SPFL Season declaration challenged legally (ongoing discussion)
CammyF replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Maybe a nicely worded statement from Rangers declining to contribute but giving £5K to a nominated charity (Erskine or such like). Said statement could also contain a line or two reminding everyone that we in fact offered to pay for a fully independent investigation into SPFL.... ?? -
2 negative stories in today's Daily Record regarding Celtic (boys club scandel) and Peter (too much influence in SPFL) - wonder if there has been falling out?

Worth a listen - sounds like civil war has broken out in SPFL https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p08k2hln -

SPFL have publicly declared they are skint. A financial incentive at this stage is almost an admittion of guilt. League Reconstruction has been voted on and kicked out. SPFL are backed into a corner here and with the judge forcing them to make all documents available against their will and wishes tells it's own story ? -

SFA to set up panel to hear Hearts/Thistle case. Panel to be overseen by independent Judge. SPFL motion to dismiss rejected. Judge rules that all documentation (emails, texts, chats, telephone calls) all made available to panel/investigation. Hearts / Thistle still have option to go back to court if not satisfied with outcome of SFA investigation. -

Castore Announced As Rangers Official Kit and Retail Partner
CammyF replied to blueflag's topic in Rangers Chat
Well that clears it all up and delivers a kick inn the nuts to MA and SD at the same time. Our deal is exclusively with Castore who will use outlets to maximise sales (more profit for them and us) which is completely normal business practice. If SD are one of those outlets, we have a simple choice - buy from SD or buy direct from RFC, Castore or any of the other retail outlets chosen / selected by Castore. -
Apparently PL is off to Japan - All the best for future Peter and good luck to those joining / staying and promoted within the youth system.

If the rigged resolution had not been passed, Hearts and Thistle would not have been relegated. However as Bill said, their only motivation at this point in time is money. Whether a win in court for them would be the catalyst for change to handing out of tainted titles and change to leadership in our game is anyone's guess. A Hearts/Thistle compensation payout could be the trigger for a further court / legal case into the shambles that is governance of our game? -
Listened to this yesterday, decent interview and hard to argue with Andy's fave games and his 1-11 team.

Another statement from Thistle - seems they are saying SPFL have 7 days to settle out of court or they will ask for interim interdict. Poor statement to be honest... https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/board-update-17th-june-2020/ -

Get that dossier dusted down Anne ? -
Rangers are correct in making proposals. If SPFL are asking clubs to do their work for them, then our voice should be heard. Shouldn't impact on any future moves on correcting the governance of Scottish Football.
-
In more hope than expectation, Robertson mentioned the calling of the league and NOT the continued governing of the SPFL. As Craig says, maybe (hopefully) they are working away in the background and may be awaiting the outcome of the reconstruction bribes, sorry, discussions.

Yip, next she'll have a pop-up stall outside Hampden and be shouting "roll up, roll up, get you're (no strings attached) bribes here".... Maybe more effective of getting these loans / incentives (call them what you like) accepted if the cabal was to offer them? -

Doncaster now telling anyone who'll listen that reconstruction is only way to save Scottish Football. Rewind a few weeks and he was telling us handing the most tainted or all tainted titles to that mob was the only way to save Scottish Football. To think we have all 42 clubs a real opportunity to get rid of this bumbling idiot and the cabal but they decided to stick with the status quo - hell mend them.
