  1. I would like to see this officially confirmed before I believe anything.
  2. What are you saying here, that DM is is gonna sell to PLG? Or Bain? Or...?
  3. Harsh. Admittedly they're loud American brash Yanks (Or at least that's how our media portrays them) but they aren't amateurs in this field and Man Utd look financially solid at the moment. They're multi-multi millionaires etc and you don't get that far if you're poor in your business.
  4. Let's not forget he's not in counselling for drug or alcohol addiction, it's for anger management. So yes, it's a mental disorder as such, but it's not an 'illness' so to speak. Not in the same way that alcoholism is, for example.
  5. Personally I think he's a total carthorse and worth nowhere near £5M.
  6. This is precisely what I thought as well. This transitional period for the Italians over the next year or so could play right into our hands.
  7. Aye, just saw that on the BBC site. That deal looked a cert to go through as well.
  8. Ditto - me too.
  9. He wasn't, I was just being as generous as possible to him seeing as I've never seen him being that brutish in the past. Benefit of the doubt and all that.
  10. I like sigs actually. You associate them with the user and they almost become part of their personality.
  11. I loathe Hamann. He's a thug. I've seen him commit career-threatening tackles on more than one occasion.
  12. Not having seen the other angle in bluenose lounge, I don't believe either of them. MM doesn't have a reputation as a liar, and neither does ZZ. But the fact both are contradicting each other tells me it's impossible to take sides in this affair. MM has said something naughty it seems, and ZZ has been out of line with his reaction. They're both idiots.
  13. Miller's 'tackle' was absolutely horrific. That is one of the worst attempts at getting the ball I've ever seen. So glad we didn't sign that wee thug on so many levels.
  14. I have to say he has waited too long to do this, but I'm glad he's trying to get help. "Troubled Rangers defender Fernando Ricksen has been referred to Tony Adams' Sporting Chance Clinic after being sent home from South Africa. The Dutchman was disciplined by new manager Paul Le Guen for "inappropriate behaviour" on the outbound flight. And Ricksen said: "I have met people who I feel can support me through this difficult stage and feel I can benefit from their counsel." The clinic helps tackle alcoholism, drug abuse, gambling and depression. "
  15. The story rumbles on. Conspiracy theorists are going nuts over it and I'm losing count of the number of varying interpretations of what was said. There are claims Marco insulted Zidane's wife, his mother, his heritage, even his former coach. Going by all this, Marco's been a busy boy
  16. I would really love to know how even the greatest lip readers in the world could decipher what Marco said from that footage. From the default image it's too small, and close up it would be too grainy. However, Marco has completely denied using the word 'terrorist' or 'whore' so unless he's lying... This story is never going to end. Tomorrow it will emerge that he told Zidane he was a smelly frog, or something.
  17. Irony's a great thing
  18. Fair enough - supporters seem split about McCormack - personally I think he's found his level, more or less. I also felt that at Doncaster in the Championship, which, with exception of Rangers, Celtic, and Hearts, is equal to the SPL.
  19. I'm with you on there. Even Champion the Wonderdog is better than Jeffers was for us. However I liked Nieto - he scored 3 times in 6 appearances and looked dangerous imo. He's ended up in the Spanish second division though...
  20. I think he's speculating based on the guy's apparent mentality of hard work, discipline and fitness, not to mention respect. He doesn't seem like the kind of manager who'll put fire in your bellies unless it is absolutely necessary, and pandering to a windup from Lennon isn't necessary imo.
  21. Worst team to come to Ibrox - so far all good shouts but I'm surprised the quite awful Sturm Graz who we gubbed 5-0 haven't been mentioned. Good at home but unspeakably terrible travelling.
  22. And the fact he's rubbish?
  23. A new right back now that Ricksen is pretty much out is a certainty. Even with him still in, we needed that position strengthened as Lowing's too young and raw, Hutton's too mediocre, and Ricksen's Ricksen. This Lyon guy is actually a good player; I know him by reputation. I'd be very happy if we signed him.
  24. Lennon's the tim we all love to hate. He's their windup merchant and that's what this is, a windup. Anyone who falls for his crap should give themselves a slap.
  25. Seriously Colsh, is that moment your entire justification of his ability?
