  1. I think Halliday has been a changed man this season. His performances overall at LB have never been less than 6/7 out of ten imo. He has been solid, reassured and comfortable in the position. He also has a relationship with the other defenders now. Arguably he has been one of the most consistent performers this season, always delivering when required. Barasic is no doubt a quality player but personally I would be giving the jersey to Halliday until there is a reason not to?
  2. That would have made great PR for the Helsinki game btw?
  3. I think Ian was alluding to the manager suggesting Barasic was a little “fragile” therefore may not have the mental or physical fortitude for Rangers. On the other hand Andy Halliday has proved himself ten times over. I can’t believe the improvement in Halliday and it’s got to be a close call between the two of them? I would give the jersey to Halliday.
  4. Don’t care. Second string team, dodgy pitch, Baltic conditions and Thomson as the ref. 3-1 Victory-no injuries-fringe players get game time. Job done and everyone happy, well almost??
  5. I noticed this immediately on Snyde 26th. The two of them along with Gordon the host were all over the poor Lenny stuff. IIRC Keevins muddied the waters alluded to TLB resigning as he was too big for the club. All the clubs fault. I have no time for Guidi either, he is a dinosaur and comes across as a bully if I’m honest. Another one who will do what they are told by Liewell. Snyde has become more slanted and jaundice than ever since it has become a title race. I have no idea how/why Alex Rae works alongside them? Surely he can’t beed the money and he can’t be doing his credibility any good alongside those bitter shower of haters.
  6. Aye, I’m havering mate, ignore me! However, after last night I don’t see it happening? We were just so poor I think everyone’s heads a mess with it? Another plastic pitch at the weekend dosnt fill me with confidence either?
  7. ??? Can you imagine if they did though? Oh dear? It would be the meltdown of all meltdowns from St Pats!
  8. Where am I being paranoid Craig? Mentioning that the fixture list has afforded them momentum at crucial points of the season is not paranoia, it’s a fact. I also said coincidence or not and it probably is coincidence if we are being honest. However, you can’t deny it has presented them momentum and an advantage twice this season at crucial times. That may just be the luck of the draw but it’s there in black and white. This is all conjecture anyway. I don’t think we have enough to win the league. Wouldn’t it be great if Killie stopped their dream though? Can you imagine the meltdown??
  9. Have to say I completely agree with you on this dB. They have been given a clear advantage in scheduling momentum twice this season. Once at the beginning and now at the restart. How often do we hear “points on the board” and “a bird in the hand” and all that from other bears? It can’t be both ways? Coincidence or not they have a clear momentum building advantage.
  10. Completely agree with this and didn’t understand starting Defievladt night? Did Davis and Defoe offer anything that we already didn’t have last night? They were both well short of match fitness. I also feel there is zero chance of a partnership with Defoe and Alfie. It’s just the way Alfie is, he is a Lone Ranger and works on his own.
  11. The usual shambles! I’m sure we said before about the surface and it was commented whether everyone was 100% committed? It doesn’t look like it?
  12. Have to agree on tonight? I think he switches off in “lesser games” considering he was immense v St Pats.
  13. Worrall and Katic for me. I’m just glad we are back playing football again!
  14. I didn’t see it? Maybe someone will post??
  15. Aye another away tie ffs!
  16. That’s just incredible? Liewell will have another puppet with an agenda onboard.
  17. What was the reason for the noon kick off? Seams a crazy time for a Sunday friendly. A 3pm kick off would have been much more convenient imo. Looking forward to seeing Defoe though?
  18. On marginal decisions they will want to know the name, address, telephone number and lodge of the VAR!
  19. Aye, I mind always being told to keep my hand up on the shoulders of the guy in front. Never by my side. When you think back to the old terracing at the piggery and hampden it’s a miracle nothing bad ever happened there? There was a few times I remember crushing though. Thankfully the safe standing now being introduced is a world away from those days of the old terracings.
  20. I was surprised he got back up ffs?
  21. I sit at the front of Broamloan rearband that block in the second have was awe inspiring! It was goal bound and Halliday just through himself if front of an oncoming rocket with everything he had. Blue blood indeed and typified his performance.
  22. I thought it was still on either sky/BT or BBC? 2020 for the move to Premier I think?
  23. Killie are now regretting not taking the offer of cash when it was there due to the bitterness and hatred of us on behalf of St Pats. They are trying to get some dosh from us taking him now. Fuck them, give them nothing, we can wait till the summer.
  24. It was a cheap way to get a well known name to appease the rabid masses.
  25. They don’t have any money to spend? Their frothing hoards should be asking their board why? (Are the rumours of millions put aside for compensation correct?). Its easier to use use a bit displacement and shift their anger on us. When we get 55 there will be a collective social meltdown off the scale!
