  1. Its exactly what it sounds like... Flairing a topic or issue thats really just bait to illicit approval/agreement from like minded individuals.
  2. First of all in relation to Gonzo. The police as part of their duty must carry out an investigation if a complaint is made. Since we know that Rangers staff already made a complaint, the statement above, also indicates a complaint is being made not only by individuals but also a major share holder and fans organisation. Secondly to Coop I refer to the above they have no choice and please enough already with the flair bating.
  3. Pedro tells the interviewer We Are The People
  4. Theres no if ands or buts about it the referee completely ruined that game today. Not only that but his choice of bookings after the red card for Ryan Jack were also dubious.
  5. I have no idea what is going on in our game these days. A straight red for protecting a team mate from a player who has run 20-30 yards to challenge them a non issue... reds are generally for violent conduct but as far as that was concerned I have no idea what that was for?
  6. Good read You might want to fix this though as its Ryan Jack.
  7. David and Cammy discuss the 2-1 win over Motherwell, the new Spanish sensation in midfield and yet more 'campaign' madness from the dark side. https://www.acast.com/heartandhands/holasenordoorans-
  8. It was a great idea when they thought it wouldn't apply to them.
  9. The language used often seems somewhat of a distraction to the pertinent issues. Which are of course adversity and discrimination! In fact the LGBT community is not some homogeneous or ubiquitous thing as it has various different sub sets within. Some with many subtle differences. Indeed they don't all refer to themselves in the same way which kind of makes a mockery of a set language which is deemed, by polite society, as acceptable to define those sub sets. Nor do they appreciate the virtue signalling of career politicians or anyone else for that matter defining their identities for them. In fact some people I have spoken to will simply not have those very same white knights or politicians redefine the adversity and struggle for them. Why would they? The key is in the word inclusive... which by very definition has a universal quality to it.
  10. This will be anecdotal evidence I know however there are, I'm fairly confident, BOS and RBS ties through at least two people that I know of from their side. Why wouldn't there be in the business world? My cousin married a lass whose father was a BOS chief at the time that the reign of Fergus McCann was beginning to take shape. At the reception there were two guests on the brides side namely one Dominic Keane and another fella named Brian Dempsey who were close personal friends and associates of her father. Keane didn't say too much, although very plausible, but we had quite a lengthy chat with Dempsey at our table who was surprisingly frank about various issues that we had with their situation at that time. Spurred on by the pitch of our questions he spoke about the interconnected relationships those on the higher rungs of the Scottish business world have with each other and how important those relationships are for each others survival (at that time it was about their survival). It was clear from the discussion what their intention was for their club and to what extent Murray and by proxy Rangers part in the situation would be in order to help stabilize an untenable, from their perspective, developing situation. it was described to us by Dempsey as an absolute necessity that they maintain that relationship and work together after he and his associates had succeed. Nothing of what he said seemed in the slightest out of kilter from a business perspective and it was also obvious to us from the reasoned yet passionate arguments that his credibility or commitment to his club and to the above mentioned business agreements were genuine. He said something that, to me at least, was obvious and that these Joe O'Rourkes either don't, cant or simply refuse to understand. He said 'We both need each other'. As far as a rivalry and also the business world of entertainment is concerned I find that very difficult to argue against. EDIT: Keane however went on to have a somewhat chequered future at Livingston when he had some issues in 2009 with Haughey and McGuinness the lottery winner. The original lone however came from RBS.
  11. I would have given him a 5 possibly a 6 if I hadn't noticed that he gave no recognition to Herrera for a very good attempt to put him in on goal he never even acknowledged him not even a look nothing. That sort of thing pisses me right off!
  12. Good wee bit of fun that and its quite interesting too. It seems to show that Miller was being fed the ball by roughly 6 players including Herrera but never fed Herrera enough passes to register even 3 passes. It seems like there is a degree of truth in that. I seen something from him on Sunday at one point that sort of annoyed me. Herrera tried to feed him in on the right hand edge of the Motherwell box with a slide rule pass and it looked to me to be exactly the type of pass that Miller would eat up all day long but he never made an effort to pick it nor did he even acknowledge the attempt from Herrera I really did not like that one bit.
  13. BBC Scotland I grant you is littered with Left wing labour party place men. However the BBC as a whole has always been a media used primarily as a UK government propaganda vehicle which since the 2'nd great war was anti-Stalinist in flavour (irrespective of which government was in office) you only need to look at staff member 9889's credentials to understand this.
  14. Foderingham 7 Hodson 3 Cardoso 6 Alves 6 Wallace 4 Jack 6 Dorrans 8 Candeias 6 Windass 7 Miller 4 Herrera 6 Subs : Tavernier 6 Wilson 5 Morelos 5
  15. The BBC Trust no longer exists dB and hasn't done since April/May this year when the UK Government had more or less implemented all of its shake up plans that it started in Sept 2016. It is in actual fact OFCOM who regulate the BBC now. EDIT: to clarify when the changes began.
  16. It didn't help that Pedro, temporarily, moved him to the right wing to cover Hodson who looked as if he was running through treacle today. I don't think Hodson is anywhere near fit enough, or smart enough, for the work he needs to put in in this team. Both our full backs were also found wanting at their equalizer. Wallace should have closed down the wide man and Hodson should have got his body in front of the big defender that got on the end of the cross. In saying that I still think Wes should have cleared out the lot.
  17. They got their right back (Tait I think he's called) to play deeper and the right centre closer to him to cover the inside run.
  18. The way Motherwell played today I thought like the pre-match write up that we were back in 78'. Long ball, throwing crosses in from deep there was virtually no football about them at all. mind you, they'll probably do well enough in the SPFL this year with that but it was garbage to watch. We were a much better team than the score line suggests. Cardoso and Alves had this game under control Hodson wasn't up to par and so they piled up on his area of the pitch with 3-4 at times. Wallace/Windass either of them should have closed down the cross for their goal much quicker and Fod could have cleared out everything coming for it but he's still seems a little apprehensive at the moment probably a hangover from what he's been playing with the last couple of seasons. A good result from us and I think we'll get a lot better.
  19. Of course I'd like to win it and finally complete the journey. However perm any one position from the top three would do me provided we were able to show a decent improvement on last years points tally. If we win at least 80-90% of our matches then I'd settle for that this year.
  20. Excellent detail in that pre-match piece. If memory serves me their old terracing at the Rangers end at least was a bit like Hampden, in that. the front of it was a fair bit lower than the pitch which is where I'd go to watch from ( was a 15 year old at that time and wanting to be with my mates not my da), my old man and the rest of his mates further behind us on the terracing. I've have a recollection of my old man grabbing me by the shuch of the neck out there at one of the games because the well fans were going nuts for one reason or other and we (down the front) being close to them were directly in the firing line.
  21. What? You're post content seems rather thin? You're assessment of my post is that I'm paranoid because I commented that I felt Lee Wallace was struggling uncomfortably during the interview? It was merely an observation on my part.
  22. He is intelligent and he does realise how something might be interpreted when he is speaking which is why in this particular interview he keeps on talking when he's already answered the question because he knows how it could be interpreted. In other words he's masking how uncomfortable he is with the questions by trying to talk all the way through it to some point where he is comfortable. You're correct in that he's also fairly honest and from that interview what I could see was someone recalling emotions. The only time I felt he wasn't being honest was when he was talking about his new team mates. From my perspective he was creating a scenario that he wished to be true but wasn't necessarily so. In spite of that one issue, which is kind of understandable, I feel he struggled uncomfortably through it.
  23. I thought he struggled with that interview.
