  1. Optimism? Pessimism? Caution? Anger? Fear? Disillusionment? We've been put through the emotional rollercoaster over the past month, and I was curious about overall feelings in general relating to the club and our situation? Not about any one thing in particular, but overall - what are your general emotions?
  2. Only if in 6 months time things start to go wrong with his regime and the SFA need to attack us again.
  3. Sounds pretty good to me too
  4. I have nothing against Red and Black
  5. I read the quotes on the BBC. I literally couldn't believe my eyes. He's moaning everyone's out to get Celtic? Seriously?
  6. I might be in the total minority, but after his sensationalist comments stating we were going to be liquidated, I don't want Dave King anywhere near the club. Thank you for the £20M and all that, very nice, but I don't want anyone with, and I quote myself: 'a sandwich board and a bell'.
  7. There's been so much going on in the past week I wasn't even sure what I wanted to write about this time. So I basically brought it down to its most basic level and spoke about how essential basic survival actually is - but that I urge caution over any good news as well. We bears have to be on our guard against the optimistic stuff as much as we do the negative garbage.
  8. Ibrox Noise: Survival of the Less Fit Comments and feedback appreciated as always
  9. Didn't make a bean from him Pete. And if we were healthy he'd still be gone.
  10. Save Rangers doesn't EXIST! It's hypothetical. And will not happen. You'd actually put your money into an anonymous website backed by Dingwall?
  11. In what way?
  12. I heard the most ridiculous rumour that AEG are an interested party.
  13. Then why bother to bring cancer into this? It's a really strange comparison. I'm with you on the level that his comments do smack of bitterness, but let's not trivialise one of the worst diseases of all time here.
  14. I literally do not care about Nikica Jelavic. Maybe I did the day we lost him, but in the weeks/months since then, other more important issues have rather superseded his departure.
  15. I think it's despite his regime rather than because of that we have reached our current possible recovery. If we do get through all this, I would appreciate the truth about why he took us over emerging - and I suspect he'll admit he took us over to take us into administration and was probably paid to do so. Remember, the one act which took us into admin was him not forwarding the PAYE tax.
  16. There are fan groups who still support whyte.
  17. Hartson makes some valid points but ruins his credibility by letting his allegiances dictate the tone. But if we do get a new owner, we might just be able to afford to keep these players.
  18. Not quite following how this fits in with the story in the OP?
  19. Good idea, and imo it should be extended to youtube vids.

    Welcome Thread

Afternoon. Run, while you still have your sanity... Welcome
  21. Roughly said the players have taken the cuts, Whyte may not be the main creditor, several buyers interested in taking over, and the Ticketus deal is close to collapse. We're now able to complete this season's fixtures, and while admin will continue for some months, most likely, the chances of liquidation have slimmed drastically in the last 2 days. We're also fighting in court for the 3.6M Whyte's lawyers took, but have a 4 way battle with others who consider themselves entitled to either all of it or some.
  22. I posted the Boss story purely because it was information. Honestly I considered it the usual hogwash I'm used to from people with 'unnamed sources'. And it's proven to be so.
  23. In their final seasons? Dick lost by a mile to MON's revolution, and Eck was crushed by WGS. Or do I misunderstand?
  24. You've done zero to persuade me that comparing his first season with their final seasons is valid in any way. They'd both come to the end of their eras and both were performing abysmally - the quality of the squad doesn't matter when the results are so poor. Both lost to Celtic. tbh, I don't see anything in your post which really addresses the point I made. If you want a fair comparison, you compare both Eck and Dick's first season with Ally's. Remember, Eck inherited a flaky Advocaat squad which was low on morale, and Dick spent a shitload of cash bringing in many new players which all had to gel immediately. Ally's first season has also seen many new players come in, even if quite a few were bad buys. I just don't think, on any level, comparing one manager's first season with any predecessor's final has a basis for fair reflection. If you do a stat comparison of their first seasons, I'd completely listen to that.
  25. I'm more on your side than CG's, but I have to take issue with your stats. You're comparing Ally's maiden season with Eck and Dick's final ones, seasons where the rails had come off and they were doing abysmally. Both lost those leagues. If you want to be accurate, comparing with their first seasons would be a bit fairer.
