  1. Change in formation? Certainly a change in personnel. Hopefully team will click and players given a chance today (Itten, Roofe, Davis and Barker) can take their opportunity and step up to the plate.
  2. Excellent mix of old and new. Classy
  3. It also ignores the SG stated Kent is a huge player for us and not for sale (unless Leeds meet our valuation).
  4. Just my opinion, Killie are one opponent where we need both Jack and Kamara. They have a strong midfield.
  5. 2 big loses, but opportunity for others to stand up and be counted.
  6. Slightly off topic, but given we are nearing last year's season ticket sales, anyone any idea how Celtic ST sales are going? More out of curiosity and feeling they may be low given Liewells vocal pleading for them hosting test games with fans and return of fans ASAP. Still can't see full capacities this year, it'll start with low attendances and be built up slowly.
  7. We'll there is little point in selling him then. A circa £3M profit (less if there was a sell on clause) isn't the business model we require to fund strengthening the squad or boost our finances.
  8. The issue with selling Kent rather than Alfredo is to recoup the same "profit" we'd need to see Kent for circa £25M which isn't gonna happen (yet). Could it be for financial security, we need to sell both? However, £10M for Kent is way too low and we shouldn't be entertaining anything led than double that.
  9. Lille President was on Talk Sport this morning and confirmed they had a £16M bid for Alfedo rejected by Rangers. Said they are now well covered in the forward areas but may return with an improved offer for Alfredo. Several outlets running with our interest in John Lundstram who has rejected a new contract with Sheffield UTD but still had a year to run on his current contract.
  10. Good move for him and sure he'll.be a success at that level. Goes with my best wishes.
  11. We defeated Plymouth 3-2 at a game at the training centre today. There is a report on the PAFC official site but no mention of our players / team. Rumour emanating is that we had a at least 1 trialist playing with a view to signing. The name being suggested is Jack Wiltshire. Very injury prone, but when / if fit, an exceptional footballer. PS - I'm taking the rumours with a pinch of salt, but there is obviously a reason we are not reporting this game and not allowing PAFC to advertise what of team or goal scorers were (they just mention numbers)!!!
  12. If this is genuine then we should be looking for £17-20M. EPL is cash rich and we should be looking at a £10M+ profit on Kent. Given the interest in Alfredo has subsided, we may entertain offers for other players.
  13. Without checking the results, I'm sure the last time we won the SPL we dropped points at places like Livingston, so off course we can win the league even after dropping points against Livi. Clubs who've taken most points from us and Celtic since start of 18/19 season Killie = 15 points Livi = 10 points Hibs = 8 points Aberdeen = 7 points Hearts = 7 points
  14. Read somewhere that if we had won on Sunday it would have been 1st time in a decade that we'd have won our opening 4 league games and it's the 1st time since the 40s we've not conceded a goal in the opening 4 league games.
  15. I'm obviously in the minority, but what do people see on McCorie? He is not the standard we require and shown nothing to suggest he could become a mainstay in the team. Sticks on my throat wishing him well at Aberdeen, but I do, wish the lad all the best.
  16. To be fair he showed more in his cameo than Hagi, Arfield and others showed.

As someone who has "liked" Chelsea since early 80's and who has always had a warm welcome whenever I've visited / attended Chelsea games, historically, if Rangers have a relationship with an English (or London club) it's undoubtedly with Arsenal!
  18. A voice of reason in the mad world of supporting Rangers. We would all love is to win every game, we would all love us to play expansive football every game, but alas the real world is not like that. At the start of the season I'm sure we all realised that we'd drop points at some point in the season (some of our fans were saying it was gonna be on the 1st day of season). We'll drop more points, they'll drop more points. We are 4 games in, we've won 3, drawn 1 and yet to concede a goal. Note quite 10/10, maybe 7 or 8 out of 10. I'm sure the team and squad will improve as the season gathers pace. Roll on Saturday and Killie at home.
  19. Horrid performance - I hate everything about Livingston and we should be beating teams like Livi every day of the week. Only positive is another clean sheet but scant consolation.
