Gonzo, the whole point of the family stand is to create an atmosphere where kids feel safe. You can say it’s the clubs fault for selling tickets to idiots but it’s not the clubs fault. Everyone knows the Broamloan rear is the family stand with kids everywhere. If your bringing drink in, behaving like a dick, drinking in front of kids which you know makes them uneasy then never mind being a supporter, as a human being your a dick! I totally understand anywhere else in the stadium but the family stand; it’s not on. Everyone on here knows it’s not on in that area. These people who do that are not welcome at Ibrox.

The reason I highlighted it buster is that should the Israeli team take offence they are entitled to walk off. The footballing authorities (is it a FIFA directive?) states no political or religious chants, banners, slogans etc. So it does affect the game if the referee takes the teams off due to flags or songs of an offensive nature. It has happened at other international matches where the ref has stopped play due to this happening.

Will the authorities be taking action against the SFA after we see numerous flags and banners of a political and terrorising nature at Hampden on Tuesday?? Will our Israeli opponents be made welcome in this “all inclusive” Scotland??

I totally agree with John on this. There was much more trouble at games inside and out in the 80/90s. As for coins; it was a health hazard if you were standing and further forward than half way. We live in a world of Moral Panic and are told how to behave, what’s bad/good, how we should react and everything is magnified intensely to suit peripheral agendas. It’s claustrophobic and alarming. Im not suggesting it’s ok to throw coins, only that it’s blown out of proportion.

Fantastic performance again! Grezda looked offrhe pace for the first ten mins but really grew into it. Arfield and Ejaria were excellent and Middleton had another good day. Solid as ever Andy Halliday and another reminder of my bemused mind when he wasn’t at left back on Thursday? Good to see SG taking Morelos off as they were taking shots at him. All in all a great way to go into the break. Another two weeks of mind numbing international guff before we are back.

Seems natural after being dropped for so long. I’m sure he will be fine with a game or two under his belt.
