He is definitely right Craig. There is a separate box for friendly fixtures. You won’t be allocated a brief unless you indicated you wanted one.

Scotland U21 v England U21 Semi Final Toulon Tournament
cooponthewing replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
To be fair I thought he had a fair point. We are genetically not as physically impossing as most. We also do not have great technical ability. This equals a great deal of pishness regularly. Its all about the famous for me. I don’t watch Scotland and couldn’t care less. -
We could get pedantic and day he tried to resign after cup semi as he knew h was out his depth? I’m not berating the guy personally but there are various reasons he should have walked away imo. Good luck to him, hope he does well.

Major strides on and off the pitch as the Steven Gerrard era begins
cooponthewing replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
More fantastic news -
The guy looked very distressed on a regular basis. Personally I would have thought a year or six months out would have done him good. I don’t think Its good for him or the club staying on. I’m not sure what we “owe” him? He was given a job that seasoned managers would run through a wall for. He fell drastically short and wasn’t good enough so was sacked. If he does a good job though everyone is happy. I hope he does?

He should have walked imo. However, I’m not surprised he is hanging on to his role. Their was presumably no other offers so he will carry on. I don’t think all the youths will respect his authority after what’s happened though.

Goram urges Steven Gerrard to play for Rangers

I would certainly suggest he registers himself. Why not? I reckon he would give us a year playing. It might also be a good idea for Rossiter to see him and learn from him. -

Will you be bringing your own serving staff with you Craig? Tell them its a "working holiday" -
He should be looking for a way out. It’s not in his interests to be away from support and his family. He should 100% look after himself regarding his rehab. The club should come to an agreement with him that’s in his and our interests. I’m sure his friends and family are advising him to stay where he is and rebuild his life and career. I hope he does that and I wish him well.

Bill ain’t joking Walterbear you are right at the top. I hope you are fit as the club should sell a free gym membership for that seat

I should maybe point out that the guy is very unlikely to put his kids and family through this in the public eye without sincerity and seeking help. It may be that he doesn’t want to come back? He might want to and resurrect things here (in my opinion he shouldn’t but that’s only my opinion). Either way some of the comments have been intolerant to say the least and it’s good to see most taking a more balanced approach. His health and family come first. The club also have a duty of care. Ultimately it’s his life journey and I hope he gets back on track? As has been pointed out his footballing potential is there for all to see.

That just awful JFK. Downright abysmal. Calvin Harris “Lets Go” is the tune.

I had a look through my tops the other day. Furthest back I go is 92/93. Reckon the ones I had in my teens must have got binned? We had some great tops through the 90s. -
Rangers go to battle with football authorities

Heard him on Clyde last Wednesday night. You wonder how these guys get a job when there young? It’s all word of mouth and nepotism with most of that lot because it’s sure as heck not academic ability. -
Spain will win imo but then I hope England do well. MacK will need counselling if they do ffs

I always look forward to our ore season day out at Ibrox. Wigan isn’t quite the attraction I had hoped for? It’s a chance to see the new signings before the season begins so hopefully we still get a decent turnout?

Rangers go to battle with football authorities
cooponthewing replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
The Scottish footballing landscape may be shifting? The arrival of of Stevie G and the subsequent magnification of Scottish football/clubs and authorities has them all running for cover. Rangers hating lowlife like Speirs and others will begin to tread carefully and when the seismic shift occurs they will blame everyone and each other. Let’s hope we hold them all to account for what they have tried to do to our club and support. Their attemp to destroy generations of history throughout families worldwide who’s lives are shaped by our great institution. Sons and daughters, mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters. However, we are still here and when the landscape changes hold them all to account, let there be no hiding place. -

They must all be bricking themselves. The SPFL as the English media will be all over Stevie G and BBC Scotland the same. Quite simply London will literally “be calling”.
