I'm sure it was in the Champions League last season. If I remember rightly, the ball was played into his feet on the edge of the 6 yard box and with his back to the keeper he back-heel flicked/redirected the ball behind him and into the net. Cant remember who it was against.

Doesn't surprise me to hear rumours of a Right Back. Hutton has a lot of promise but is young and is inconsistent - now that Ricksen appears to be on his way it's definitely an area that needs strengthened.

Nor will I. He's a dinosuar from the Advocaat era and it's time we moved on. Any hope of a reprieve has gone because of his reaction to the incident - if he'd kept quiet and apologised perhaps things could have been different - given his past I wouldn't be surprised to see him moved on. I doubt he'll be sacked because we wouldn't get a transfer fee for him.

Dont have much further to add to whats already been said, only that Ricksens apparently said that PLG was looking for ways to get rid of him. Thats just nonsense - if he wanted rid then he would have told him along with the other players.

From what we can tell of Le Guen so far he's big on respect - if he's tried to fire into a trolley dolly or had a sneaky couple of beers then my guess is that he'll be gone quicker than you can say mon dieu!

Anyone see the papers today talking about inducting Larsson into the Scotland Hall of Fame? i assume u mean fifa and not uefa. if fifa are to be taken seriously about trying to stamp out (unintentional Rooney pun) play acting/diving etc then they should be reviewing matches and dishing out retrospective yellow and red cards. that way players know that even if they get away with it on the pitch then they're gonna get it in the neck afther the match. i realise this would be hard to administer across the world but it would stop all this nonsense immediately.

What about Larsson? Can u imagine the reception he would get pulling on a light blue jersey at Breezeblock Park?
