I hate to bring him up in this debate but Ange disproved the notion that a manager must be attached to the team prior to being appointed. He succeeded through good recruitment and a clear playing style that showed little respect for the teams in the SPL. I get the trepidation of an anattached manager due to our last experience but Clement was way too stubborn whilst operating with 1 hand tied behind his back. Alternatively, you could also say Gio and Beale knew what they dealing with due to their prior Scottish football experiences and look how that turned out. I really wished we had gone with Muscat when we had the chance. Oh well...

I didn't see the game but now reading about the fallout etc. With regards to the banner, as much as the faux outrage is to be expected by that lot and their merry band of media puppets, I'm just disappointed that they are even referred to at all. Tifos of that nature obviously take a lot planning, time and effort but why refer to them at all? Its exactly what they and their acolytes want. We have a rich history of amazing players, managers and success. Can we not celebrate that without having to sully all your hard work by aiming at them?
