  1. Forum chewed up my long post and I cant be bothered typing it all out again.... DELETE pls
  2. I like Pedro I can see what he's trying to do and I wouldn't want him sacked until he's had a right good stab at it with a team he's built. If he does get the bag, as much as I like Derek he's a good lad I wouldn't have McInnes nor would I have or Walter... however Tommy Wright I would have.
  3. Wait what? I've very little time for the likes of Tommy Robinson but this clown acting as part of a group who threw an incendiary device into an enclosed building with women and children inside, smashed the windows, caused affray and breached the peace walks away with a 12 month conditional discharge (differed sentence) £105 costs and £100 compensation order. So effectively a £200 fine for what they did is absolutely ludicrous!
  4. We used the exact same tactic at home to a Barcelona team consisting of Ronaldinho, Messi and Theiry Henry in 2007 effectively gaining us a very valuable point in the CL.The press in spite of Barcelonas slick passing and creative play, if I remember correctly, termed them as *Wasteful*. Really? In fact Cousin could have gained us all 3 points if he'd netted a great chance with about 10 minutes to play. I don't remember anyone on our side complaining about the type of negative football we played that night but rather lauded it as a fantastic defensive performance. Not forgetting that we scored a perfectly good goal against Hearts, that for the life of me, I have no idea why it was chalked off? I cant blame Hearts for adopting the tactic nor can I complain that we were unsuccessful against it when we've done it ourself to teams who were, on paper, supposedly much better than ourselves. I'm disappointed that we didn't secure the win that we wanted but to be shouting 'Oi Vey!' about it three games into a season is hypocritical in the extreme.
  5. I dont think there were any physical tickets at all... it appears to be a name on the door type thing.
  6. I believe all the tickets for it sold out within 35 mins of being available.
  7. Theres probably 3-4 who played in that game who needed a recovery schedule but other than that the rest would have trained as normal Pete. I also think he's saying the team is galvanized because of the nature of the last match from both his perspective and what he's seeing coming from the players themselves. We talk about 'gelling' the team all the time and how is PC going to make that happen yet when he comes out and says we're getting stronger in the face of adversity after that defeat somehow for some he is talking shite? Come on!
  8. Ally Dawson could be considered in that category not because of his scintillating play, although he was a decent player, more for his service to the club. That Iain Ferguson certainly isn't though.
  9. Your images don't seem to be displaying CS. 2nd one and the accompanying text is... Hey guys! Sorry that this is taking so long, but because I am doing both halves separately, it'll likely take me twice as long. Take a look at the work in progress that is first half pass map. Let us know what you think. Hodson's performance is improved, as he is sharper with more match practice, but still not as much of a creative hub as Tavernier. What I found most interesting is that Pedro has the centre of our team pumping like pistons - one week it's Dorrans leading forward, the next is Jack. Jack, by the way, was playing superbly before he was sent off. He made two crosses, was the main producer for Kenny and was helping overload their left back Hanlon. Also notice the positions of Windass and Candeias - they went wider than the previous game, with our wingbacks underlapping as opposed to overlapping.
  10. He's the classic example of a concern troll. He regularly films and broadcasts from the offices of the Record showing little or scant regard for the ordinary staffers working there on print media who are often caught on film while working in the background.
  11. Have you ever heard Kevin Thompson talking about Walters instructs prior to playing against them with him in the team? Making it a battle on the park was a legit tactic to get under their skin and beat them. Lennon does the exact same thing with his teams now as a manager. He is however also a mouthy nasty little ned who carries the nastiness on off the field. I agree with you essentially but it doesn't make it all right if there is crowd trouble on either part. Individually if we are reduced to the same level and cant control ourselves when some wee nyaff is throwing shade at us during a football match then its time to chuck it.
  12. To tell you the truth Darther I couldn't give a monkeys about what Lennon does towards the stands he's a half wit that i wouldn't rise to. What concerns me about the situation is that our coaching staff felt he did something that they found disrespectful enough to merit complaint to police and that is not acceptable in any work place.
  13. Yes, yes this is true TB. They are running with the Lennon story because they feel its the easiest to rubbish. Although it should be the topic it would be much harder for the SMSM to debate the game and referees performance. We've let them away with taking liberties for the last five years its obvious to me thats not going to be allowed to continue at least by our support so as far as I'm concerned its one battle at a time.
  14. I was going to just leave my comment about click bait as it stood but I want to say more. From the headline its laughable what this guy is suggesting. We're monitored every moment of the day. We're filmed going to work, coming home from work, on buses, trains and walking along the street especially if you live and work in a city. if you work in a bar, bank or post office and many other jobs where one might interact with the general public or where cash is stored you're filmed while you're AT work too. Our online publications and comments on social media are monitored, stored and scraped in databeses along with the now obligatory telecommunications message one might receive when calling a help line of any sort that 'your call will be monitored for training purposes'. All of which are ripe pickings for advertisers. These journalists are the very people who've been telling us repeatedly for the last 10 years and more that its a good thing for security and that if we have nothing to hide then we've got nothing to worry about! Yet somehow, oddly enough, when Rangers film a press conference and the cameras and recording devices are not only pointed at the Rangers staff member its taken as an altogether more sinister development. Gies peace Mr Jackson... If you've nothing to hide you've nothing to worry about!
  15. Just more click bait from a complete clownshoe. I expect to see a lot more of this sort of thing from the usual suspects because they know their publications are going down the toilet fast.
  16. If the courts see it as a breach of the year long football banning order that he received under the Offensive behaviour at football and threatening communications act 2012 then he may well be supping some porridge.
  17. Absolutely Darther! You're also correct that Club 1872 may not be able to directly effect change. However there is no reason why they cannot be positioned as a focal point, or spearhead, for any discussion or action/s in taking us forward.
  18. I agree with pretty much everything you've said above 26th. There is a very definite, from my perspective, 'othering' of Rangers and Rangers supporters in play today mainly from fans groups but also amplified and confirmed through the SMSM. However I'm not convinced as yet of the sentiment in your last sentence, which may well be true, but I would need the club to confirm for me that they have presented their case though the correct channels, are consistently, being met with resistance via extended bureaucracy etc etc etc which would have the effect of exhausting all avenues available.
  19. If Stokes get a red for essentially clotheslining Tav then Jack does not get a red later. He should never have been allowed to remain on the pitch. I can see no rhyme nor reason why Tav receives a booking for the initial incident as he didn't lift his hands gesture his head or any other movements that could be interpreted as an offence. He's been booked in that scenario for taking umbrage at the the treatment dished out by Stokes. I'm completely baffled by many of the referee's decisions on Saturday and in my opinion he should never referee another SPFL match based on that display.
  20. About time, his behaviour towards the Rangers support in the main stand was reprehensible.
  21. No Coop I don't know you or what your personality is like. A posting/writing style does not necessarily reflect a persons personality. Just to recap quickly the comment you made in your post informs me that in your opinion the Scottish Government are briefing/advising the Chief of Police to instruct his officers not to investigate the complaints into Neil Lennons behaviour at Ibrox on Saturday. Really? Yours are not the only comments that I regard as absolutely fucking ridiculous... From my perspective its not a personal singling out. Its more that I'm sick and tired of reading bat shit crazy nonsense from otherwise intelligent people. If you want to ignore what I have to say thats your call... fill your boots!
  22. Thats fair enough and I agree with you that we should be beating them because that makes a point also. However if a complaint has been made to the police then they have to investigate it. Its relevant because the police are often redundant in action citing that no complaint had/has been made. In this case that cant happen as a number of complaints have been made by various different people and organisations. So regardless of what Tom English or any of the other churnalsits say its a process that, once begun, has to be concluded.
  23. I'm rarely offended by anything. Neither your post, nor any of its contents, offend me in the slightest. However such comments IMO look and feel very similar to the type of comments made by a particular brand of 'moon howlers' that we often berate here. My reply was an appeal to reason and logic as opposed to the pathos employed within the post I highlighted as it did detract from any argument you may have been making.
  24. I think you're right in that we should have responded better and that Hibs went on to control the game where we should have worked harder to impose ourselves. I don't believe either that the referee was paid to cheat but I do find it difficult to believe that anyone could be as incompetent as he was yesterday. In saying that though I do understand why you made the post in the first place.
  25. This is a forum with various sub forums where you can voice and debate political and other opinions. This section here however is primarily concerned with football and in particular matches/match analysis/team news/transfers/tactics of Rangers Football Club. I'm highlighting your extremely myopic perspective, your constant references to conspiracy, and especially with regards to politics. In fact I'd go as far as to say you sound almost as demented as half of the 'Yessers' did during the referendum and I was asking you politely to give it a rest.
