    Hello Hello

    Welcome to Gersnet SPB
  2. Felt really sorry for Burnley at the end. Is it not kind of daft how away goals count, but not until after extra time. Spurs obviously had an advantage then because they had the extra half an hour to score their away goal.
  3. I agree SA - why not just say 'He played really well' The old saying springs to mind - If your good enough your old enough. I don't see any reason why he shouldn't at least have a shot at becming a permanent fixture in the side after the impressive outing on Saturday. Put it this way I would rather see Fleck in the team than the likes of Adam/Mcculloch/Beasley etc
  4. Welcome to all the new guys:cheers:
  5. Good news. I don't fancy either Whittaker or Kirk at LB on Saturday. See Cregg has had his appeal turned down
  6. Expect Adam to start on Saturday! To be fair I wouldn't make many changes at all to the team from the Falkirk game
  7. 14 Million:confused: City are going to go well over the 100M mark at this rate depending on the Kaka deal. Astronomical wages no doubt put into the bargain too. It's obscene!
  8. Will be interesting to see how well or otherwise he does down there. Never really rated him and always thought he was far too light, but I wouldn't wish any harm on the guy and hope he is a success at Cardiff
  9. I'm away to look him up in Football Manager :fish: Is that not how we judge every player :box:
  10. Time that was changing next week then I just hope wee fleck keeps his place in the team
  11. Absolutely massive game for us next week and as we all know we will have to be right up for it especially after today. The sheep are flying at the moment at home and will be BHOYed by todays result:box:
  12. Yip definitely 3 massive games. I know it's a cliche but we just have to take one game at a time. I agree with Pete though last season and certainly in the first half of this campaign we have dropped points to the teams in the lower half of the League. We have to eradicate this in the remaining games to stand any hope of catching the Sellick

    Beasley

That says more about Adam and McCulloch than it does about Beasley though:) I think Beasley is far too lightweight. Falls into the same category as the departed Chris Burke for me
  14. Yes and lets hope he's telling other clubs were to stick their interest also:)
  15. From the Newcastle website NEWCASTLE UNITED boss Joe Kinnear has confirmed that Danish international Peter Lovenkrands has joined the club on a week-long trial. The 28-year-old arrived on Tyneside over the weekend and will begin training with the Magpie squad from Monday. And Toon chief Joe hopes that the former Rangers and Schalke winger will impress over the coming days. Kinnear said: "I met Peter over lunch yesterday and he started with us on a week-long trial today.
  16. Spot on in my opinion Frankie. I would go as far to say that at the moment I would rather see ANYONE go other than Boyd. Who's this Edu guy - never seen him:fish:
  17. Get rid of Boyd and sign Lovenkrands back - sorry GTF. This whole sorry state of affairs stinks. What next get Albertz back to replace Barry
  18. Been a cracking first half and Burnley deservedly lead
  19. True enough. I can't understand any of our fans wanting rid of him. His goalscoring record is phenomenal.
  20. Absolute disgrace if this turns out to be true. Are Mendes and Bhougerra next?
  21. I was thinking exactly the same when I read this
  22. I think Neilson would be a decent signing only for the fact he is a RB and I don't rate Whittaker at all in that position. Lee Miller - eh naw
  23. Maybe if we had started him he might just have scored the 2 goals for us. I don't know about anybody else but reading this bloody increased my frustration at the whole thing all over again:ffs:
  24. I'm sure a few of us on here predicted that this would happen. Comes across hardly gets a sniff shows some promise in the few minutes he does get and is then sent packing. More wonderful management and foresight:throwpc:
  25. I just hope the big man is fit to play. Would be a major blow if he missed out again. Bring it on! Not long to go now
