  1. Asked about whether Villa are receiving a fee for Lescott, owner Dr Tony Xia replied on Twitter: "No. Sorry for that." Why do I think that it was not a Villa supporter who asked this?
  2. Maybe they are used to getting their own way. Hard to credit that, I know, but.......
  3. I clean forgot their expertise in International politics and diplomacy, which those who watch may see in full bloom tonight. Who knows? Who can fathom such great minds? Hopefully, they will forfeit the tie, but only after arrests, and skull cracking in Israel. Their devotion to Islamists and sectarian butchers, such as Hamas and Hizbollah is a symptom of their ignorance, and innate anti-semitism.
  4. Yes, indeed. And how did we manage to slip so far behind the green mhankies in knowledge of Business Law, Business Administration, Accountancy, Insolvency Principles and Practice, Taxation Law and Practice, Private Company Accountancy, Public Company Accountancy, Building Surveying, Valuation Surveying, Financial Forecasting, to name only a few subjects in which even the meanest of the hooped whores has expertise (and is happy to promulgate his considere opinion)?
  5. Gentlemen, ffs!! Please realise -and admit- that the fhilth only ever sign 2 types of player 1. Stars of true International class 2. wunderkinder The difference lies not in levels of ability, but merely in age. Depressing, I know, but we cannot deny it.
  6. 'Joleon' putting 'Leigh' into the Enclosure at The Piggery. Hope MW has the, ahem, foresight to sign him.
  7. Can't they just do what they did in the past: raise the money by selling each other their siblings?
  8. Wot? No deprecation of the Bishop of Rome? Not the work of Rangers' supporters, then, m'lud.
  9. Presumably, Bowen interviewed SFA officials, and the Police, either or both of whom averred that there was no evidence of a pre-planned invasion. It would be interesting to know the actual amount of research Bowen/his team undertook in this regard, given the categoric nature of the report's finding.
  10. Taking "what he can get" at Ibrox, implies that there is no queue of potential employers, which is not a great testimony to his current abilities.
  11. And if he does have to "take what he can get".....?
  12. Neither Poker nor Pokemon. Pogoing, maybe.......once......upon a time.
  13. Fun? Perhaps those of us baffled by the discussion get out too much.
  14. Warburton is not shopping @Harrods. But neither does he seem to be an impulse buyer, and he has always stressed that he wants a 'lean' -read manageable- squad. Cummings looks like a player. However, I think of his predecessors up front in Leith: specifically, and recently, O'Connor, and Riordan, both boys with talent, but too much of the East Coast ned in their personalities, for comfort. For his sake, I hope he is not bound to extend this lineage.
  15. It's not much evidence, but if it is representative, he'll do!!
  16. Is Joe Garner the player who scores the cracking goal in the current SkyBet advert?
  17. Seb Rozental. A Jewish boy from Chile. I remember that The Daily Record, having borrowed an atlas, and established that Chile was in South America, deduced from that research, that the country, and everyone in it, must be Kafflick, printed a story which claimed that Rangers' management had instructed him never, ever, to bless himself, with the sign of the cross, in the view of the support, in view of the support. Then as now, not fit to line the cage of an incontinent parrot.
  18. Senderos was a rumour last week, I think; maybe the week before. I don't know if he still has whatever it was he had in the 1st place. My immediate recollection is of a player prone to injury and bouts of flakiness. However, I may be wrong.
  19. The game should have been buried by HT. Miller missing gilt edge chances, and a gift goal from a set piece combined to make it a bit more difficult.
  20. Scratch the surface of an "anti-Zionist", and more often than not, you will find a slavering Jew-baiter. These sellik people are merely useful idiots, at best, or screaming shills, at worst, for the Islamists of Hamas and Hezbollah.
  21. "...an Edinburgh based digital marketing consultant..." Says it all, really.
  22. Those of us who may be styled cruciverbalists will ken that a "fiacre" is a small horse drawn carriage. The name originates, it appears, from St Fiacre, who somewhere along the line became patron saint of cab drivers. (I know, I know.) The question is how to pronounce it, when used as a forename, like Fiacre Kellaher, rasellik loanee. My Bishopton Loyal correspondent suggests "fucker", and who am I to disagree?
  23. Knowing how the referee will be likely to deal with, say, scrum. lineout, and offside, can be helpful; very helpful. In football, knowing the predilections, and peccadilloes of the referee may likewise be helpful. Such knowledge may not be as significant as it is in Rugby, but, as someone said, every little helps.
