I think it'll be far more unlikely for them to go with their prejudices, simply because they cannot deny what's being shown in black and white. There will still be an element of subjectivity for some decisions, so incompetency will continue. It's more for the objective, black-and-white decisions what will start being corrected, that makes me favour VAR. Just think of the number of offside goals we'd have scored last year.

The Leaderboard? It's based on the number of 'reactions' that your posts receive. Most pay no attention. Oh--do you mean the 'youth team', 'first team squad' etc. rank, for posters? It's based on the number of posts. I have no idea what you need for each rank, though.

Burnley also surprised me, beating Southampton. I actually think they've had two 'blip' seasons; their European place the season before last was too high for them, but their flirtation with relegation last season was too low.

It's fair to say Brighton surprised you all. I think Potter's a good coach. They've also made some astute acquisitions. However, I too, did not expect them to beat Watford 0-3.

It's a "farce" to wait to get the correct decision? I'd rather wait. I think they said, out of 270 or 370 goals (can't recall which) last season, VAR rescinded 6.

VAR is a great idea. It's implementation has still be be perfected.

I was surprised Liverpool didn't sign anyone. However, Salah and Firmino look better, and they have Oxlade-Chamberlain and Gomez back. I would also expect a better season from Keita. Origi, also, looks like he can play a supporting role.

I thought Liverpool were poor; clinical, yes -- mainly due to Norwich's woeful defending --, but they were poor defensively. I thought Norwich played well, going forward, but their defending was terrible. As Jamie Carragher said, they'll get a hiding playing against the top teams, but i think they've got enough to beat the lower sides.
