happened was 10 months ago under Warburton (Sheep and Heartz at home, Accies away).

I think the buck stops at the board. Not very good at recruiting a manager really.

Quoting Compo a couple of pages back.

  10. I also have a horrible noise in my ears. They call it the nagging wife syndrome.:D

Sorry guy's I don't want to make light of your illness but I couldn't resist it.

My last job was as a safety officer and I sent people off site for not wearing proper protection. If they could see how I work at home they would be totally shocked. I will say though after having metal splinters removed from my eyes I now always have safety glasses on for anything that can damage my eyes. I even wear safety glasses for cutting the grass but that is because I was stung twice around my eyes after I probably upset some insects with nests in the ground.

Went right off topic, but what the hell :)

Years ago I was fitting a rear panel blackout thing to my sons vauxhall cav using a drill to create fixing points, I got what I thought was something blowing in my left eye. Next day my eye was 'a bit sore' next day it was annoying me to the extent had to go to my doctor about it (in those days you could make an appointment with your doctor and get seen in a matter of hours) Doc referred me to Stobhill hospital for specialist attention...this Chinese doctor took a pair of tweezers to my eye to pick out a metal shard millimetres from my pupil...no big deal except I lost the sight in my right eye when I was 12 years old. Always wear eye protection I say when doing something with machinery of sorts.

Anyway...what did bitter hater Kieth do today?

  11. Sorry about that mate, i actually think as i get older i'm losing a bit of my hearing, least that's what the wife says. i get a bit of buzzing now and again, i work with a petrol motor on most days within earshot, i only lately started wearing ear defenders.

As I've got older I've reverted to wearing ear defenders for using the likes of the lawn mower, car polisher, drill and even the vacuum cleaner in the house. The 'ringing' in my ears is due to the abuse they got listening to Deep Purple and Steely Dan on max volume during my misspent youth.
