  2. I just found this on the Manchester City Council website. Some useful information for the travelling Bears.

    Guide

I see the walking route to the stadium will be Orange for the Rangers supporters. They know how to make us feel welcome don't they. ;)

  3. I was starting to think along these line. As you've said above, he started off well and I was beginning to think he was a real find but he's been a bit of a passanger in the last few games he's played. Is there anything in the fact he didn't play on Saturday? Or did he have a knock?

Obviously WS sees him in training and since he came back he's not done bad with the signings he's made so I'm confident The Gaffer will make the right decision.

  4. Poor show - seems a lot of this happening recently.

One thing I have noticed this season is that the wee buggers who ask for a '£1 to watch yer motor, mister' seem to have disappeared?

At least getting the tickets after the game possibly stopped you losing them in the theft if you had got them before it mate.

I know, imagine that. I would have been devasted but I don't think I'll let those tickets out my sight until Wednesday.

Fortunately it's a company car and it's the company's insurance so apart from my ipod and a few cd's being nicked (which were well hidden and out of sight i must add) there is not a great loss to me persnonally but it's the first time thats happened to me so it did make me feel a bit shaken up by the whole thing.

  5. :(

    Where did you park?

I park at the Govan Bowling Club.

I've parked there for years and never had any problems before. Normally you get some kids who ask for a quid but we were up a bit earlier to try and get our Uefa tickets so no one was around. And as we were much later getting back to the car all the other cars had gone and it was on it's own.

  6. I certainly do mate, our company takes clients to Ibrox hospitality every home game, dont know if that helped but we got 8 in our allocation, i thought they were just taking our top clients but thankfully my boss seen fit to spare 1 for me.

Waited 2 hours before the game today to pick it up, didnt want to miss the game, was still ages from the front at 5 to 3 so i just went into the game, went to join the qeue after the game because it was open till 4 and the steward told me there was no point because the qeue was at least 2 hours long and it was 10 to 3 at that point. Need to get over there early tomorrow.

Dont want to really look forward to it till i have the ticket in my hand.

i went with my Bro to collect our tickets before the game. The steward told us that we would be waiting for 2-3 hours so we left and went to the game. We joined the queue at around 3 after the game and i didn't get the ticket until around 6:30. When we got to the front we realised there were only 4 windows operating.:brick: A total shambles if you ask me. They should have put more people on, especially as it was a match day.

Then to top it all off, when I got back to my car i discovered it had been broken in to. The drivers window was smashed in and they had gone through every compartment.

  7. YOu didnt get 2 by any chance and therefore fancy selling me one???

Sorry I got only one and I'm afraid nobody is getting it.

I hope you manage to get one.

Somone has already offered my bro a grand for his but he said no way.

  8. Just watching CNN over here and they have just ran a good / bad story, how rangers are chasing an historic quadruple, and damming the SPL for the part they are playing in this, also ran the interview with George Burley slating them.GREAT EXPOSURE FOR THE SPL !!!!!

I read an interview with Advocaat yesterday and he was also heavily criticising the SPL. He even mentioned that during his time as manager he tried to overhaul the whole Scottish youth setup but they wouldn't even listen to Bert Van Lingen, so he told him to stop going to the meetings.

    Total numpties

  9. I'm staying in Blackpool on Tuesday night then heading into Manchester on Wednesday morning. I'll definately make an effort to meet up with the gersnet guys & gals (lauren) (we definately used to have more female posters, where have they all gone???) in Albert Square.

Keep the blue flag fying high!!!

  10. I'm just back from the game and I couldn't agree more with the above. The atmosphere was fantastic.

Loved the Fuck The SPL song near the end. I think that one will be around for years to come.

Come on Rangers let's stick two fingers up at the SPL and win the quad.

  11. I'm sure we'll make ourselves heard. Everyone I go to the games with have all got tickets and outside the official Rangers end I'm sure we'll be spread all over the ground.

Although the prawn sandwich brigade get their allocation there will still be thousands of hard core fans at the game.

  12. Yaaaassssssssss!!!! I got my ticket confirmation from Rangers this morning.

    Manchester here we come!!!!

Tell all the tims you know, we're Manchester bound and you're no!

    :drink::rfc::drink::rfc:

  13. Like many others I ticked everything last season and have done for a number of years now. Yet still no ticket, which is fair enough as there are thousands of other bears int he same boat. However (Rant time)............

Some of these T*ats that have paid over the odds for tickets won in the ballot in march have never been to Ibrox yet alone know where it is. It is winding me up as the real fans are suffering from Uefa's ludicrious descision to ballot 13 thousand to the average punter. They tell us to stay away from ticket touts yet there stupidness is allowing this to happen.

For me UEFA should have took there 7000 for sponsors (F*ck knows why they need that much), and split 37000 between the finalists then if there are any left they could ballot the rest.

Seems logical to me........... Any thoughts?? lol

Totally agree mate. I've no idea why they did the ballot so early before even the quarter finals had been decided. Why couldn't they have waited until the finalists had been decided in order ensure as many go to the right fans as possible. There are probably Sporting Lisbon, Leverkusen, Getafe fans out there with final tickets wondering what to do with them and there are thousands of bears out there screaming for tickets.

  14. I'd cum in my pants if I looked at my statement to see Rangers have debited my account when it is probably a final ticket!!

I almost did at the time but I wan't to get official confirmation from Rangers before I let it all go

  15. Yeah i'm on the CCS but I've not heard anything from Rangers yet. Although I checked my credit card today and they confirmed a payment of £55 is pending so without jumping the gun I assume I've been allocated a ticket?????

  16. the itv4 coverage has been outstanding this season. STV and the rest of the scottish media should be ashamed of themselves.

It's a sad sad day when he have to rely on the coverage of another country to boost the profile of our wonderful club.

Walker, Burley, Keevins, Traynor, McKnee, Spiers and the rest of you GIRUY
