  1. No we weren't. There were many who assumed that we were and that is why they are wailing now. Look the current board inherited these contracts from the previous board. We, 'the watchers' were not vigilant at that time and so from my perspective we are somewhat complicit. Slowly but surely this board have whittled away at the original contracts to the point where they are almost unrecognisable from the original. There is still a long road to travel yet and if you have no stomach for the fight then thats OK you dont have to be.
  2. You're strategy is important as you've made comment based mainly in appeal to emotion couched in conjecture.
  3. It is not available yet and may not be available until FOI has been requested. In the meantime all I have to go on is the same information that would be available to you via the usual sources. Conspiracy theory? With headlines like 'Rangers hit with 500k in legal fees and ordered to make peace' is misleading at the very best. Although its no inaccurate that the total would amount to that sum his Lordship directed his make peace towards SDI in relation to their business dealing and that they were 'messing around' those are serious words from him that are mostly omitted from any of the press articles.
  4. You don't think that omitting many of the findings of the court are relevant or that the courts costs are in actual fact not simply for this one issue but others also? I'm sorry poster when the narrative is controlled in such a fashion there doesn't need to be lies printed its simple enough to just omit detail to draw alternative conclusion.
  5. In not so flowery language you think its incompetence. I think you've been very clear about your opinion on the matter. However thats not what I asked you. So explain to the forums exactly what your strategy would have been going into the Club as a new board with the existing SD contracts and plot the course clearly here for all to see. Thanks in advance.
  6. I'm also extremely concerned that the only journalist covering the hearing was from the Press Association. The import being that Murdoch MacLennan is its chairman. We all know the associations/conflicts of interest with regards to Mr MacLennan. Therefore since the press circulation is derived from this one single source, effectively Dermot Desmond and his place men are running the entire propaganda wing with regards to Scottish football authorities and Scottish MSM.
  7. I was under the impression that it would only be the case if we hadn't had an offer from the market however on reading his Lordships words it may well be the case that that part of the existing contract carries over.
  8. The current board have got a few things way wrong in my opinion. The appointment of Pedro and the McInnes saga being a couple of them and I'm all for holding them accountable for those mistakes. However you are convinced you have a handle on how the current board have fucked up handled this SD contract. I guess this would go out to those like Buster who also think like you too. What would your proposal and strategy have been/be?
  9. Do you often get a case of the vapours?
  10. I don't think you understand that it doesn't matter where yo buy the strip SD will receive something.
  11. Thanks right on cue. EDIT: previous years statement.
  12. Words are the trouble with legalese. By that I mean when a judge says something that appears to mean a thing in common English it doest necessarily reflect what it means from a legal stand point. So we have some of the judges words but I'd wait for the Clubs position on it and his words in writing to be absolutely clear what it entails.
  13. I wouldn't go as far as to say that the executive management has been awful. What I would say is that the previous board arranged the 7p in the £1 contract with SDI/Ashely in the first place and the current executive has been slowly but surely working to extricate the club from that horrendous contract. We now have a matched contract to JD where the club is in a much stronger position financially and as has been reported legally today. We're getting there.
  14. As I understand it the roll over only occurred if there was not offer from the market which since an offer was received from JD would satisfy that so no it wouldn't roll over.
  15. Its Sheffield Wednesday and Judging by that they should be further along than they are.
  16. We lifted the pace of the game after the break and Wigan couldn't live with it. I'd expect that given where they are in they're pre-season. They do look like a decent team that when up to speed will cause many problems in the Championship in the new season. First look at The Flute suggests he's a fair bit away in terms of his fitness but showed some nice touches and will be a handful for some SPFL defenders. The young lad Kelly only got 10-15mins towards the end but he looked neat and tidy and always showed for the ball. Middleton went to left back and was caught out once or twice but he's showing that he's versitile and can play pretty much anywhere on that left hand side. Madden gives a pen for who knows what that Wes saves. We're progressing nicely.
  17. That was pretty flat and boring other than a wee 5 minute spell where things got a bit taste after a poor tackle on Candeias. Middleton looks like a player I'd like to see more of in a Rangers shirt, Ejaria has floated in and out of the game but what he's done has been fairly impressive. The lad Bradly had a few wobbles around the 15-20 minute mark but he's settled down as the half wore on. Docherty has been pretty poor in midfield and McRorie looks exactly what he is a young lad learning his trade. Other than that theres not been much in it from my perspective.
  18. Manager said he'd be involved at some point on Sunday. I'd guess he wont play in the return leg but regardless who does we'll need to be patient.
  19. I thought we looked quite nervous at times in defence Tav had one of his off games other than the ball in for Morelos goal. Both Flanagan and Katic looked a half yard off the pace but battled through it as the tried to play round us on either wing. Kent looks like he could be dangerous once he's match sharp and put a proper shift in. Jack and Coulibaly in midfield looked fairly solid and that tackle just outside our box from Coulibaly in the last few minutes was something we've been missing in there for a long time it was a great tackle at first I though that guys not getting up from that. Looks promising as we build our team for the new season.
  20. Defence looks more nervous than they should. We're a bit slack in possession at times and we need to cut out the supply to their left winger. All in all we look like a team thats in the process of being built.
  21. Oh thats simple mate Ann knows where the bodies are buried.
