  1. That's a foul, but it's not worthy of a booking for Barisic, surely?
  2. Our play deserved the opening, but we've got a bit of luck to go ahead.
  3. Come on James... Yes! Straight into the corner side netting. Beautiful.
  4. 8 crosses in 14 minutes. I think 7 of them have went to their 'keeper, ffs...
  5. We look up for it, but we need to be ruthless when the chances come.
  6. Good strike from Aribo but it doesn't get out from under his feet. Gets power behind it, but it goes over.
  7. Too many of our long balls or crosses are straight at the 'keeper. Must do better.
  8. Is Alfie alright? I can't hear what they're saying.
  9. Well, we are playing more direct, which is great to see. @RANGERRAB We need to work on making the most of the second balls.
  10. It actually looks like a 4-3-3, with Kent, Morleos and Itten as the front three.
  11. Another muted game, for me. I must say, I've enjoyed not listening the BT commentary team for the past couple of months.
  12. Yes, we do have more of a 'street' vibe, with Morelos, Itten, Aribo, Jack and Arfield: all fighters that can get stuck-in and all best placed to deal with the terrible pitch.
  13. The formation doesn't tell us how we're going to play. I can see Morelos and Itten switching throughout, though.
  14. I think it'll be a 4-2-3-1, with Itten on the right. SG has alternated between 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1 this season. Itten is a (welcome?) surprise, though.
  15. Was he? I must be misremembering the injury, then? I could have sworn he was not quite in favour. Maybe not. My point still stands!
  16. Kamara encapsulates the benefits that stats can bring to player recruitment. He was not a player that stood out in a poor Dundee side, and they actually didn't play him that much, from what I remember, simply because he didn't suit what they wanted. Yet, the stat trackers were always singing his praises: he was consistently top of the league when it came to some stats (not all), like passing, key passes, interceptions etc. It was clear that there was a player there, if only someone could utilise his skill set.
  17. Kamara, for me.
  18. If we compare the goals scored in the group stages/proper rounds (excluding qualifiers) and where those teams finished in their leagues: McCoist: CL: 4 goals - Leeds (C), Grasshoppers (C) EL: 3 goals - Bohemians (-), Ives (-), Boavista (5) Morelos: EL: 9 goals - Rapid Vienna (2), Porto (C), Young Boys (C), Feyenoord (3), Lech Poznan (2). Morelos shades it, for me. The Europa League definitely looks a more difficult prospect now - McCoist was playing against sides from Ireland and Finland!
  19. Kilmarnock 0 - 1 Rangers FGS Aribo
  20. I thought the issue last night in that first half was the poor press. We clearly wanted to let them play from the back, as they were supposedly poor playing out. The problem was it was only the front three that pressed; the midfield didn't, so they were able to pass through the press. Second half we utilised a mid block, which worked better.
  21. Most were expecting more goals from us, so the majority only picked up 1 point for this round. Correct Result (1 pt): Everyone who entered. Correct Number of Rangers Goals (1pt): Rousseau, Bill, gaspard and Devil. FGS (2 pts): gs, WB91, Franc and Bill. Correct Score (3 pts): Rousseau, Bill, gaspard and Devil. @Bill collects the full 7 points for the round! Latest Standings:
  22. Hamilton has certainly had the best car over the last few years -- same with Schumacher -- but I think he's certainly the best driver of his generation. Damon Hill made the point that it's too difficult to compare drivers of different eras, because the cars and circumstances are too different.
