  1. Can we possibly avoid bigotry around here?
  2. Nice bit of elaborate sensationalistic generalisation there. First off a newco does not mean the club's history is wiped out. Does it mean trophies are removed? No. It also gives us an opportunity to apply for the lower leagues in England.
  3. I'm not sure why it all has to be done within a deadline? Although I slightly object to Ally suggesting liquidation is a possibility - what he said afterwards was more accurate, that we simply do not know.
  4. Ok, I may be wildly off base here, so apologies if I say anything offensive, but... I've read on this forum that you are in a wheelchair - not sure if that was true, but it would be a pretty dire thing to say if it was innaccurate. She is also in a wheelchair, and Forlan considers her his inspiration and she's why he's a footballer at all. That's from a quick google. Is that anything like correct?
  5. I have a random question for you. What does your name mean? The literal interpretation is something to do with being the sister of Diego Forlan, but that's a bit too obvious and...bizarre. Especially as you appear to be male? Just being nosy

    The hatchet truly buried?
  7. I use Sky Sports and I eat Mars Bars. I like both. I hate the SFA. I don't eat McDonalds or use the services of a lot of the other sponsors. I sort of understand why this boycott has been proposed, but at the end of the day all we'd end up doing is losing out on the services of massive companies. They are not going to stop sponsoring SFA given contracts are in place legally. So all the boycott is doing is hurting their profits and isn't really making any difference to their sponsorship of the SFA. It's the SFA directly we should target, not their sponsors. Some way to publicly discredit the SFA and encourage sponsors to withdraw at the end of their contracts.
  8. Want Cardiff to go up. They've been up for promotion forever and never seem to get there. Plus have one or two former Rangers players. Maybe more. I'd like to see them finally break their duck.
  9. In Spain it's half that. 750M. Modern football is badly in debt. In saying that, half of that is Barca.
  10. He's probably been too busy with the SSN hotties.
  11. It's pretty self explanatory really and it further proves how much the SPL needs Rangers. In Lomas', and other diddy teams' case, they'll attract players on the basis of said player getting to play the big matches at Parkhead and Ibrox, and hopefully a stepping stone to moving to either club. And getting to play in the world-renowned OF match itself. So if one of these clubs' survival is threatened, the player may well think twice about joining a diddy club. Also the plain fact that this admin period is a shocking advert for Scottish football - our league, as appallingly unattractive as it already was, is hardly a 10/10 now!
  12. You deleted me Zaps. I feel so violated
  13. There's definitely division in the discussion this blog has raised. Some do still completely blame Murray for all this.
  14. He'd spent what we had. Whittaker, Naismith, McCulloch, Thomson etc. The Hutton money appeared to go into reducing the debt. Pretty much because we didn't have anything left till we sold Cuellar. Even after that we spent more than the £7.5 we gained from his sale. Close to 16M quid - no wonder we remain in debt!
  15. Yup, more and more bears seem to be realising it's completely Whyte's fault.
  16. I've received the figures from our resident financial expert. We were in debt to the tune of 5.9M by the 30th of June 2006, but 3 years later it had risen to 31M. We got it back down to 18M but that's hung over us since then. Walter spent a lot of money second time round, (about 30M) and that's the debt we remain in.
  17. Ibrox Noise - Why the Hell Have we Been in Administration Anyway? I know we were not in a great state prior to Whyte's takeover, but it seems to me that a lot of us have previously taken administration as an inevitability. Feedback appreciated chaps.
  18. I have been against TBK from the start, but Kennedy's presence in this I find more reassuring. He's a credible businessman who's controlled the Sharks for years. I still don't trust TBK at all, but if Kennedy is willing to work with them then maybe this isn't so bad.
  19. Talking to yourself is the first sign of madness
  20. Fleck's crap. He's failed at Blackpool for God's sake. He's not got it.
  21. Just to clear one thing up - this is asking for us to boycott these companies in light of the fact they sponsor the national game/SFA? Have I got this correct?
  22. Fragile as glass but incredible potential. If he can stay fit then he could be a terrific player for years to come.
  23. Probably the best post on here in some time.
