  1. I was sat in the Copland rear when a certain Adrian sprott put us out the Scottish cup I think it was the only time they ventured over the halfway line...A bit like today's teams...

  2. Today is the anniversary of that horendous 3-2 loss at alloa in the semi final of the so called diddy cup. It's exactly one year today. What's been your worst ever defeat? Berwick will always be mine...

  3. I think you are being far too kind to the media who these days are very, very rarely journalists with the original definition. They mostly come across as delusional, agenda driven bloggers with no objectivity, no in depth knowledge, no rationality and no integrity. As Warburton said there is bugger all research or substantiation, it's mostly just plain bullshit or rumour mongering, with a bit of Chinese whispers.

Some may not be as raving mad as they seem but instead could be carefully using that persona to acquire a following of delusional people who desperately want to hear the stuff that is fed to them as all part of their wishful thinking.

It's all about clickbait these days and negative, controversial stuff about Rangers sets the country aloud with a immense, cacophonous tap dance - clickety, clickety click.

Their job is to sell newspapers....simples.

  4. A model professional he may be, but a terrible football player he is also. His passing, movement, reading of the game, and of course most importantly finishing, are all of a standard that falls far far short of what I want at our club. Jig was also a model professional, as was Neil Alexander and a whole host of others. It doesnt mean we should have them in the team. His place/wages should be better utilised.

Tannoch I know it's just your opinion but are you calling out the magic hat in playing a "terrible football player " ? your words...

  5. I was watching the Spurs game on Sunday and was bored with it, so switched it over to see if ICT could turn over the Tims. They couldn't, but what i did take from the Tims was they have a good mix of styles, with a few good young players, backed by other more seasoned pro's. Plus a few big strong players who are good in the air and can head a ball .

But they are no where near "years in advance", they are a season ahead, maybe two depending in who we recruit should we be promoted. We already play a better passing game, and have players who can score from set pieces. But their seasoned players and others who can score from various patterns in their play, crosses into the box, shots and set plays. gives them a slight advantage atm

If we get a couple strong seasoned pro's in to match them, added to our young enthusiastic work force, plus keep or recruit talented loans, we'll quickly catch them up. Also If our learning curve next season matches this season's learning progress on the pitch, under Warbs and Weir's tutelage. Honestly we'll be right up in their faces, Boyd knows this as does the rest of the mhanky mob, they are just trying to convince themselves otherwise, which is a good sign we have them rattled imo.

I'd rather watch two flys playing heedy fitbaw weeso&so lol than watch them..

  6. It's a given that he'll move on eventually, that's the nature of football. The day's of a Fergie or Wenger spending decades at a club seems long gone in the modern climate and it's inevitable that if Warbs achieves a good level of success with us, he'll be poached to a bigger team and I don't think anybody would resent him for that if they're entirely honest. The hope is, that in building his reputation to get the big offer, he makes Rangers a credible opportunity for another up and coming manager looking to make a name for themselves and carry on the work. Warbs' job is to get us back to where we belong and to lay the foundations for the next man to follow him.

Why are we all assuming Warburton is going to leave all his good work for someone else to come in and take over? I see the magic hat being at rangers for many many years, hes always going on about the history of our club and personally i think mark Warburton will be up there alongside the ' bill struth's' and all our other successful managers....

  7. As an aside, I thought Miller looked sharp when he came on the other night.

I'd also mention that in a MW team it is very much the total goals scored that is more important than returns of individuals.

44 goals in 15 league games is the important goals stat.

I think our fans seem to forget Timeforchange, is that kenny isnt the goalscorer he used to be, he's more a team player now, the magic hat has him all over the park now if he's not on the right or the left he's helping in midfield, it beats me how fans don't see the work rate Miller puts in...

  8. Missed that interview but certainly a fair insight.

Welcome to the forum mate. :)

We're they getting trained right Frankie or was it just a carry on at murraypark? Remember wee Matt McKay saying we don't do set pieces and everything is is a laugh then he disappeared off the face of the earth..

  9. Has anyone else noticed that we haven't had a lot of injuries this season compared to last season? Have we got miracle doctors and physio's now? or were last season's players cheating us feigning injury so not to play. This season none of our new players have been injured (touch wood) and the only ones injured and out for long periods of time are last season's players, Miller, Clark, shiels, law ect....personally they were getting the right training from our previous management team and coaches....

  10. ...says ex-Hoops skipper Tom Boyd.

BOYD reckons the Old Firm derby will be back on the top league agenda next season but insists Rangers are still two or three years away from being able to challenge Celtic.

TOM BOYD insists Rangers are still years away from being able to challenge Celtic for the Premiership title.

The former Treble-winning captain says he has no fears about a Light Blues threat to the Hoops’ domestic dominance any time soon.

Ibrox chairman Dave King has spoken of Mark Warburton’s men pushing their Old Firm rivals

next season if they win promotion.

The South African aims to bring in five players to strengthen the Gers squad and challenge the four-in-a-row champions.

But with three players on loan who might also need replaced Boyd, 50, believes Gers are well short of tackling Celtic.

He said: “It will be two or three years for them to get up and running to compete at the level Celtic are at.

“Yes, Rangers are a better team than last season but look at Hearts. They’re eight points behind and Celtic are still a better team than them.

“Rangers have got a challenge from Hibs so we’ll see how that develops – they will still come up but I can’t see a title challenge in terms of the players they have.

“They have five loan players just now. They’ll need to change that for next season but it’s hard in Scottish football in terms of money.

“Look at the position we’re in buying players and we’ve got the best finances within Scotland.

“It’s about finding bargains which we’ve done on a couple of occasions but it’s far more difficult to find these guys now.

“Attracting players to Scotland is difficult but so is paying them. Everyone wants them and down in England they command astronomical wages.

“Every club outwith the Premier League wants to find these players.

“If Rangers do come up they could charge more for season tickets and get the extra money that comes with being in the top division. But then they have to pay more for players – so you don’t know.”

Oh the backlash of Ajax, their all coming out the woodwork now aren't they? Who's the five players we've got on loan? They won the league on loan players. Three years to compete the level they are at? Which level is he refering to? Surely not a European level....

  11. With the Celtic supporters calling for blood on almost all fronts Mr John Collins comes up with " It could be worse we could be Rangers.

So we have Lord livingstone a celtic boardmember wanting to cut their tax credits,

Mr Lawell sitting on their credit account

Their Chairman Mr Bankier crediting the supporters of being criminal Racists.

And against ajax their team got no credit at all.

Yes mr Collins you have got a brass neck i will give you credit for that.

At the Celtic AGM the board wanted the club to get nearer to their roots and are stopping selling pies and switching to Jacket potatos grown in Ireland. In Ireland they use donkey manure to fertilize the potato plants so that it gives them Donkey jacket potato's.

Celtic always sing the praise of terrorist organisations.

This was clear at the Ajax game where all their support were shouting Ye haddies.

Outside the ground inflatable terrorist rubber sex dolls were on sale. They were very popular as they blow themselves up.

Scott Allen finally got a game in Green brigade colours and shot himself in the foot.

Poor charlie Mulgrew out injured for months and on his comeback gets a severe dose of tunnel vision.

A blogger in the daily Rhecord says Rangers want to emulate Celtic and Celtic are in a phase of transition. Looking at the meaning of phase transition it is: the change between a solid and a liquid.: Bullshit to Diarrhoea?

    Taxi!!!!

    Would you credit that...
